About this apartment rental
Beautiful 1 bedroom 1 bath condo beautiful ocean view at the beautiful and pristine Northwest Point Resort. The beauty of this resort is the tranquility and privacy you feel from the moment you arrive. It's well removed from the crowds of Grace Bay but only a short car ride to all the major attractions. The resort is situated on a fifteen acre tract of land located adjacent to the National Marine Park and Nature Preserve, a 15 minute drive from the Providenciales International Airport , grocery stores, and restaurants in Grace Bay. From the moment you arrive at Northwest Point Resort you can sense the feeling of seclusion. You will often be the only ones on the beach or at the pool. There is a great feeling of privacy but it's not for everyone. While you can be in the action and crowds at Grace Bay, Miramar is for those who want to escape all the crowds and enjoy the beauty of the island. The beach in either direction is a great nature walk where there is little chance of seeing anyone else.
Miramar is a one bedroom, one bath, second floor Ocean view unit. It has new table and 4 chairs on the large balcony to take advantage of the breathtaking views. Additional housekeeping is available on a per request basis at a reasonable rate. Northwest Point Resort is located at the end of Millenium Highway just past Blue Hills. A car is recommended as you need it to explore the entire island and the array of local attractions.

We absolutely loved the property, pool area was clean and beautiful. We got exactly what we wanted, the feeling that there is no one else but you on the beach. We came in april for 4 days and the place felt pretty empty which was what we wanted. The ocean was about 78 degrees which was a little chilli for us and the wind was blowing 20-30 mph. The air temp was 80 degrees so it wasnt that balmy weather that u want to cool of in the ocean. There was also a lot of seaweed in front of the condos so we walked about 10 minutes to the left to swim which was no big deal for us.. if you are in search of salitude than this is the place. There is a restaurant on the premises opened certain time of the year..which is nice., but the conch shack is like 12 minutes down the road with an awesome menu! 25-30 minutes to the center of the resort strip on the Grace bay. We booked the excursions via Viator...they have an awesome costumer support. 4 hr snorkeling catamaran was worth it. We will definitely return!

North West Point is one of my favorite places, peace and natural beauty abound, bordering a national park a morning walk to the point is a must. The property is extremely well kept. It might seem a little out of the way and off the beaten path, but that’s a big plus in my book.

Beautiful place with long beach for exploring. Great place to relax. A car is necessary. Restaurant in the resort was closed all week. Kitchen utensils could be better. We could not get the dishwasher to work despite using the manual.

If you are looking for a quiet, private beachfront resort with a lovely pool and quaint on site restaurant, this fits the bill. We walked the beautiful beach for more than a mile and only saw 6 people. Great place to get away for a quiet, peaceful vacation. Beautiful sunset view. Loved it!

Overall the room was comfortable and had all the features needed. We stayed in a 1 bedroom flat, had a full kitchen, keurig coffee maker that we being morning coffee lovers appreciated, we brought our own k-cups from home. Small balcony. Air conditioner worked great. My only issue was I ran out of hot water every time I showered. So, 2 people definitely could not take back to back showers. I didn’t say anything about it, just showered faster.
Being on the North side of the island it was quiet. We left everyday to experience the different beaches. The beach at this resort wasn’t as nice as Grace Bay or Malcom’s Road Beach mostly because there is a significant amount of sea grass on the beach and in the water.
The room was clean! Also, the management provided a beach bag and beach towels for our use.
The island is Beautiful!! Loved our time here.

We met the landlord “Kathy” a couple of times, she is very nice and welcoming.

Thanks Hal for great communication! Miramar was great! The property is amazing! Made for a great long weekend exploring T&C.

Nice condo. Had some water and water heater issues while we were there but owner took care of us. People very friendly on island.

This was our first time to the Turks and Caicos. We loved staying at Northwest point resort. You will need to rent a car but the island is small so you can drive the distance of the entire island in approximately 30 minutes. The resort was a quiet relaxing stay outside of the busy town. There was one night we had the entire pool to ourselves. The restaurant/Bar closed during Covid and has not reopened. You will need to stop at a local grocery store. There are several options available. We would stay here again!

