Welcome to 19 Saulsbury St in Dewey Beach!
OVERVIEW: OCEAN BLOCK! Just steps to the beach, a quick walk to Dewey Beach, and easy access to the Trolley to Rehoboth Beach. It is a very adorable and well-maintained six-bedroom single-family beach home with two levels. An incredible open floor plan is great for entertaining and sleeps 14 comfortably. The ground level offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large sunroom, a recently renovated kitchen, a dining area for family meals, and comfortable living room seating. There are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom on the second level.
LOCATION: Centrally located- the beach is steps away, an easy walk to downtown Dewey Beach, or grab the Jolley Trolly just one block from home.
PARKING: Private parking for two cars.
AMENITIES: Extra refrigerator, washer & dryer, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, central AC, dishwasher, gas grill, and outdoor shower.
THINGS TO KNOW: The 199.99 processing fee is not refundable if you cancel. This home rents from Saturday to Saturday in the prime summer. Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a rental package to guests. The bedroom with two twins on the first level is on an enclosed/air-conditioned porch (see photo). No pets and no smoking! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We rented this property sight unseen because it held a large family, was close to the beach, had living and sleeping areas on one floor to meet the needs of a disabled family member, and appeared to be a nice place for children. The property layout was very nice and large and was well equipped. Unfortunately we had no idea how busy that area of town was. Traffic was very busy, the sidewalks in town were narrow and crowded and dangerous to walk on. The older children had little freedom outdoors. The house it great for teens and adults.

The location of this house is steps away from an uncrowded beach and the downtown area. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for a perfect beach week!

This location is perfect! You don’t have to drive anywhere. The jolly trolly is accessible right down the street to take you into rehoboth. House was a good size and other than a minor A/C issue it was a good stay! They got an A/C tech out in a good timeframe.

This is our fourth time renting this house and we are never disappointed. The proximity to the beach and local restaurants are just steps from the door. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals and the common area is spacious for all to sit comfortably. Each time we have been here we had at least 10 family members staying. And we never felt that we were on top of each other. When in Dewey, I will always try and rent this property!

Great location!

We loved this house! It was such a short walk to the beach and had plenty of bedrooms for our family. The twin beds in the downstairs bedroom were pretty uncomfortable and the headboards were not actually attached to the beds. The air conditioners upstairs were a bit noisy. The driveway was very narrow and when folks would park on the street in front of the house, it didn’t leave much room to get in and out. The couch in the living area had no support on the one side. Other than those few very minor things, we thought the house and area were great and would definitely return.

perfect for a big family

The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and very nice. The living areas were comfortable and family friendly. ReMax did a great job as a property manager. The smoke detectors started chirping during the first night and the tv in the living room didn't work. Competent and very nice maintenance people came promptly and fixed both issues. Having two refrigerators was a great convenience. Our only suggestion would be to repair the railing at the front door so that it is usable, especially with seniors staying there.

Tremendous house a block from the beach!!

We are a group of 10-15 women who have been spending a weekend together at the beach for the past13 years. This is our first year at this location and if it's available, we will definitely go back! It had space for all of us, a large kitchen and living space, an enclosed front porch, 2 refrigerators, and 3 full bathrooms. It is so close to the beach that we could easily walk back and forth as needed. Highly recommend for families or groups of friends.

Rented this house with a group of friends for a golf / beach / bars weekend. Perfect location in Dewey with very short walk to beach as well as Dewey Beer Company and The Starboard. Played golf at beautiful Baywood Greens not far away (15-20 mins). Perfect house for a friend group getaway.

We loved how open the 1st floor was. The kids had so much room and we didn't feel on top of each other. So close to beach.... only thing that would make the house better was the walkway to outdoor shower was paved and an outdoor seating area but either way we will be back next year.

Home had plenty of space for our group of 11 adults, 2 kids and 1 one year old. Property was very clean and was easy to maintain for our group. We enjoyed the enclosed front porch. Most nights that is where are group gathered. Close to the beach. We would definitely rent this property again.

This house has probably the best location in Dewey, tons of space, and a super easy check in and out process. A group of friends had an incredibly fun holiday weekend here. Would 100% stay again, we were sad to leave!

Location was perfect. House was well represented online. Worked out great for our group of 7, with enough space for a couple more that stayed for just a night or two. Only negative was no cable, as we were trying to catch a couple games on TV.

Great location but needs updating

The house is located in a great location close to everything. It is a few steps from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and everything else. The kitchen was recently updated. It had a decent dining and living area. As for the bedrooms, they definitively needed some updating. The pillows, mattress covers, and mattresses had stains. Some of the beds were very old and were squeaking. The carpet upstairs was worn out and had stains. There were other minor damages such as broken floor register, out of railing closet doors, and so forth. We were there for three nights and contacted the property management upon our arrival about the grill and the yard being dirty. Someone came the next day cleaning the grill but we still had to clean it before using it. On the third day, someone else came to mow the grass and cleaned the rest of the yard but there were still things left behind possibly from other guests. Overall if you have a party of twelve or more people, I believe it is a good value. Otherwise, if you have a smaller party like half as we did, maybe there are better options to choose from.

Great location but could use a few minor upgrades. There are tv’s in each of the bedrooms with basic cable channels but there are no premium cable channels for a family movie night. Smart tv’s would be ideal which allows for Netflix or other streaming platforms. The grill was also very dirty. Having to cleaned after each rental would be ideal. We also never received the “Welcome Booklet” but were able to make due without it.

We celebrate our friendship every year in Dewey Beach! This was by far the BEST house we have stayed in! From rental to checkout it was seamless! The house was perfect and spacious, well stocked with kitchen supplies, very clean and the location was perfect for our evenings! We will absolutely be back again next year!

This house is exactly as advertised. Prime location in the heart of Dewey. We had a large group (10+) in town for Labor Day Weekend and we all had plenty of space. We will definitely be renting again.

I had a great girls weekend here. The house is spacious, and spread out well so we never were all on top of each other. The location could not be better- steps from the beach, and right in the heart of all the Dewey action. However, it does not sleep 14 unless you count the couches, and there was no "welcome book" with instructions so I did have to call the rental office a few times with some questions. Otherwise, the house was terrific. Also, you can certainly park 3 cars (listing says 2), so that was a great surprise. I'd love to stay here again.
