Welcome to Kana'i A Nalu, a quiet resort that sits on the ocean away from the road. This complex sits directly on breathtaking Ma'alaea Bay. This setting is wonderful for romantic sunset strolls. For the more active person, there is a great beach to run on as you can do so for miles in peace away from the crowds. Just a short walk down the quiet, tree-lined street from Kana'i A Nalu is Haycraft Park, which leads to 4 miles of uninterrupted sand and surf all the way to the Sugar Beach area. If there is a big south swell, the wave of the harbor, "Freight Trains," can be one of the best in the world attracting expert surfers. Toward the east of Ma'alaea, is a great spot for windsurfing, during both trade and Kona winds. This property is located less than a mile walking distance to Ma'alaea Harbor and it is centrally located on the island between South and West Maui. Three miles of quiet sandy beach will entice you to walk, run, or build sand castles. The tropical water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, or windsurfing.
A short walk down the road will lead you to Ma'alaea Harbor with its great restaurants and shops, including the Five Star rated waterfront. Just steps away are the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, a putt-putt golf course, rock climbing wall, trampoline and bumper boats. Fun for the entire family!
The lanai is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or tea as you watch the whales playing (December-March) or boats going in and out of the harbor. The ocean front heated pool is set in a tropical landscaped courtyard that will inspire you to relax. If you're not into swimming there are plenty of lounge chairs for reading and sunning. There are charcoal barbecues and a gas grill for you to use.
This condo is 952 sq ft. The master bedroom has a King size bed with remodeled bathroom. The second bathroom is remodeled with a walk-in shower and removable shower head. As of August 2024 the second bedroom has a new Queen size bed and the living room a new comfortable sofa and loveseat.
The home has a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, stove/oven, filtered water, crockpot and includes a washer and dryer; linens and towels are provided; there is a telephone for free calls and cable TV. FREE 5G (400 mbps) high speed secure Wi-Fi Internet access for your laptop and other devices.
There are six ceiling fans throughout this home and the tradewinds keep you comfortable. There are 3 split AC units as well just in case you need extra cooling.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Maui Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged for extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.
Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals

The property boasts beachfront however there is no beach or swimming at this complex. It is oceanfront and lovely views from the lani. The unit is beautiful and in close proximity to many popular destinations and restaurants. It’s very close to the harbor.

This condo and property are amazing. Beautiful view! The condo is positioned perfectly to be our of the sun all day. The beach is perfect. You can walk on the beach to Kihea from the condo (3.5 miles).

We really loved the unit and the complex. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and a/c. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the sea turtles. The only suggestion would be to update the living room furniture. It looks a little dated but overall I would give our stay and A+!

Our stay at #318 was super. Great layout and full of custom cabinets with storage everywhere. Well designed with fully stocked kitchen for cooks. Well appointed unit and would love to visit again. One small complaint was the internet service was really spotty and at times we were unable to work properly.

The View Says It All!
This is an excellent place to stay. This is the first time in this condo but we have stayed in this facility other times. Some recent updating was completed. The water pressure was ehhh but I think that is facility wide issue. Plenty of beach items in the condo to take on the beach. No issues with internet speed. Plenty of cookware and dishes. My only suggestion is to have a tray or something available to take food down to the grill area and bring back. The grounds are kept pristine and very well maintained. You will not be disappointed with this condo and the location!

A great spring break vacation
Great central location. Property is lovely & quiet. The condo has pretty much everything you need for cooking and also for playing at the beach. Beds are very comfortable. Loved our stay!!

No beach
Beach was non existent. Pictures did not show beach and beach wall had been completely destroyed. Would have been nice if someone had mentioned and/or shown this. Location was a great place to sit out at the table and watch the whale show, right in front of you.

Perfect Location
The property was clean and well maintained. The property well equipped and updated.
The view from the balcony was the best. Whale watching all day from the balcony was as good as going on a whale watching tour. Within walking distance to a public beach that faces south where the usual northerly winds didn't make the water rough. It was great for snorkeling. We spotted sea turtles up close and all kinds of fish and other sea creatures.
We couldn't have asked for a better location. The property centrally located on the island so it's a short drive to the airport, Lahaina, Kihei or Wailea

Great views right along the beach
First time on Maui. Beach has been washed away along the condos from the Hurricane of the summer of 2018. You can't access the beach right in front of the complex, but you can take a path to the complex next door to access the beach there. I've heard they have plans to reestablish the beach (bring in sand), Honu (Turtles) would swim by right off shore. Place was clean, beds comfortable. First time goin with VRBO would do it again no questions asked, had a great time!

An older but well appointed condo in a quiet neighborhood. The lanai is within a few feet of ocean so lovely views and sounds of pounding surf. A long sandy beach with good swimming a few steps away

Beautiful surroundings. Not many places to eat locally but short drives to almost everywhere. Only complaint is ac vent on balcony makes it too hot to sit there during the day.

The pictures tell no lies....
Amazing accommodations and spectacular scenery from the balcony. The picture of the two coffee cups, palm trees in the background and stunning ocean view is not staged or a picture caught by luck. We can attest that we had an amazing view like this every morning as the sun came up over Haleakala. Unit 318 had everything you would need or want. At night we left the windows open so that we could fall alseep to the sound of the ocean. We really enjoyed the unit and the location.
