Spent a lovely week at 2 harney peak at beginning of july. The flat was lovely and very comfy. Located on ground floor which was great as no stairs to climb after long day out walking. The walk into keswick is great as along the path you get to see the cows and sheep which my wee girl loved. Just a 15 min walk into keswick. The gardens are beautiful and there is a lovely boat trip to enjoy the scenery. For families with young kids there is a good park that will keep them happy for a few hours. We went just as everything was starting to open up but still great. I will stay here again as its a great location and the flat has everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The furniture is starting to look very shabby and when I tried to open one of the wardrobe draws if fell apart (clearly hadn't been checked, or if it had, why hadn't it been replaced!)

The best way of showing how highly that we rate this apartment is just to confirm that we have paid repeated holidays there over the past 20/30years. It is situated in Portinscale which is perfectly situated for walks of all levels of difficulty. It has its own local pub but if you want more choice the market town of Keswick is only a one mile walk away via a pleasant cross-field route.
We travelled up by car and apart from a trip to Ambleside it remained unused until return time.
Full marks.

Parking was tight, initially, until other cars moved over.
Parking was tight, initially, until other cars moved over. Great having bike store. Disappointed not to have a welcome pack. Clothes left in wardrobe from previous clients - I mentioned this twice but then got a call from the office once I'd left who thought they were mine. Location within walking distance of Keswick was brilliant but on corner by bus stop. Occasional noise from apartment above. Kitchen well equipped. Added bonus of camping chairs. Very enjoyable stay.
