Very nice cabin to stay in. Peacefully in the woods near Lake Placid, High Fall Gorge and Whitefacemountain. Very recommandable to stay for a good effort or relaxation.

If you long for privacy yet want to be able to jump into the fun at Lake Placid-this is the perfect place to stay.
This home is nestled back on a dead end road with only an approx. 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. Abby is an excellent host with great communication. I wasn’t At the cabin much due to staying for the Ironman triathlon. Everything I needed to make something to eat was there and the bed was comfortable. Just a heads up watch your shins on the bed frame- it hurts ;)
Certainly not Abby’s fault I was clumsy.. just sharing to help save you the pain. The couch is also a hideabed so, even though it’s not big on square footage -Abby has maximized the space to accommodate more guests. It was just me this stay but I’d guess 6 guests could stay here comfortably. Book with confidence- Abby truly is a super host!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Peak Chalet. The location is convenient to many sights and activities in the area. Quiet neighborhood and the view is impressive. The chalet was clean and comfortable and Abby was great with communication although we didn’t need anything during our stay. We hope to return!

What can I say - we are repeat offenders, with this being our second stay here for 2022. Place is a true gem and we can't wait to go back.

We really enjoy returning over the years, to visit the places we shared the most beautiful memories with family and friends. This is one of those places. And the kids, ohhh… they do love their loft. :-)

Cabin was perfect for our hiking vacation in the Adirondacks.

Loved this little chalet nestled in the woods - was super quite and quaint. We were looking for a place to escape, relax, sit on the porch and soak up nature and the Little Peak Chalet delivered. Amy was very responsive when we needed her (even gave us an earlier check-in) and reached out to be sure we had all we wanted - can't ask for better! I would highly recommend and return if I'm in the area again.

Lovely Chalet
We were not disappointed in the jewel in the Adirondacks. The place was clean, it had everything you needed, a great location, and the owner checked to make sure all was well and if there was anything that we needed.

Terrific little place
This place was adorable....very clean...rustic but updated enough and had all the comforts you need for a winter getaway. Very close to Whiteface Mountain and a short drive to Lake Placid. The only negative was the heating system - pretty loud when it cycles on. If you are noise sensitive it might drive you crazy.

Home away from home
Yet another stay at the Little Peaks Chalet. A memorable experience at this very special A-frame gem, just minutes from Whiteface. All four of us can't wait to be back!

Simple, clean, and cozy
Very comfy, albeit small, chalet. I would limit it to no more than 4 adults. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, a 6-minute drive to Whiteface. Wood-burning stove (actually gas powered, no need for wood) was wonderful to add ambiance after a day of skiing. Abby was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again. It’s up a hill, and a short stretch of the driveway is a little steep so I wouldn’t do it without all wheel drive in the winter.

Great Stay at Little Peak Chalet
We had a fabulous week at the Little Peak Chalet. The home was a great basecamp for trips throughout the Adirondacks -- clean, comfortable, well located. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Abby is a great communicator and is super responsive.

A hidden gem just 2 miles from Whiteface
Third visit, but definitely not our last. Perfect spot, equally good in any season. Great experience, with both the Chalet and the owner.

Honeymoon getaway
I am writing this review with my daughter next to me. This was a gift to her and her husband for there wedding. The property was everything they were looking for. It far exceeded their expectations. Very rustic very charming. They will go back and highly recommend staying here. They are already llNnjng a return trip. Awesome location to everything. They appreciated the personal and special touches the owners have done to the cabin. I could go on and on as they thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip.

Little peak chalet
Our family stayed at the little peak chalet for 3 nights in late August. It was a great experience! The location is the best! I loved staying on the porch to look at the moon and stars at night. The place is not big but has everything you need. Abby is such a nice host! We will definitely come back in the future.

Cozy Chalet in a Great Location
Little Peak Chalet was perfect for our brief stay in the area. It’s close to everything we wanted - hiking, fishing, Whiteface, High Falls Gorge - and a great base for exploring Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and other areas. The three of us - two adults and our four year old - had plenty of room to relax and prepare meals. We know the new owners will be making some additional upgrades to the property as well, making it even better.

Great getaway!
This was the ideal location for an Adirondacks vacation. The chalet was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet location to unwind, while also being close to many great trailheads for hiking and experiencing the beautiful outdoors.

Great Location!
Had a wonderful winter weekend with my Mom and little brother. The chalet has amazing views of Whiteface and is close to everything you could want to do around Lake Placid. We highly recommend the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge which is right up the street! The chalet was reasonably clean and very cozy. The only downfall was that the woodburning stove was busted and there were no extra blankets for the pull out couch. Also if you arrive at night the house numbers are not the easiest to see and Google maps takes you past the house.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Cozy cottage near the mountain
Pros:
- close to mountain and has everything you need
- reasonably clean
- internet is good, but had to restart on third day as it got stuck
Cons:
- beds are small for two people, and are very loud you hear every move in the upstairs loft bed
- kitchen pots and utensils are significantly worn
- did not find extra blanket for the pull out couch, so we used our own sleeping bag
- path to the cottage is very sandy and you track in a lot of sand inside, bring slippers. It would be nice to have a vacuum to clean entrance after a couple of days
- very tight for 6 people

Lovely area!!
We had a great time. Enjoyed the cabin. It was perfect for 2 people. What a beautiful area and gorgeous fall colors. The cabin is the perfect distance from Lake Placid and Willminton is a charming little town. We had a great time.

Our stay
The chalet wasn't the cleanest. Also, I wish I would have known it was on a stone road. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, it's a beautiful area.
