Beary Awesome was completely renovated in 2015, and has rustic luxurious professionally designed interior with everything from 5 flat screens (one 55"and one curved 75") to the gorgeous inside views of the mountains and new appliances.
The lower level features a game room with a pool table, a huge flat screen 75" curved Samsung and an video arcade gaming system.. There is a video library of over 150 movies, plus a vintage video arcade game with 22 of your favorite old games. Bassett furniture is featured in this king suite. Each king suite on three different levels has flat screens, cable, and dvd players. Covered deck on this level features rocking chairs and the wonderful hot tub.
Main level suite features handcrafted pine log furniture. This level is especially convenient for guests who like to stay on entry level. Kitchen, dining, living, and wrap-around deck with entry door are all on this main level. Covered deck on this level has seating for more than 8 and also-seating for 8 at wooden table.
Top level suite features handcrafted hickory furniture-the seating area right in front of double window has beautiful hickory chairs (one with woven cane). All suites have full baths.

We arrived and loved the winding drives up to our cabin retreat. Lovelier than the online photos and the view was intoxicating! We spent our mornings and evenings on the deck, which is huge offering plenty of room for all 8 of us to enjoy. The hot tub is great, clean, refreshing on a cooler evening. The beds are super comfy and we all enjoyed the game room. Everything is in working order, kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Saw a few bears from a safe distance. The community pool was convenient and nice for the kids. Highly recommend this property!

This is a great place to stay. The cabin host and maintenance personnel answered and resolved a simple issue immediately. The view is perfect! Close to everything but its own piece of privacy also. Would stay again definitely!!!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Beary Awesome and our time in the Smokies. The views from the patio/ balcony is amazing, as good as any view we found in the park. Barbara is a great communicator and easy to work with. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation.

This cabin was beautiful. This was a special trip with my mother, brother's family, and my husband and I. The accommodations were great. My brother and his family kept trying to beat each other's score on the arcade pinball game. You will see top scores of Dad, Mom, and RMM. I personally couldn't even break into the top ten. Location was perfect for seclusion but easy access to the main strip to Gatlinburg and quick drive to Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend!

You can see Annakesta from the front deck. Hot tub and game room the best. Really close to town, grocery store and all activities but so quiet. Only negative was stove only had one burner that worked, need new cue sticks for pool table and more towels. Beds were comfy and room for family to spread out. Owner was soo sweet.

Seven adults stayed for a long weekend and it was wonderful. We all had private space plus the shared areas were roomy enough for all of us that we didn't feel cramped. Both the cabin and outside areas were very clean, the beds were sooo comfortable and the view was absolutely gorgeous. All of us agree that we give this property 5 stars, would 100% recommend, and would all stay here again if given the chance!

This is a spacious beautiful cabin with stunning views of the mountains. Our stay was very pleasant, and we enjoyed numerous wonderful meals together. The beds were very clean and comfy. There's very nice art work on the walls. Numerous pool games were played in the evening although there was only one usable pool (stick) cue that had to be shared. The large game system downstairs in the picture (pac man or avatar... not sure) did not work. The television system in the main floor bedroom did not work for us. The main burner on the stove needs to be repaired. The entry code system did not work when we arrived, but thankfully the owner answered her phone and was able to navigate us into the home. The north deck had a lot of mildew - so we didn't spend any time there, but our time on the front deck was fun and the view is breathtaking! Again - we had a very nice family vacation together, but with those numerous "glitches" it was overpriced. The owner was very polite and informative. We enjoyed the resort pool. It was very nice - we had it all to ourselves as it was just a little before Memorial Day. I would highly recommend this cabin (if the "glitches" are taken care of.)

We had a great time at this wonderful spot. Aside from setting off the alarm getting in very late, everything went very smoothly. Barbara was a wonderful host and very attentive to our questions and comments. The views were as wonderful as advertised or even better. Thanks for a great time.

A perfect home base for our week in Gatlinburg! Comfortable beds, lots of space and privacy, and an amazing view! Kids had a great time in the basement game room and it was great to relax in the hot tub after a day exploring and hiking. We loved just sitting on the deck and enjoying the fresh mountain air! Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for our family of 7! Quick trip down the mountain for groceries and donuts and only minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the national park!