This property has everything needed for a quiet vacation. If you are looking for the busy night life this is not the property for you.
We loved the quiet atmosphere at this property. The pool was beautiful with plenty of chairs and locations around the pool.
The beach was nice did have sea grass come in on the last day. Only complaint was there ate not enough chairs and umbrellas at the beach. People will leave towels and otems out for days in order to save a spot.
You will need a rental car for this location. We loved exploring the island.

The stay in Turks and Caicos was awesome. The location was great for a relaxing vacation as it is on the north point of Providenciales. Yet, only 20 minutes or so to anything making it a great location to do anything. The condo was very nice and well equipped. The pool was awesome and the beach just a short 2 minute walk and right next to the pool. Grace Bay and Long Bay a short drive away too. The host was awesome and answered any questions we had. Note: suggest a rental car if you plan to leave the property or just in general. The last three to four miles to the property is on an cement, rocky, sandy road. Bumpy road but easy to navigate and well maintained. The onsite restaurant is only seasonal (opens in April). Get some groceries at the local IGA and spend some quality, relaxing time at the resort. The resort beach is nice and has water sports gear, but seaweed is present. For water activities, I suggest driving to Grace Bay or Long Bay. Long Bay is super cool and not crowded at all. We didn’t make it to Taylor Bay, but Enders t and it is wonderful too. Great vacation.

Everything was exactly as described. Fantastic spot, a little off the beaten track - but amazing value because of that. Super safe and no issues driving back into town for dinner and then back out to Northwest Point afterwards. Thanks Hal!

Wonderful beautiful and secluded beach retreat. A windy secluded beach on a lovely part of the island , pool, hot tub and 730 am donation based yoga by a wonderful woman Kathy were the highlights of our stay. When we return we will bring a larger suitcase with
More essentials (such as toilet paper) since items on the island are a bit expensive. Thanks so much for the great stay and recommendations on beaches and restaurants. It was wonderful. Look forward to staying again in the future.

My husband & I booked this condo for our 25th wedding anniversary trip. It was perfect! The property was secluded & most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. Totally recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing vacation!!

Phenomenal Stay
Hal's place is simply incredible. We traveled during COVID and Hal was more than forthcoming with his COVID policy and what he/his housekeeper were doing to maintain the space extra clean. The resort that the apartment itself is in is absolutely gorgeous. Beach is a 30 second walk away, with a pool and hot tub always in use by guests. That's not a bad thing - we met some amazing people there, some owners, others just passing through like us. Everyone was more than happy to chat and share about themselves. With quarantine our week here was the most social we've been all year and it was such a welcome experience.
It was windy while we were there, which made some things difficult because everything would go flying, but from what we heard it was the wind that was keeping the bugs at bay so we were happy with that tradeoff.
The apartment itself looks exactly like the pictures, and the view was just outstanding.
As a general note, found driving at night to be difficult. The road up from town, Millenium Highway, can get quite winding and it seems like everyone on the island drives with full beam headlights on which can literally be quite blinding.
That said I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a phenomenal stay Hal.

Lovely condo away from it all
Hal, the unit owner, makes you feel at home before you arrive. He was very responsive with any and all of our questions and was quick to solve a slight issue we had our first day. The condo itself was very clean, and looked just as the photos presented. This was a very comfortable place for my husband and I during our week long stay. The condo complex is quiet and very peaceful. There were several other guests in residence during our stay - this was not an issue. All guests were polite and respectful. If you are looking for peace and quiet on the beach this place is it.
A couple notes about the property: the unit does not face the ocean, although ocean views can be seen from the Master and the balcony. The unit overlooks the national park and does get beautiful sunsets off the balcony.
The beach at the condo complex is nice....but it is not the white sand beach you will see in Grace Bay. When we stayed there was an issue with seaweed. Although maintenance did comb the beach daily, there was enough seaweed in the ocean that swimming directly in front of the condo was less appealing. However, the 3 miles of private beach offer many opportunity to find a "cleaner" pocket of water and swim there.
The condo is a solid 20+ minutes from the nearest grocery store - a car rental is a must here. The island is small and you can get to everything you may need in under 30 minutes.
Overall, our stay at Hal's condo was wonderful. I highly recommend Hal as a host.

