Home is beautiful with breathtaking views of mountains and lake. So relaxing. Hosts are very responsive and handle anything that comes up right away. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra pillows/blankets. Would definitely recommend.

This property was amazing! We were a family of 7 and stayed here for our touring around the Kenai Peninsula and it was a perfect location. The house itself was as beautiful as the photos depict. The view is amazing and we enjoyed watching the planes come and go.
It was spotlessly clean. We've rented a lot of properties and this one is by far the most well appointed I've ever rented - from any kitchen item you might need, to hooks for hanging things on, to extra towels, to ziplocks, to the charging station outlets on the nightstands. The beds were very comfortable.
Communication with the owner was great. Appreciated the extra freezer available for the fish we ended up packing to taking home.
Do note that accessing the lake for kayaking is a little tricky as you have to cross the roadway and shoreline access is a little steep.
Highly recommend!

Perfect location for checking out Moose Pass, Cooper landing, and Seward. Highly recommend! The chalet is beautiful and has amazing views. Hosts are very responsive. House is well stocked. We hope to return in Winter. Moose Pass Adventures is a great local guide close by for kayak/hiking trips on trail lake and grant lake.

The Mountain View’s and sunrises were breathtaking!
The hot tub is located in the ideal place to watch the sunrise and see the glistening lake!
The house is spacious and had the comforts of home.
Enjoyed Seward, Whittier, and Kenai, Portage!
Hiking galore! Activity is an hour or more away such as fishing, glaciers, boat tours, wild life, etc!

This was the perfect location for our family to spend the week. We enjoyed the space to cook family meals, play games and enjoy the hot tub with breath taking views. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and we enjoyed canoeing the lake across the street.

Beautiful cottage, very well furnished kitchen. The owner was very responsive with a water issue we had once while staying there. Resolved in less than 30 minutes. Waking up to the wonderful views of the snow capped mountains and the lake in front was simply breathtaking every morning. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this cottage again. Great WiFi. Can’t say the same for the rest of the state. Good central location for activities in the Kenai peninsula (with vehicle). Grocery store of Moose Pass within 1 mile.

First of all - the VIEW. We literally gasped!
The cabin was spacious, extremely clean, well appointed with comfortable furniture (the beds were FANTASTIC), and they had the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a rental.
Communication with the owner was quick and easy and they were extremely helpful/ had great local advice. There is a great little walk down to the lake too that we all really enjoyed. If I find myself in this area again I know exactly where I'll be staying!

Best vacation rental we have ever stayed at! Spacious, well stocked and great layout. We loved the view of the lake and mountains. Sitting in the hot tub was like being on the edge of the world. Watching float planes take off and the train across the lake was super cool. Kitchen so well supplies and stocked. Just bring your clothes and food - everything else was there! Also very private from the other chalets - we still don’t even have a clue where they are! Great location for day trips to Seward, Kenai, Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center and Hope. Gary made check in and check out so easy and was always a text away if we had a question.

Beautiful home with breathtaking views! We were a little further from Seward than we would of liked but the home had everything we needed minus groceries! Our group of 6 fit comfortably and we enjoyed every second of our time in Alaska!!

This property was absolutely amazing! You have breathtaking views overlooking the lake as float planes come and go. The directions to find the cabin were very clear and made it easy to get to. The cabin itself is spectacular - the beds were very comfortable and having three separate bathrooms connected to each room was so nice. The kitchen is wonderful and well stocked with any appliance you would need and the grill outside was wonderful. The deck and living area are wonderful gathering spots to enjoy some downtime! Overall an absolutely wonderful space and one I would visit again in a heartbeat.

This house worked great for our 7 family members. We'll miss the kitchen! It has almost two of everything and we enjoyed cooking most of our family meals there. The view is incredible and we enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land. The hot tub was ideal for the 50+ degree weather and after a day of adventuring. Gary was very nice and responsive. We arrived extremely late and found a breakfast casserole from the hosts in the refrigerator which was so thoughtful and truly appreciated.

The Chalet was great. Beautiful view, nice location for engaging in local tourism (both in Moose Pass and also not a bad drive down to Seward). Big kitchen, gas grill and outdoor hot tub with easy instructions were a plus, as was comfortable seating and a smart TV indoors. The view is spectacular, even better than advertised. Gary was immediately available for any questions but otherwise left us in peace. Buy some groceries in Anchorage and you can make a full dinner in this nice place, well equipped. Beautiful drive down from Ted Stevens Airport in Anchorage. Upper bedroom is nice and spacious, could have used 2 more pillows and some newer towels, but everything was clean and ready. Our adult children (in their 20's) used the bedrooms and baths downstairs. Perfect for us after Major Marine boat tours out of Seward and Moose Pass Adventures' Kayak/Hike on/around Trail Lake and and Grant Lake. Highly recommend those companies too. A great stay; thank you.

OK stay
Property was in a pretty location, although relatively remote so be prepared for a good amount of driving. House rules are very strict, i.e. cannot wear shoes inside, must shower before using jacuzzi, no early check-in. Rental agreement (sent after booking is completed) is arduous - 5 pages of rules that aren't shown in VRBO listing. Be aware of hidden fees - we were charged an additional $420 after our stay was completed because we had 7 guests in our group, even through the property advertises capacity of 10. The rental agreement notes guests must be registered, but nowhere indicates the high extra nightly costs per person. We were also charged an extra $25 for a registered service dog (we offered to provide paperwork) which is illegal, but it wasn't worth the confrontation.

Amazing scenery
Decent place - set in a gorgeous setting. Some items need repair (some windows don't open/close, deck under construction) and very tired worn out furniture, but overall a great space.
