Everything was just as described; very comfortable, clean, and had enough room for my husband and me and our 2 adult children. My husband appreciated everything needed for cooking. It is in a safe walkable neighborhood- loved walking around checking out the beautiful old homes!

This home is immaculate and so well appointed. The kitchen is updated and there’s a decent supply of basic cooking needs. The beds are cozy and the rooms were nice and cool for the summer. The owners were wonderful and so understanding when we accidentally arrived an hour early. I highly recommend this spacious residence. It’s close to everything!

This property far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed the outside garden each evening with wine. The kitchen inspired our cooking. The location in an historic neighborhood invited evening strolls and was an easy drive to Portland’s best sites. Mark was so helpful in pointing out area features that truly enhanced our experience. A truly great find.

Comfortable, tastefully decorated, with a beautiful garden area in the back, the Irvington House was the perfect sanctuary during our stay in Portland. We would definitely recommend it!

The house was beautiful and fully-equipped, with some great extras like fresh coffee beans. When I accidentally left something behind, the host went the extra mile in rescuing it and coordinating a pick up. A very fun weekend in a lovely Vrbo.

The upper floors of the house were very comfortable and convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The house was well appointed overall and the beds were comfortable. We were on the tail end of a spring break vacation with our grandchildren who live in Portland and our stay at Irvington House put the icing on the cake. Portland in the Springtime is not to be missed. We look forward to coming back!

There are a couple of apts in this beautiful old home. Ours was on the top two floors. Lots of space, well appointed, bright and the location can't be beat. The TV didn't have live TV (YouTube TV was not registered as they indicated it was. I'm sure they would have fixed it, but it wasn't that important) and 15th Ave is a busy street at commute, but still very comfortable and not loud.

My two colleagues and I greatly enjoyed this house and all of it's Portland charm. We attended a three-day conference at the Oregon Convention Center and it was a quick 5 minute Lyft ride away from the home. The neighborhood was lovely and the location couldn't be beat. The three separate bedrooms allowed us each our own space to decompress after a long day at the conference center and the common spaces were perfect for eating dinners or having meetings together. We REALLY appreciated all of the different coffee making options! A legit espresso maker, drip coffee, a milk frother, we made good use of it all! There was some electric company maintenance of the home that was unexpected by the owners while we were there and Mark communicated with us early and often about it. It ended up being no problem and we appreciated the open, honest communication. Highly recommend this home for your visits to Portland!

We loved our stay at your home! Great location, amazing space, super comfortable Christmas setting for us. That kitchen! The space, those absolutely awesome stools at the kitchen counters, the little corner desk - so perfect, since some of us had to work. But the best part - that glorious kitchen table and benches!! Great for wrapping gifts, playing cards, just hanging around, and oh, yes - eating dinner. My husband and I were so envious of our daughter being upstairs in that perfect bedroom space, and that sleeping porch!! The coziest spot in the world on a drizzly Portland day. We cannot say enough good things about or stay at Irvington House, and cannot wait to come back!

Easy to get around without a car and room to spread out.

We enjoyed the comfort and surroundings (interior and exterior, if it only would have stopped raining!!). But we've been to Portland many times, since our son and daughter-in-law used to live there too - until the fires of 2020 and ever-present chance of evacuation, when they decided to move to Vermont!
Although we are both in our seventies, we had no problem with the stairs up to the second and third floors.
BUT, please add, if you can, an easily-reached and sturdy railing on ONE or BOTh sides of the wide stairway going from the porch entrance down to the smaller stairs (that DO have a railing reaching down to the sidewalk). It was pretty scary having to hold on to the rough stonework and big pumpkin (or whatever it was) to get down safely to the stairs with the railing.

Just what the VRBO description said-great neighborhood, clean building and close to downtown and other neighborhoods. We would stay again. Thanks for the hospitality.

We spent a week in Portland for our family’s vacation and couldn’t have picked a more perfect home to stay in! Central location made every excursion easy to take, and the neighborhood itself was lovely to walk around in, be it for ice cream or a trip to the park with our kids. We even walked to church on Sunday. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and so well-stocked! Plenty of kitchen supplies, bathroom essentials, etc. The hosts were communicative and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great property! Myself, my husband, our daughter, son-in-law and their 6 month old baby… It was well equipped for everyone.. Plenty of room for us all. Walking distance to our son and daughter-in-law. We had a lot of family get togethers! Usually called it an early night, but enjoyed our time at Irvington Place!

Beautiful big clean house. Lovely decor. Everything you need. It was just 2 of us but this would accommodate a large family or even 2. Lovely outdoor area. We walked to restaurants and shops. We were at a conference at the convention Center and that was an easy commute. Five stars f

Came to Portland for my daughter's college graduation. At first I was surprised that there was an onsite manager that lived in the house (as every other VRBO I have rented in the past was completely vacant). I was not disapointed, just surprised. We had a cookout in the backyard with family and friends, and had an AMAZING time. The property is warm and friendly. Even though Portland was experiencing a heat wave, the house still remained cool and airy with just the ceiling fans and open windows. Centerally located, we had coffee in various shops and eat at a number of different restaurants all within walking distance. Do yourself a favor and walk the amazing neighboorhood. Some of the most beautiful homes, trees and gardens that Portland has to offer. It's a great place, I'll be renting again as my daughter has decided to make Portland her permenate home...

Nicely remodeled older home in a quiet neighborhood. We hiked out along the Columbia River Gorge and it was a convenient home base for us. Overall good value and location.

This is a unique property, beautifully restored yet modernized. Clearly respecting its Craftsman heritage, the owners have shown meticulous attention to detail. Plenty of room for a single or a family. Appliances and amenities first rate. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Will definitely return!

Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our trip. The location was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable and very well-appointed. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking (which isn't always the case in VRBOs)! Hosts were communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This was a beautiful home complete with everything we needed for our stay. Our host even accommodated an early arrival due to airline & weather issues, which was so wonderful. The bedrooms were all well-appointed with plenty of extras. The living room and kitchen were beautiful for decompressing after conferences and we could walk to restaurants, coffee, and some shopping. I would love to come back for a vacation!

We loved our stay at the Irvington House! The host greeted us at the door and gave us a lovely tour of the home. I was stocked with all the cookware we could ever need. The location is great. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The house is even better in person than the photos! I only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.

The third bedroom seemed like a converted patio. Very cold, no closet or space to move around.

This was our third time staying at this property and the first with all of our friends. We came up just for a getaway with friends and we all enjoyed it. It’s a homey property in a beautiful neighborhood which is walking distance from great places to eat and drink. It’s centrally located so several well known eateries or attractions are only 1-4 miles away. Highly recommended for friends or a family.

Stayed in upstairs apartment. As it worked out, too many stairs for 4 senior women. Suggest getting sheets that fit better for the top floor single bed because the bottom sheet kept coming off the bed during the night. Suggest more towel racks. Used the coat rack for towels. Otherwise, great location , lovely neighborhood, responsive on site manager and, in spite of stairs, enjoyed our stay and the apartment.