Quiet vacation
Property will maintained. No crowds. Almost like having your own private beach.
Only negative is the unpaved road you need to take when leaving the property.

We enjoyed our stay!
NWPR is not for everyone it is 20-30 drive to anywhere but that’s what we liked. It was so quiet and beautiful. We will be back!!

Relaxation at its BEST!
Love the accommodations and relaxing at the Miramar villa. Hiking the seashore in the National Park offered amazing views. Hal was quick to answer any of our needs since this was our first visit to TCI.

Location is remote, that’s what we like. Complex has everything you need, condo is well appointed. Even the kitchen knives are sharp! Hal was easy to work with. It was a great and relaxing week.

Peaceful
We enjoyed our stay. The condo was great, we enjoyed the balcony for meals and relaxing. The few issues we had , TV and lock were handled quickly. Chef Eddy made great conch chowder. Wish the pool were heated as the weather was a bit windy and cool. Lovely spot.

Peaceful, tranquil and spacious
Northwest Point is a must stay at resort for anyone who enjoys getting away from it all. There is plenty to do on resort with the pool and what is nearly a private beach. The resort was sold out when we were there, which meant that there were still plenty of chairs and we were not on top of anyone. Seriously, this is a one of a kind resort.
The unit was clean and spacious. perfect for my wife and I. The living room is modern and comfortable, the porch to die for and the eat-in kitchen was amazing (though we ate most meals on the porch). Having laundry in the unit is a plus as well. The unit was well designed and stocked with towels and all of your beach needs.
We'll be coming back for years to come with our children and can't recommend NWP more highly.

We chose NWP because of the location- off the beaten path and on a gorgeous beach. The condo was perfect for our 10 day stay with all the amenities that we needed. We loved walking the beach (often had it much to ourselves when we headed a few minutes north). The resort staff works hard to keep the beach and grounds beautiful. We enjoyed having Eddie’s restaurant onsite - especially the Thanksgiving special he prepared - delicious!!
Loved the location and the drive into Grace Bay and other spots on TCI was a breeze. Overall a perfect vacation!

We loved our stay! Everything was exactly as described. We rented a car and had no trouble getting to where we wanted to go. We hope Rosalyn & Bruce are there when you go—they own a unit with their son and were very welcoming & wonderful. It was so nice to walk the beach for 3 miles each morning and not see anyone. It’s absolutely breathtaking views and turquoise water are perfect. Hal was easy to work with and Nanci, the cleaning lady, was very hospitable and helpful. Eat at Mango Reef, Somewhere, and Crackpot Kitchen. Froggys is 3 km away for better conch salad than Da Conch Shack. Saw sea turtles when snorkeling which is always a treat. Can snorkel by condos on south point too and no one else is there. Would highly recommend for those not looking for a busy resort.

Hal's place is amazing! It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to make our visit perfect! The beach bags were an added bonus with nice towels as we forgot to bring ours! The resort is in pristine condition. Very clean and quiet. The pool was never crowded, always had plenty of chairs. Same for the beach. We felt like we were on our own private island. Everyone was so friendly and had lots of advice. Hal sent a list of his favorite restaurants, beaches and directions to almost every place we needed to go. The list was very helpful and we tried as many restaurants and beaches as we could fit in. You definitely need a car to get out to Northwest Point. But it really only takes 15-20 mins to get into town. Any questions we had, Hal was very quick with a response. Our week went by quickly and we were sad to have to leave. But we will definitely rent from Hal again when we return!