This cabin was fabulous! The owner’s description of the best view of the Smokey’s totally lived up to it. It's location and views were amazing! Make sure to follow the GPS directions to get there the first time, it's quite tricky with the GPS, but well worth it. Very well stocked, we made a couple of meals and found everything we needed. Bathrooms had everything we needed, and plenty of towels for the hot tub. The bedding was very good for the cool nights, and extra blankets were very accessible. All the electronics were very easy to work, with the exception of the main tv above the fireplace I was unable to project from phone/tablet to it. (I could on all the other TVs so maybe user error.) Barbara had everything so well explained in the communications leading up to our trip that I never had to contact her, so her experience in being a VRBO host was obvious. We loved the cabin, and the location and we will definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience at Beary Awesome! When we arrived the cabin was clean and just as described. The views are gorgeous!! The THREE king size beds were wonderful and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The location is great. The cabin is close to the local grocery store, restaurants and downtown Gatlinburg. The community the cabin is located in is so cute. We got out and walked the last couple of days and it was so nice.
Barbara, the owner, was exceptional. She answered all of my questions before we arrived and was quick to communicate throughout our stay. I was so happy with our experience that we are considering renting their condo in Fort Walton. Great vacation and many memories were made!

We had a memorable family Christmas thanks to Barbara! She had the cabin decorated with a 12 ft tree, stockings, and lights on the outside. This was our third stay here and will not be our last! The cabin was clean, and well stocked with everything we needed to cook and accommodate 6 adults comfortably. The host did an excellent job communicating with me and promptly answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this cabin, it has some of the best views of the mountains that not only can be seen from the balconies but just sitting in the livingroom! Thank you Barbara for sharing your cabin with us and making our holiday be special!

This is an amazing cabin. My only regret is not getting to have more days to experience it. The house was clean and the Christmas decorations were amazing. I loved everything about it. Will be an annual destination for me.

Everything was fantastic after we got through the electric door lock. Directions were off just a bit with the lock picture. Might want to look at the directions you sent us and try to lock and un-lock it for yourselves. My personal chef (LOL) said that he could use some sharper knifes or a knife sharpener. They look great but dull. We had a great time and enjoyed the stay very much, even in the rain.

Nicely appointed cabin with awesome views. The only reason for a 4star on cleanliness is that we found a lot of lady bugs in the upstairs bedroom. Barbara was prompt in arranging pest control services. However, the bugs were still there when we returned at night. Anyways, lady bugs are harmless so it didn't bother us too much. Overall we had a comfortable stay while soaking in the awesome views and making good memories.

5 adults enjoyed Beary Awesome. Having 3 bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms was great. The view from the deck was fantastic, we spent every evening sitting in the rocking chairs out there. It was a lovely place!

Our cabin was wonderful in every way! We enjoyed Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains, however, we also enjoyed our cabin to kick back and relax and especially enjoy the view! Perfect for 3 couples as we each had our own space and plenty of room to gather together! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

I have stayed in at least 8 cabins in Black Bear Falls. This cabin was very clean. View is one of the best in Black Bear Falls. The owner was easy to get in touch with when I had a couple questions. The beds were very comfy, and kitchen well stocked. Kids loved playing the arcade game. I would stay here again. It was Beary Awesome for sure and one of the best. Our group of 7 had a great time.

We loved our get away at Beary Awesome. The view was stunning. The property had everything we needed. It was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. It was close to everything in Gatlinburg and just a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Definitely needed more than 1 week to see and do everything. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is absolutely beautiful. This was my first time ever using VRBO and I have to be honest, I was a bit leery; it was a lot of money for our family and required trust. The communication was excellent from beginning to end. The house everything you need to make meals for your family and even things to do on a rainy day. The game room was a big hit with our family. The grocery store is very close to get any food needs you might have. This was our first family summer vacation for over15 years and I wanted to make sure we balanced it with experiences in towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but also taking time to simply enjoy the house and the amazing views!!!
I would definitely rent this property again.
