About this house rental

RENOVATIONS -- ALL NEW for 2025:
- Bedding (new mattresses, mattress encasements, padded mattress covers, pillows, sheets, blankets & Tommy Bahama quilts.
- New decor for Master Bedroom: custom-made drapes with 3 coordinating accent pillows (Tommy Bahama fabric), new bamboo blinds, & two chaise lounges reupholstered in Sunbrella fabric.
- Main Floor bedroom: a new privately controlled mini-split a/c unit has been installed in that bedroom.
- New Thermador cooktop
- Exterior has been painted
- A whole house 500 gallon reserve water tank & pressure booster has been installed

Main Description:
This spacious villa (6 bedrooms, 4&1/2 baths, 2 full kitchens) offers three floors of living space – with breathtaking views of Elizabeth Harbor and Crab Cay.

The kitchen on the main floor (graciously appointed with Thermador appliances & granite counters) opens up to the dining & living room with sweeping views of Elizabeth Harbor & Crab Cay. The main floor features a dramatic two-story foyer and half bath. The main floor also a master bedroom suite with king bed & its own private bathroom (sink, shower and toilet) with French doors opening to a private balcony.

The top floor features a private master bedroom suite (king bed) with 2 French doors opening to an outside deck overlooking Elizabeth Harbor & Crab Cay. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet & a huge master bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, double-sink vanity with granite counters, large walk-in shower with two separate showerheads, and toilet.

The bottom floor has its own kitchen with full-size GE refrigerator, sink, microwave and granite counters. This kitchen opens up to a living room area & 4 bedrooms: 3 with queen beds, 1 with two twin beds. These four bedrooms share two adjoining “jack-n-jill” style bathrooms (each has shower, sink and toilet). We have a brand new LG ThinQ washer/dryer located on the bottom floor with new vent system.

The large infinity-edge pool, located directly off the bottom floor, overlooks Elizabeth Harbor & Crab Cay. The pool area has a brand new 42" CalFlame executive stainless steel grill in the outdoor covered bar with granite counter. A private dock (able to accommodate up to a 30-foot boat) is located steps away from the pool area.

We have a local property manager who is readily available for advising guests during their stay.

The location was excellent and the pool & dock were great. The space inside was great but the house needs major TLC. The dishwasher, oven, stove and microwave all need to be replaced. The dishwasher is falling apart, the stovetop is cracked, the oven doesn't heat properly and the microwave is old. There is some mold is various areas in the house and the water pressure was terrible. There were several pieces of furniture outside on the top deck broken and needs to be replaced as well as the outdoor grill. Tracy, the property manager was fantastic and addressed all of our concerns. The owner needs to spend some money to repair and replace these items to justify the price of the rental.

Unfortunately we experienced an overwhelming amount of problems with this house It was not at all up to the standard we would have expected for the price we paid: 1. Leaks- we experienced leaks in the ceiling of the bedroom on the main floor during our stay. There is also broken moulding in the great room and what appears to be significant water damage. Musty smell as well 2. Bedding- the bedding in the house is woefully inadequate. Most of the rooms have a thin coverlet that looks very old and worn. The pillows in the house are about 1 inch thick. This is not what you expect when renting a house for this price. 3. Kitchen- the kitchen is not well stocked at all for large families. There wasn’t even a corkscrew or a bottle opener. The dishwasher didn’t work, you could run the dishes through 3 or 4 times and they are still dirty. Also the oven would not get hot enough even after preheating for long periods of time. We had a private chef come and he said if he would have realized that it was that house he would have never agreed to come 4. Laundry- the dryer also does not work. You have to run a load 3 or 4 times to dry the clothes. 5. Bathroom shower heads had so much buildup that water barely trickled out No water pressure in kitchen 6. Dock - No cleats on the dock to tie larger boat so we had to secure boat to the pilings Tracy the property manager was amazing and is doing the best she can but there are a lot of things that need to be addressed by the owners

Great place in a gated community. Beautiful views and close to Georgetown. Enjoyed our stay with several friends.

House is very pretty but needs a good bit of work. Lots of space and rooms but crown molding is rotting above den windows and I think that’s where the musky smell was coming from. Ceiling peeling in kitchen above fridge and other places that need repair and fresh paint. Mattress in master was awful and made me and husband have to take ibuprofen every morning from sleeping on it. My daughter had to sleep on sofa in den because her room was so hot and wouldn’t cool. She was staying on main floor. The concierge failed to share the notice with us that the island had shut the water off from 6 pm-5am. Water didn’t come back on until around 11 am. I had to find out from the guards at the front gate what was going on and had to reach out to concierge to ask. I won’t stay here again, but love grand Exuma and will be back.

This home has plenty of room for a large group. It is well appointed and located. Only a mile from town, it is easy to get groceries and boat rentals. There were a few small issues (not anything the owner or manager was responsible for) like losing power and losing water for a good amount of time on a couple of days. But that may be expected on an island. The manager was very responsive when contacted. Overall a great, short stay and would reserve this beautiful home again.

The home was exactly as presented. Absolutely beautiful in a superb location. Perfect size for our extended family. Pool was about same temperature as the ocean so it was perfect for hot, sunny days. Water pressure on the third floor was weak but water on the island is a bit of an issue. In fact one day water was cut off to the south part of the island for hours but Tracey kept us in the loop on repair progress. It would be helpful to have a good supply of garbage bags and sink cleaner provided. So many species of aquatic creatures right off our deck! The Rusty Anchor restaurant is definitely a great place to eat. Avoid road travel at night as driving is a challenge at the best of times and night is pretty risky. Have never seen such crystal clear water and sand like icing sugar. People are incredibly polite and welcoming. Exuma is truly a unique and wonderful place to come and explore!

Great location! February Point is a gated community close to George Town (literally less than 10 minute drive). It also has the convenience of an on site restaurant. You can also get picked up for excursions right at the dock! Owners were so responsive and helpful! No need to look further than this house for a great place to stay!