Heaven On Earth!
I read somewhere in a previous review of Hal's property not to tell anyone of this place and now I know why. This place was heaven on earth. From the moment we found this place and booked our stay we new this was a special special place. My words really can not describe how wonderful of time we had staying at Hal's place. The condo was updated with causal beach furniture and the place was as clean as our own home. Everything we needed from the towels to the kitchen utensils, beach gear and more.
The resort was perfect in every way. We wanted peace and quiet and that is exactly what this place offers. The grounds of the resort a so well kept. I spoke to the landscaper on many of our early morning walks to watch the sun rise. The pool was a very large pool that was always clean, refreshing and again quiet. Most days not one other person was sitting or swimming except for ourselves soaking up the sun. Lunch at the restaurant was actually the best food we ate on the island in our opinion. Eddie was our personal chef most days and his fish tacos and wings were the best on the island. We actually ate tacos and wings on four different days it was that good.
The beach chairs were perfect and the beach was cleaned and racked every morning. Seaweed was coming ashore this time of year but was no big deal. Our new friends we made were Chris from Wisconsin that lives and owns a unit at the resort whom we exchanged our contact info with to our Kite Surfing friends from Canada , Cathy & Greg that also own a unit at the resort.
Our days spent away from the resort took us to Grace Bay beach were we rented a Hobie Cat and sailed the Bay for 4 amazing hours. We also took a day to snorkel on board with Island Vibes Charters that took us to the reef, iguana island and swimming on Grace Bay Beach (the best)!
We also took an evening horse back ride with Qnique Tours that was very fun as we rode in the ocean.
We took in the Brewery tour which was a nice side track from the water sports, very cool operation.
Hal, we can not thank you enough for the information you provided us regarding things to do and see when visiting your place in the sun. Your condo was the perfect choice for what we wanted when we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We are already planning our return trip and your place is our only choice....SEE YOU SOON!
THANK YOU

Wonderful Secluded Resort!
We had a wonderful time staying here and look forward to coming back next year.
The condo was everything it was said to be and more. The owner was great to work with and the staff at the resort were all so nice.
Love the location the pool the restaurant etc etc.
Would highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay away from the tourist end of the island.

Beautiful and private
What a lovely place to stay! Within a half hour drive of everywhere we wanted to go, plus all the benefits of staying away from the crowds. The beach was mostly empty, and we were able to kayak (for free!) multiple times. Would recommend this to couples or families who want to get away from it all but still be close enough to action.

Spring Break in Beautiful TCI
This was our 2nd trip to Turks and Caicos. Northwest Pointe is pretty far away from all the other TCI resorts. You most definitely need a car. The condo was fairly clean. The kitchen was minimally stocked with very basics. It would have been nice to have a blanket for the pull out bed. Was thankful for the Dyson to clean up all the sand. The condo met our needs. Mostly we just slept there and were outside at the pool and the various beaches during the day. We will definitely be back to TCI just not sure we would stay here again due to the location. Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

Amazing Vacation
This beautifully decorated condo had everything we needed for our vacation. The resort is secluded and away from the busy parts of the island, which was exactly what we were looking for. There were a handful of guests using the pool and beach chairs. The restaurant onsite was great when we didn't feel like driving into town (Eddie's fish tacos were the best I had on the island!) Hal was super helpful with all my questions. His list of restaurants and what to do and see was very useful. The view from the deck was very peaceful overlooking the preserve and ocean; also perfect for stargazing at night. We had an incredible trip staying at Miramar!

