- Please note, there are 14 steps down from the garage to the unit
- Remodeled kitchenette with quartz countertops, glass backsplash, brand new appliances that include refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker and induction single burner
- Living/Dining room has split AC unit, ceiling fan, indoor table seating for 2, love seat with twin (single) sleeper sofa, brand new Samsung HDTV with cable and high-speed wifi
- Bedroom with ocean views, split AC unit, brand new HDTV, brand new california king sized bed, 540 thread count bedding, closet with wood hangers and 2 wooden luggage racks
- Large bathroom with stand in tiled shower with glass doors and wall to wall mirrors
- Snorkeling gear, beach towels, and beach chairs provided
- We offer a washer and dryer that is shared with the owner. Please coordinate use ahead of time to ensure the owners are home
- Owners are a young professional couple who live upstairs and are happy to welcome you
- 1.5 miles from Kahala Mall where there is Whole Foods grocery store, CVS Pharmacy, movie theaters, shops, and popular bars and restaurants. (Though a short distance away, walking will require ascending a steep road up the ridge upon return)
- 5-10 minutes away from loads of beaches, such as Waikiki Beach and Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
- Check in after 4 pm
- Check out before 11 am

We stayed for 6 nights and this was our home base while exploring the island of Oahu. This one bedroom, bath with shower and a beautiful patio view was perfect for our stay. The small kitchen with a hot plate, microwave, full size refrigerator & Bosch dishwasher was adequate for our needs. A Keurig coffee machine was provided as well. Our friends live nearby so we had a relaxing and delicious BBQ dinner on the patio overlooking the ocean. The grill with a single burner was perfect for searing fresh salmon with crispy skin and grilling marinated Hawaiian BBQ short ribs. Pots & pans along with other kitchen items are provided for home cooked meals. Foodland is the market to get your provisions! Super fresh fish, meats and the best selection of poke! The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and well stocked. Great AC & fans to keep you cool. If you want to be away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki Beach but close enough for a surf lesson or great dining this is a perfect location. The hosts Seth & Tricia live above and are the best! Perfect location for us. Very convenient, and outside of Waikiki traffic. Host responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. Well stocked with all of the little things we needed for a few days, and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at Tricia's apartment. Its quiet, tucked away, and has a gorgeous ocean view on the deck. We drank coffee, ate breakfast, and had our simple dinners watching the beautiful blue. Tricia is a very detailed host, all of the amnenities well organized and ready for us. The place is sparkling clean, and Tricia was a gracious host. Great for a couple.

Our Host’s guest apartment was the perfect spot for us to base during our week on Oahu. Extremely clean & comfortable with amazing views from the lanai. Our hosts were gracious, kind and helpful. Fabulous stay!

Tricia and Seth were both friendly and quickly responsive to requests. I spent most of my time on the lanai thoroughly enjoying the gorgeous ocean view. If you only need one king size bed, this place is a great base from which to explore Oahu.

Convenient location and very nice views. Enjoyed the privacy and sounds of distant waves in the early morning and night. The place was clean and the hosts were organized and helpful when needed. Highly recommend!

We wanted a place outside the city. This was perfect 5 mile drive to city or just take the highway around the island. Host was very cool willing to help us out I’d stay here again. Would plan your food around using a grill. We did eggs and bacon on side burner. But was not to bad. View was amazing and appreciated fast response to questions.

It was perfect! Beautiful, quiet location, near all the tourist sites but not in the congested area of the city. The unit was just great and we had the use of a deck with a fantastic view of the ocean. All the amenities you might need from beach chairs/towels to kitchen items. We would recommend this place to friends.

Great view from patio, shady and pleasant. Convenient to attractions and highway. Apartment is well equipped for a short stay. It should be noted that the access is via a stairway so those with mobility concerns should be aware. Great to have use of garage for parking!

Great place for our week on Oahu- with easy access to windward coast beaches and destinations, Honolulu and more. Breakfast on the lanai with its unbeatable view of the Pacific is a great way to start the day. The apartment was spotless; the kitchen had everything you want and need; plenty of towels including beach towels; snorkeling gear; etc. The apartment and lanai feel very private but the hosts are right there in the main house and super-responsive if you need anything. Highly recommend.

We loved the guest book, great to see who else has stayed at this place and their favorite activities! Place was clean and functional with great sunlight and views in the bedroom. Outside patio is perfect for dining outdoors in the beautiful Hawaii weather. There are stairs to the unit, no problem for us, but if you have mobility issues this could be a concern. We would recommend this place for sure!

This was exactly the type of place we like to stay in and we enjoyed each day! The garage was especially nice for parking the car and the outside table was perfect for breakfast overlooking the ocean. It is not just a vacation here, it is like having a second home.

I was so happy to find an accommodation in the Honolulu area that had parking, and a great view. We had a small hiccup with the timing of our flight, and Seth and Tricia were extremely helpful and understanding. I can’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and this place had everything we could've asked for. It's in a really convenient location away from the craziness of Waikiki but close enough where everything is a short drive away. Tricia was super responsive and helpful and thought of everything we could've needed for the home. We made good use of the ice cooler, beach towels and snorkel gear they have for guests. Our favorite part of our stay was definitely the views and we pretty much had lunch everyday outside on their balcony. We're very appreciative that we could stay in Tricia's and Seth's home and would highly recommend any couples to stay here.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It is exactly as described, and perfect for two guests. The view from the lanai is spectacular and was our favorite feature (the wifi is excellent, and even works on the lanai in case you need to check emails or the surf while you have your morning coffee). The location is centrally located and an easy drive to get to all different parts of the island. Trish and Seth thought of everything to make our stay clean and comfortable, provided all kinds of tips for things to do from a locals perspective, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We can't recommend this property enough and hope to return soon.

Had a great stay, felt very welcome! Located in a safe neighborhood close to a main highway. Appreciated the coffee pods, beach towels and bug spray since I forgot to pack that!

This little oasis was perfect for what we needed. We have family in Hawaii Kai and spent a lot of time with them. It doesn’t have a stove, so if you plan to cook it wouldn’t work.

I kind of felt like I was in a dungeon, however the views were great. There is a pool right outside your bedroom window that just teases you, as you are not aloud in it. We didn't rent a car, we were walking and riding the busses, the walk isn't terribly long, just feels like it is straight uphill!!!
