This was a great house to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. We loved that there was plenty of room for all 9 of us to sleep (no bunkbeds!) and space for us to hang out without feeling crammed in the house. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and serve our Thanksgiving meal and lots of games and things to do to keep us entertained when we weren’t outside.

We had such a great time at Kim’s cabin! House was perfect for our whole family, 5 grown kids and our grandchild. We loved the views, big family room, hot tub and well stocked kitchen. Game room got a lot of use - ping pong and darts were fun! We hope to visit again soon!

The house is perfect for groups or individual families. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need to cook a decent meal and the outdoor table on the deck is great for evening dining. Location wise, this house is perfect for a short walk or drive to trout creek rec center. You will always be able to beat the crowds to the pool on busier weekends since the home is just a few short blocks away. The neighborhood this house is located on is really quiet and great for evening strolls. We really enjoyed our time at this house!

We had a wonderful week in Tahoe Donner in this warm and comfortable cabin. There's plenty of hang-out space, including a cozy loft with foosball. The kitchen is well supplied, and even has sharp knives. Our host Kim was super responsive and helped us out with a couple of issues related to the huge snowfall we had that week.

Great family getaway!
This was a great place to stay for a lowkey family getaway. We didn't venture out but it is very close to ammentities and resorts for those who are more adventurous. The house is stocked with high-end kitchen tools which was really nice! The dual master suits were nice to have for extra space and the masters has tons of room for pack n plays if you have young kids. They put up baby gates which was extremely helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy House with Great Views
We had a really nice stay over 6 nights. It is a very cozy place and really appreciated the views to the distant mountains. We had a gorgeous sunset one night and beautiful moon rises. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and being able to gaze at the stars. Turning on the fireplace with the press of a button was terrific.
Our kids enjoyed having the Wii and Xbox. The master bedrooms make for cozy hangout spots for the kids. There is cool hill in the back to explore and go sledding. Having Z Market just a minute away was really convenient. I'd say the only downside is that there is no common bathroom on the main floor (just the 2 masters) so my son sleeping in the loft had to come into one of the bedrooms at night to go potty (he was scared to go all the way downstairs). Probably not a big deal for older kids or adults. The showers and carpets in the masters are very nice.
Kim is a great host and very on top of things. We hope to return!

Wonderful skiing vacation
We had our children enrolled in the Sugar Bowl ski race academy for the month of January so we were looking for a base that felt like home. Kim’s house is exactly that - warm even during the couple of heavy storms we had, large enough the kids could play all day without getting bored on snow days, every amenity would find in your own home from waffle machines to XBox games. The hot tub was a winner with the kids even when it was snowing. Nothing was a problem with Kim or Jesse (the housekeeper) to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We would recommend this to any of our friends and happily to stay here again.

Family Thanksgiving
Wonderful place. Access was a bit rough in snow. If chance of snow fall would highly recommend chains even if have four wheel (all wheel) drive. Just enough slope to need a little extra help getting up. Home is laid out perfectly for large family or group. Beautiful slope on side of house for sledding. Kitchen is stocked with most things needed. Might want to bring another pot as there is one pasta pot and one saucepan. We made it work. Lots of things for the young ones to stay busy. Hot tub was WONDERFUL. Such a beautiful place, Kim was more than attentive, and her special touches were seen everywhere throughout the home. Would highly recommend this home for anyone hoping to make special memories.

Perfect Tahoe getaway
The house, amenities and layout were absolutely perfect for our large family Easter getaway. Kim was an amazing host who went above and beyond, making us feel we were in a 4 star hotel. We would definitely go back.

Peaceful and Beautiful
This Home was not only beautiful and peaceful but, Kim, made us feel welcomed before we even set foot in the door! She called days before to communicate updates about her home and was attentive to our needs. On our first night we were welcomed with a beautiful savory vegetable tray, chocolate treats and a nice bottle of wine; helping us relax after the long drive, no need to rush into making dinner!
The kitchen was nicely appointed with all we needed. It was great that the basics were provided. (a few spices, zip lock bags, cooking supplies etc) We travel with our own french press and grinder...But her coffee machine is now on my wish list! The beds and bedding were so comfortable, I had NO desire to get up! Wished I could stay in bed! It was all I could do to keep the kids from packing up the blankets! (I really need to ask where she shops!)
The house is very spacious and easy to have your own space if staying with other families. The kids never bothered us once! With all the 'zoom-zooms'...games, electronics and hot tub, all of us where in heaven...
We look forward to our return!

Wonderful home at a great location!
Loved the home! Would love to stay here again. Great for teenagers since there is ping pong, darts and Xbox. Well appointed with amenities! Loved that they had baggies, seasonings and everything labeled where it needs to go. Great location to all the ski areas. Very comfortable.
