About this house rental
Home is nestled in a quiet cove of Lake Hamilton. Sits at the mouth of Hot Springs Creek. Drive your boat up to a private dock, tie up, and walk straight up the lighted, flagstone stairs to your vacation getaway! No worries about your boat getting beat up from all the boat traffic since the cove is calm and only about 10 minutes to the main channel by boat. Home is over 3000 sqft and was built 2003 and will not disappoint. Drive the winding road to the home which seems a million miles away from the city but is only one mile from Central Avenue and Super Walmart; a nice convenience. If you are concerned about location; no worries this is perfect. Hot Springs Mall is one direction and Oaklawn Horse Race Track/Year Round Casino (3.1 miles), Downtown and Bath Row Houses are the other direction. All just a few miles.

Relax on the deck or sit outside for dinner and grill hamburgers or steaks. There is great fishing off the boat dock. Dock has lights for night fishing. Some of the winning, tournament fish have been caught in this cove! Nature reserve is across cove with lots of ducks, geese, eagles and other wildlife to watch while sitting under many mature trees. Lake drops in winter months (end of Oct until early Mar) but a running stream remains with nice sounds and much wildlife to watch!

Primary bathroom: Bath has a granite counter with his and her contemporary sinks. Jetted tub and a serene, walk-in shower. Bath towels are provided. 2 rolls of toilet paper provided as a starter.
Secondary bedrooms: 3 other bedrooms have a queen bed each and wall mounted smart tvs with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs.

This is our second stay here in Hot Springs. It is our absolute favorite!! It is perfect for the family with the rooms, game room, fishing dock and open set up. The location is phenomenal for alllllll the things! LOVE!!

We were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. Was looking to relax & spend time with friends we only get to see a few times a year. The house was very clean & very well stocked. Had a great game room & fun board games. Had a great time. The only thing that would have been better was the parking. One of our group had a boat & one had a trailer with a SXS. And with 8 adults & 4 large vehicles parking was a little bit of a problem. But would definitely stay there again & highly recommend the home.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, close to everything you need. Game room was amazing for the kids and they had a great time kayaking and floating in the lake. Owner was very helpful and easily accessible. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Hot Springs.

This property is perfect for a large group. Plenty of space for everyone and a fabulous game room downstairs. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals and there is a gas grill outside for grilling. Location is close to Lake Hamilton and the downtown area even though everything in Hot Springs is easily accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had zero problems. Highly recommend this rental.

There was so much to do at the house, no one wanted to leave to go into town. Everyone was down at the lake mostly. The game room was a hit with the whole family and we watched family movies in the galaxy room. I adored this house!

We had so much fun. Kids loved to kayak and the John boat I fished from dock you could see all the fish just swimming in front of you. Kids loved the game room we loved that we beat them in pool lol. House was so nice and big enough room for us all.

This SFR was in a nice neighborhood close to Hot Springs proper, with plenty of dining and recreation possibilities nearby. But we cooked in every night - great kitchen! The kids did some light fishing off the dock, fed the flock of geese that lives nearby, and saw deer in the woods across the lake in the distance. We had a wonderful view of the lake from the master bedroom, and the game room was plenty fun, if you do not play too seriously. The property was stocked better than most vrbo's. We went to several state parks nearby. The only small disappointment was the kayaks are not included without additional fee. Totally understandable but should have been made clear in the original listing. Overall a most excellent rental and I highly recommend.

First, let me be upfront about my disdain for "grade inflation" that is becoming so prevalent. When every kid gets an "A", and every property gets 5 stars, the ratings become meaningless. Rant over :).
This property is very nice and would be ideal for several couples (or a large family) going to the track. But a few minor issues keep it from being perfect:
1) I sent and inquiry re: early check in, and did not receive a response.
2) It is on the water, but the view is more "pond-like" than what most might imagine when they hear "lake view". Still nice.
2) For what you get, I think the rental price is very reasonable, but we felt a little gouged by the mandatory cleaning fee. We were there about 36 hours (much of that was sleeping), used only two BR's, and did not cook any meals. On leaving, we stripped the beds, took out the trash, and ran the dishwasher. If we left any clutter behind, it was minimal. Clean up could not have been anywhere near what might be needed following a longer stay by a much larger group. We would have felt a bit better if the fee was potentially refundable, or even included in a higher rental price.
PLEASE keep in mind I consider these minor issues, and we would stay there again (if they will still have us :) )

Our family enjoyed the property. The place was very nice. The black light and game room were very fun. There was great birding off the back patio. Easy to find. Close to grocery store. Great place. Property owner was easy to communicate with.

We had a lovely stay with our family over spring break. The house was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots/pans. Heads up - there isn't any coffee, and were only a couple dishwasher tabs, so we had to buy more as we stayed a full week. Our kids were excited to use the kayaks to explore the lake, but we had to wait awhile to get the codes to unlock them. We were also expected to empty and take out garbage cans, strip beds, and start laundry, which we haven't had to do at other VRBOs - We assumed that would be included in the cleaning fee. Overall though, we had a great time.

We had friends from 5 states staying and everyone loved the house and the location. The host was most accommodating. We were all older adults, but this would be a great place for families with children. Beautiful house and fun game room. Great for fishing and fun on the water. Will definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed the weekend for a softball tournament. The house was fantastic and provided a great place to enjoy family and friends. The kids loved the downstairs game room, and we loved watching wildlife from the dock. Looking forward to another stay!

This house is so much fun! The games downstairs are the best and upstairs there is every board game you can imagine. The beds are super comfy, the house is squeaky clean, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Greg was super responsive to any questions we had.

We had a great time! My son never wanted to leave. We were able to feed some ducks right off the dock. The dock is nicely shaded so it is a great spot for fishing.

The only thing that could have made our trip more perfect was if we had booked a longer stay! A 4 night stay was not nearly long enough to fit it all in and soak it all up!
The house was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Quick easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was FULL of activities (inside and outside) to keep everyone of all ages occupied at all times and the Owners were wonderful. Super accommodating and always responded quickly when we had questions. Definitely planning to book again!

This place was awesome in every sense of the word! We enjoyed the easy access to the water, to stores, to town, it was all fantastic. The gameroom was absolutely the best for young and old. The house was very clean and well taken care of. The owner was very accomodating with our challening schedule in picking up our daughter's family at the airport. It was a wonderful time for all. We all took a vote and would love to book it again. Thank you!

The house was perfect for our vacation and visit to Hot Springs. Great scenic location that was close to restaurants, downtown and Hot Springs Country Club. The game room was stocked and kept the evenings very busy.
Jennifer and Greg were great hosts, providing excellent directions and available for any questions. Highly recommend this home for any visit to Hot Springs.

Beautiful and clean. Driveway is very steep and was a bit of a challenge for full size truck, car and large suv, but we managed. We brought a boat so the trailer took up the garage. Location is very centrally located, which we enjoyed. The game room is the star of the show. It is huge and has everything imaginable. We would stay again.

So nice to be such a short drive from all the hot spots but feel so secluded. Owner was helpful and super responsive to us when we had a question. We had a great stay at this property with two families and a wide range of kids! The downstairs game room and movie bunk room was absolutely perfect for the rainy day we had here. Everyone was comfortable, Greg answered questions promptly and we caught lots of fish down on the dock.

Our extended family has an annual Christmas trip and this was our destination this year. The lake house was beautiful, the scenery was beautiful, and it was in the perfect location (close to downtown, but far enough for peace and rest). The game room and theater room were amazing and kept the kiddos busy as the adults visited and rested from excursions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
