Welcome to Tamarind Street cottage

Tamarind Street Cottage is a stylish, lovingly restored four-bedroom cottage overlooking the vibrant country town of Maleny. The Cottage is 3 minutes drive to the Maleny Golf Club. We are central to the Award Winning wedding venues such as Maleny Manor, Tiffanys, The Old Dairy and Goodwater Ridge.

The Cottage has two queen bedrooms and two double rooms individually warm and inviting allowing guests to enjoy the contemporary country aesthetics giving each bedroom a warm sense of belonging. A porta cot with fresh linen and highchair is also provided for guests staying with infants. The renovated bathroom includes shower, vanity and toilet. There is also an additional separate toilet.

The laundry is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay and all laundry and kitchen products are provided.

The Cottage is furnished with a selection of cozy leather lounges, comfortable antique furniture and hand-woven rugs on the original family home hardwood floors. The fireplace fills the lounge room and formal dining with a warm ambience during the cooler months for guests to entertain or simply relax. The original 1950s country kitchen adjoins the Dining Conservatory creating a light filled relaxed connected space overlooking the garden.

The Cottage is fully airconditioned to ensure guest comfort all year round.

We have a Strictly No Animal/Pet Policy!! with respect to future guest requirements and the native wildlife that traverses the property. Tamarind Street Cottage does not charge any additional cleaning fees with your booking.

Tamarind Street Cottage is the perfect country escape located conveniently minutes from Maleny township and the Maleny Golf Club.

If you are using Online Payments and you cancel a booking, the deposit portion of the total transaction value is non-refundable. If you have already paid the remaining balance, and cancel more than 30 days from your stay the balance will be refunded, if you cancel less than 30 days from your stay the balance will not be refunded.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the cottage. It was very comfortable and well furnished, with everything you could need for your stay. We loved having the real fire as it was quite chilly and added to the ambiance. Beds were very comfortable and room size generous. It’s a short walk into Maleny but we used our car due to the rain. Lovely managers Nat and Dave were very helpful and easily contacted.

Our group spent 3 nights at Tamarind Cottage and were delighted with every aspect of the house. Nat and Dave were so helpful and friendly. The house is positioned to enjoy lovely views, beautifully furnished with lovely linen and towels. The fire was a winner with us all. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the Maleny area. We could easily walk into town so very accessible. Great stay

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Tamarind Street Cottage. It was very conveniently located for exploring the lovely bustling town of Maleny and scenic drives across the range to Montville and Mapleton. The back deck was great for morning coffee and late afternoon drinks. Shame about the chooks - we were really looking forward to daily fresh eggs!

Group of 4 ladies stayed 4 days. Cottage was immaculate; beautifully provisioned, perfectly furnished; all beds brilliantly comfy and supportive (my back was grateful); surrounds so quiet, position lovely and close to village, outdoor area perfect for meals and chats; check in process easy; owners friendly, accommodating, welcoming, communicative, helpful and generous; and total occupation was relaxing and simply perfect for our needs. We’d love to return, and we thank the owners for making us feel so welcome in their delightful cottage.

My 9 year old son and I had a wonderful 5 night stay at Tamarind Cottage. It’s a beautiful location and so easy to walk to the main town and back. When we arrived, Nat and David were there to welcome us and were so friendly. We loved the huge backyard, the chickens and the deck to relax on in the afternoons. The house is really well equipped and we were so grateful for the milk, yoghurt and loaf of bread ready for us in the fridge. The daily fresh eggs from the chooks were also amazing! Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Stayed here with friends for a wedding. House had almost everything we needed during our stay (a champagne stopper and full length mirror were the only things we wanted for!). Rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable. Would definitely book again.

OMG Beautiful. The beds were super comfy. The layout was fantastic. We arrived and had everything needed ie milk, tea, bread, condiments etc and most importantly fresh eggs from the chooks. Great view from the back deck. I would definitely recommend a stay there, I want to go back for sure.

We LOVED our time in Maleny. Tamarind Cottage was everything we expected and more. Very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the back porch and warming up by the fire in the evenings. Make sure you save some time to visit the Maleny shops and challenge yourself with a run up Teak hill!

We spent a week at this lovely cottage. So much in the doorstep to see and do. Nat and Dave were great hosts. And the chickens a big hit with our kids! Comfy beds, immaculately clean, warm and homely, and a lovely log fire for cool nights. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous stay at this charming home. Beds were comfortable, lots of space, close to town. There were lots of lovely touches like milk and butter in the fridge, jam, tea and coffee. It was lovely to sit by the fire at night time. It was delightful to sit on the deck with a morning coffee and listen to the chickens. It’s was a pleasure to stay and we hope to visit again.

What an experience this was for our family of 4. I half expected a horse drawn buggy to pull up out front of the house at any time! Our 2 girls loved climbing the huge frangipani trees in the backyard and talking to the chickens! Such a spacious house with elegant beds and country decor. The owners were so accomodating as we needed an earlier check in due to having a wedding to attend that afternoon. Then they also offered us a late check out too. Plus they left delicious butter, bread and milk in the fridge. And also we were so lucky to also eat freshly laid eggs! An experience the girls will hold on to forever. Thank you!

We had a wonderful visit at Maleny at this beautifully renovated home. We loved the little touches - the fresh flowers in each room, eggs from the chickens, veggie garden, well set up kitchen, muesli, milk in the fridge, and the overall high standard of cleanliness. The fenced in garden was perfect for kids and the deck was great for an evening meal. Location is good. It’s a short walk to town and great exercise to walk up the hill. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. Situated on a quiet street not far from the main street in Maleny. Filled with lovely antique furniture and all the amenities we needed for a stay with kids. Two of the queen beds were a bit high for the small kids, but the other two were safer heights. The backyard is fully fenced. Our daughter enjoyed saying hello to the resident chicken each day. Highly recommend for those seeking a quiet getaway.
