Great location, walking distance to town. We were there for the rally and it was centrally located to Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road.

We were very happy with our stay. Slightly disappointed as it was advertised to have a pool and tennis courts. There may have been somewhere in town but nothing that we found.

Property was clean, well located and fit our needs perfectly. It was roomy and had all the amenities we were looking for. Owners were great and communicated in a timely manner. This is a great choice if staying in Custer.

Our almost 3 year old granddaughter started calling our vacation home our "sweet, sweet home" after two days. The house was so clean and comfortable! Terry left pamphlets, postcards and books in the house to direct us to any site in the Black Hills. Frosted mugs were in the freezer upon arrival. (Nice after a long day driving!) The home is centrally located to all we wanted to see. Kitchen is well appointed with dishes, pots, pans and appliances. The large bathtub in the master suite was a hit with both our grandkids! Being able to return to a home base like this made our vacation memorable and fun. We would return for another vacation.

Not luxurious, but I don’t need that. Clean. Roomier than expected. Lots of natural light, roomy kitchen and well stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils and table for 6. Very pleasant kitchen. (Freezer stocked with multiple chilled mugs - a welcome touch). Laundry room had hangers on a rod to dry clothes - another welcome attention to detail. Easy walk to main drag -about 10 minutes. Beds comfortable enough, and we are picky. Pillows are ok, but depending on needs, may want to bring your own. May also want to bring or buy body soap as we only found hand soap and Suave Hair and Body for Men. There is a Dollar General and Family Dollar in town so easy enough to buy on a budget. Overall, very pleasant home and would stay again.

This is the second time I've stayed at this property in the last few years and I have enjoyed staying here both times.
The house is layed out well, and works well for couples or individuals.
It's within walking distance to the main business district and its in a quiet neighborhood.
Communication with the owners was easy and timely in response to questions.

We travelled from Virginia to see the Buffalo Roundup and couldn't be happier with our accommodations. It was so nice at the end of a log day to come to a home that was roomy and comfortable. Our host was very gracious.

We travel to the Black Hills every summer for a week long visit. This year, instead of renting a cabin we decided to rent a house so we'd have more space. The house we stayed in had plenty of room for us and all the comforts of home. The process of securing the house was straight forward and communicating with host was easy. I highly recommend this property.

This three bedroom, two bathroom trailer house was just what we needed for a comfortable stay in Custer. Terry was very helpful in letting us know where the fish were biting. The weather was great for fishing, and cooler than Eastern South Dakota!!

House was just what we needed and as advertised.
We were out exploring most of the days and when we got home at night the house was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, close to town and many attractions. It was nice to have the full kitchen and washer/dryer. Terry touch based with me a few days before arrival and at the end. Everything worked out well for a nice trip to South Dakota.

We had a great stay! It was comfortable and we plenty of room for three people to sit, eat and play cards. Close to restaurants and hiking. We hiked Black Elk Peak the highest point in South Dakota.

Conveniently Located Property
Our stay in Custer was amazing! So much to see and do! The property is a short drive from Crazy Horse Monument, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Deadwood, SD, and so much more! The grocery store, an amazing coffee shop, and downtown Custer are all within walking distance. The home, itself, is a single wide trailer that is clean, tidy, and well appointment. The beds are a bit bouncy, but we adjusted and slept just fine!

Absolutely wonderful!
Our visit in this home was absolutely wonderful! The home is so comfy and has all the essentials you may need! I especially appreciated the small details (ice cube trays full and ready to use, baby proofed electrical outlets, provided a high chair and baby lotion). We had my 1 yr old with us and those little things made us feel so welcomed! Will definitely be booking again on our next visit to Custer! :)

Great place to stay to see town and black hills!
We absolutely loved our stay here. From seeing deer in the front yard, to being a very short walk away from the main downtown strip the location was awesome. And the house was clean, welcoming and comfortable for us after a day of adventuring in the hills. It’s minutes away from Custer state park where you can see all different types of animals (we encountered a pack of very friendly burros!) and Mount Rushmore, etc. Terry was also really amazing with us - great communication and understanding and helpful! Couldn’t recommend more