simply perfect!
I’m torn. If I accurately depict what a paradise Miramar and Hal are, it will be booked solid and I won’t ever be able to return to paradise! Book now! This property is for those who love nature, quiet, top accommodations and unparalleled beauty from the beach, pool, hot tub, stars in the galaxy to superbly appointed kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom with washer & dryer, balcony and yes even Dyson vacuum cleaner to dust the large tile floors! No third world country here. Breville hotwater heater (can you tell I’m a chef?). High end pots and pans, coffee maker.. As an owner of a boutique hotel in DC, I have very high standards. Hal has thought of everything including details on what to pack, where to dine, water bottle fill up, excursions (take Caribbean Crusin 6 hour snorkel lunch of the 5 outer cays of the island for $209 pp with Captain Tom). Hal iBest value on island with great viewing of the outer islands and crystal blue water. Hal equips the property with binoculars- a birders dream. Saw life bird American Oystercatcher! We rented a light blue Suzuki Alto which we called the Flinsyone mobile from Avis. This served us well for $250 a week. Lots of relationship challenges when driving on left side of road and remembering to “give way” when entering the rotary. The long trip up island to the Northwest Point is about a six mile drive... partly on hard compact dirt road... you see Christian schools, homes, gas stations, land fill. The only thing we didn’t reserve ahead of time (necessary even for cocktails at sunset) was getting over to Anamara Resort on the other side of the peninsula. A sweet trip was visiting Chalk Sound the National reserve.. follow road til end and see nature at its finest. Best restaurant:Coco Bistro (take walking at 5:15 line up)... always booked. Next door Coco Van different menu and equally as delicious. Pelican at the Royal West Indies resort has a great Tito and Taco Tuesday for $13 hands down great red snapper or jerk chicken. Not on water but next to and lovely setting. If you want authentic experience on Island, stay at the Northwest Point Resort at Hal’s three properties. If you want fancy pants, stay at the Shore Club on Long Bay for $2,200 per night. Or, do what we did: pay for longue chairs and umbrella (park in public beach access and walk) from pool attendants (ie cash) and then have a cocktail at the bar from the best bartender on the island 2 years running- Jermaine. Janie/H

Hal describes the property exactly as it is. Northwest point is a beautiful location.
Northwest Point is secluded and a very nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Grace Bay. We prefer it this way, we explored all of the Northwest Point and Bonefish Point. Hal provides a very modern setting with pretty much anything you would need.
Thanks again Hal!

Truly a special location!
This is truly a unique and special location on the island and probably one of the best in the Northwest Point Resort itself. The balcony gives you a great vantage point, overlooking both the beautiful vegetation of the Northwest Point Reserve and the fantastic beachfront. You'll feel like this is your own private oasis.
The condo itself is wonderful. Well decorated, clean and comfortable, with updated appliances and everything you could possibly need for a great vacation.
The grounds and pool are very well maintained. There was always someone around tending to something. It's a very quiet resort and most days we were among just a handful of guests, whether at the pool or the beach. The white sand stretches for miles in either direction without a house, or hotel, or anything. It's absolutely gorgeous!! Truly special!!The resort is a bit off the beaten path, so a car is definitely required, but we found the island roads very manageable. (We've driven on several Caribbean islands and, believe me, we've seen some interesting roads!) There are some excellent beaches and restaurants that are only a short drive away. Probably some of the best beaches and meals we've had anywhere in the Caribbean! The restaurant at the resort was great as well, and very handy if you don't feel like cooking or venturing out for the evening.
Overall, we found the condo, the resort, the island, and the people to be wonderful. We had a quiet, relaxing and carefree holiday and would highly recommend the island and the resort to anyone who is looking for the same.

Wonderful Place!
My friend and I stayed at Marimar at Northwest Point and it was just lovely! Definitely exceeded my expectations. Northwest Point is away from the crowds and tourists and is a place to enjoy nature which is beautiful and pristine there. The beach went on for miles in either direction and there were never many other people around. I was often the only person in the pool, and on the beach there was usually only 5-12 other people I could see and other times no one else would be on the beach. The few other people we met at Northwest Point were friendly and like minded and we enjoyed talking with them. The Apartment we rented was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view from our porch overlooking the nature preserve and the ocean. It was a perfect place to enjoy our morning tea and coffee. We rented a car and it was easy to see and do other things on the island, but it was so nice where we were that we spend the majority of our time there. Hal, the owner was very nice and even helped us link up our electronic stuff when we first arrived and lent us his electric tea pot for our stay. Overall, just wonderful!
