A fantastic week at the Threshing Barn, in the middle of nowhere down a very bumpy unmade road. Our only comment would be the lighting in the entrance hall/dining area was very poor, the 6 spot lights weren't working and made eating in the evening interesting! There was also very poor wifi. But a great venue for a 4 generation holiday - thank you.

Lovely building and excellent amount of space.
Lovely building and excellent amount of space. Good equipment e.g. two fridge/freezers. WiFi didn’t work, which is a significant issue for many people who stream info and need to access emails. Local walk was excellent and food in nearby pub was also excellent. Well presented property and our family of 10 had a great weekend.

We were a group of 7 adults and 1 baby. The cottage met our diverse needs very well, it was well equipped in terms of kitchen equipment and crockery etc and the dishwasher was a godsend. It was very spacious and the main living area was exceptionally light and airy.
There were plenty of places to visit which met our specific circumstances within a 20 minute drive of the cottage.
The only minor point was that in order to have hot water the boiler also required the heating to be on and we struggled to turn off some of the radiators.

A lovely weekend away for a friends Hen Do, fitting 14 of us for several table activities, dancing and chilling. The use of the garden outside was great and the location was quiet and secluded. We had some issues with the WIFI and some of the beds were reported to be uncomfortable by some of the girls. Showers were hot but there was limited pressure. We had some issues with bats in the property, flying around during activities and could hear them in the attic at night time. As a space it was lovely for our group and the downsides did not detract from our overall experience.
