Comfortable accommodation in a great location with excellent food available on site.

The well equipped, comfortable and spacious rooms with an excellent en-suite bathroom .

I did have to move room due to ongoing building work which was noisy. This is offered and effected seamlessly.

Reasonable stay but could have been better

Room & bathroom great and comfortable.

The building working going on around affecting the outdoor areas. Two bookings but not located closely with each other was not helpful.

Disappointing based on previous experiences

The bed and bathroom were both clean and comfortable for the 2 nights stay.

The entrance to the room (no 3) was by the kitchen / service exit (where staff hang out), where the bins were and also a dumping ground for the builders rubbish. Really not what I would have expected. I have never stayed anywhere where I have to walk past a line of bins as I leave

One night stay - great little cottage.

We booked a 1-bed cottage and a double room. The cottage was fantastic and well furnished as was the double bedroom. Some nice touches like tea tray and complimentary drinks voucher. Very comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Cottage was dog friendly and treats and blankets were left for the dogs. Nice little log burner although it wasn't cold enough to need to light it. We were allowed to stay in the cottage until midday which was very useful.

Bedroom was room 6. Sound proofing and shock proofing were non-existent. I think it was above the kitchen so on Sunday morning at 7am we were woken by doors banging which actually made the bed shake! This continued for the next 2 hours. When next door guests awoke we could clearly hear their conversation and when one of them coughed I thought he was in the room with us! I don't suppose there is much that can be done but maybe this should be considered with the new rooms being built. We ate in the restaurant in the evening (4 of us). Restaurant was dog friendly too. We had 2 good meals and 2 not so good. Staff were very friendly and attentive though.

Convenient location next to a lovely pub, comfortable bed.

Very comfy bed with feather pillows, quiet location at the back of the building. Lovely convenient pub next door - I ate both dinner and breakfast there. Food of good quality with friendly staff.

so nice!

Breakfast was very good,plenty of choice including if you are vegetarian or vegan like myself. Accomodation, was clean, warm and cosy. Staff were lovely.

Ein eigenes Haus

Ein ganzes Haus nur für uns :-) Das war mal ein Erlebnis. Lohnt sich. Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant passt auch gut.

Very good location and staff very helpful and friendly

Everything was very good

Could have done with something like netting up at the windows as unless curtains closed there was no privacy especially as we were in a room on the ground floor which looked onto the main road and people could see directly in the room

Enjoyable, would stay again

Unfortunately breakfast was not included and at £100 a night for a double room was expected. We were in Room 4 at the back/over the kitchen so very noisy from 7am with Staff arriving and kitchen door open. So very loud chit chat and pots and pans clanging. Apart from that all good.Housekeeping was very good, clean towels etc. Parking great. We have stayed before, just feel it was a bit overpriced.

The noise from 7am...so no lie in at the back of the cottage. Front room would be better.

Delightful stay. would highly recommend it. Did here a fan coming on and off throughout the night but not too disturbin

Parking. A really awkward pub carpark. everyone seemed to be having difficulty getting in and out of parking spaces. chose to park in free carpark across room as certain car would be pranged in pub carpark

It was OK but the noise each morning was really unpleasant

Good size room and nicely decorated

room directly above kitchen…chefs drum & bass music at 7.55am not pleasant. Delivers noisily thrown around outside the window. BBC spot played full blast on the radio for the staff each morning (before 8.30am). No hot water last morning. Manager seemed a bit snappy.

OVERPRICED ACCOMODATION.

Cleanliness was good. Comfy bed. Great shower.

Room at £105 a night is well overpriced with breakfast not included. Room looked larger in description. We were shown upgrade room but not worth the extra £20 a night. We were above the kitchen which was rather noisy first thing in the morning. Also the smell came up if we had the window open for fresh air.

Looking forward to another visit!!!!!!

The cottage is next door to a fabulous restaurant. We dined there three times and enjoyed every visit. The food was exceptional and incredibly reasonable. The room was clean with a great shower and comfortable bed. I do also need to compliment the staff everyone we encountered was helpful and professional.

I can honestly say that I am unable to give any negative criticism.
