Beautiful property and history abound. Loved the antiques and pictures. The great room and sunporch and screened in porch were all so wonderful. The location for canoers was perfect. Saranac Lake has so much to do and don’t forget to go to Donnellys Ice Cream daily for the best ice cream on Earth!

Tanya has been wonderful to deal with. This is our 2nd time at Sky Acres. The view from the porch is unmatched. The walk to the dock is long but the price you pay for the view. The cabin is very large with room to spread out and allow groups to go multiple things at once.
We will be back next year again!
BTW. The pike and bass fishing in Osetah and the waters around Sky Acres was amazing

This was our 3rd stay at Sky Acres. The house is very comfortable for our party of 7-8 adults. Plenty of room for everyone. The view is incomparable. Dock area is not easy to access and needs a lot of improvements to make it safer and usable.

Great home and property. Best water and mountain views I’ve ever seen in ADK. Only shortfall is the dock which needs to be replaced.

The view from the back porch is one of the nicest at any house we've stayed in. It's quiet and serene, which was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. Just down the road, we found a great walking path that leads through a wonderful section of the woods.
The log cabin was nice inside as well. Everything was neat and it had everything we were looking for. There was a strong musty smell when we arrived, but a few days of airing out the place pretty much took care of that. The screened-in back porch was our favorite place to hang out during the day when we weren't out hiking. Overall, it was a great week.

This cabin is large, close to town but very secluded, and has a gorgeous view of the lake. We would return here when coming to the area in the future :)

Great property, amazing views. It’s our 3rd stay here. Wish they had a way to watch TV. They could use a light over the kitchen sink, the towels were not good. Other than that we do love the rustic cabin, the location is perfect, the views worth the trip. Overall we love this property.

This house is very comfortable for our family of 8 adults. The views of the lake and mountains are unbelievable.Truly a magical spot. The waterfront area needs a lot of improvement to make it safer and more usable. We managed ok as we don’t have young children in our party. Overall we had a great week and plan to come again.Thank you for sharing this special place!

Spectacular view of the high peaks in the Adirondacks. Stairway and dock to the lake is in disrepair.

The property was beautiful inside and out. Very nice place to stay for multiple people and many nights. The big window in the living room was a nice place for morning coffee as well as the porch, which had a great view. The only downfall, no lighting in the front once it was dark and there was no outside firepit. Other than those small items, it was a very nice place to stay. Will look to potentially come back in the future.

We really enjoyed being in this secluded spot. The house was in good shape- the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fine…it could use more lights. The porch area was wonderful…a great place to listen to the loons and view the mountains.
There was no internet and this was an issue for most of us. I personally didn’t mind being offline but if we needed to contact each other while we were out climbing a mountain, we were not able to.
The wood stove was wonderful as it was cold at night. However, there were no instructions on using the stove…luckily we were a group who was familiar with how to use the stove. You might want to include instructions.
The major issue was the dock…it needs a lot of work in the area by the lake…the dock needs to be repaired.

This is such a unique property, even for the ADK. Peace and quiet and we look forward to visiting again. The view is special. Two issues we had is that it is 2022. Even if you want to disconnect, you shouldn't be forced too! The neighbors have Wi-Fi, so assumed cable is run to the area. Having a smart tv or some sort of connection would be better. Speaking of investment, the dock area needs to be repaired and renovated...it felt dangerous down there. Lots of greatness to this spot, we will be back!

My family stayed here during my October wedding weekend and it was the most perfect place to stay. Just a quick 8 minute drive into town which was great because my wedding was at Hotel Saranac. The house is perfectly secluded with absolutely stunning views of Oseetah Lake and all the mountains. The photos don’t even do it justice. The home itself is so beautiful- the perfect Adirondack charm. The rooms are nice sizes and there’s plenty of space around the house for the kids to play. There’s no doubt we will be back again- already planning another family trip!

Second year we stayed at this location. The views of the lake and mountains are unbelievable. Very secluded location, which we enjoyed. Cabin is a has a great rustic feeling. Only small issue: access to the lake could be improved.

Very comfortable and spacious house. Lovely secluded location with great views and convenient water access. Dined al fresco every evening on the screened-in porch. The loons serenaded us daily. We'll be back.

The view from the porch is incredible. The house itself is well appointed and very clean, with plenty of space for separate activities in the living area. Although the path to the water is very steep, it is short and easily traversed. Since there is no dishwasher, kitchen towels would be helpful. Enjoy this mountaintop retreat.

This is the second time we stayed at Sky Acres Lodge and it was fantastic! The house is immaculate and has plenty of room to spread out as well as a great screened in porch for meals together overlooking the beautiful view of lake and mountains. We also could bring our dog and he loved having dock to jump off of as well the neighboring dog who came to visit to play with. We rented a pontoon boat this time so were able to explore various waterways and drive into Saranac to shop and eat. We also hiked nearby trails which were beautiful. Playing checkers each morning in front of huge picture window the perfect way to start your day. Overall, this house is a great spot to get away from television and technology and enjoy each other’s company.

I love this property. I stayed here many years ago with my family and returned for the first time since 2006 this year. The cabin and grounds were exactly as I remembered. The views are stunning - the surrounding woods make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere without distractions. In reality it is a 5 minute drive to the village and a 15 minute drive to Lake Placid where numerous restaurants and shops are open - while observing COVID safety measures. We watched sunsets, enjoyed hikes, and appreciated the canoe provided that allowed us to further explore the lake. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the large fireplace in the great room is a lovely focus to gather around after the sun sets. On our final evening, after a brief rainstorm, the most spectacular rainbow appeared over the lake! We could not have asked for a better spot to unwind and welcome Fall.

Historic camp with a fabulous view of Oseetah Lake and the high peaks. All basic amenities are available. With the view, there is a a steep walk down to the water, but manageable via a path next to the driveway. Very private and relaxing!

We had a fabulous stay. Weather was beautiful and hot. Nice to get away to such a beautiful part of Saranac Lake.
