About this house rental
Indulge in the coastal charm of Pass A Grille with this historic craftsman cottage rental! Located just a few steps away from the most beautiful beach, this house offers island living, perfect for a relaxing getaway. You can walk or bike everywhere, and there's a grocery market just steps away for all your needs. Take a leisurely stroll down the charming streets of Pass A Grille and experience the old beach charm.
The house boasts an open concept kitchen with a bar and vaulted ceilings, a dishwasher, hardwood floors, a screened-in porch, and a sun patio. With 7 miles of white sand beach just waiting for you to explore, this is the perfect place to walk or relax. You can even enjoy cable with Netflix after a day of exploring! This house comes with 3 beds and 2 parking spots and is disinfected and clean, with sanitizer and contact-less check-in for your peace of mind.
Pass-a-Grille Island is consistently ranked among the top beaches in the United States and is just a stone's throw away from St. Pete Beach on Florida's Gulf Coast. Within 10 blocks of the house, you'll find 8 restaurants, a deli, an ice cream store, and a peaceful setting that is unparalleled. The historic area is lined with specialty shops and bars with lively decks, and the white-sand beach points into the bay like a ship's bow. The Gulf Beaches Historical Museum, located in the district, showcases the secret histories of the beachfront's iconic houses and hotels.
For those seeking outdoor activities, Fort De Soto Park is about 3 miles from St. Pete Beach and features piers and shallows for fishing, a canoe trail, and the Paw Playground, where dogs can play unleashed. Merry Pier is also a great spot for fishing, and you can watch pelicans congregate in the gentle waters. If you're looking for civilization, downtown St. Petersburg is just a short walk away, with shops and restaurants to explore. The Dalí Museum is also worth a visit, showcasing the works of famed surrealist Salvador Dalí.
Pass-a-Grille has a quaint downtown, and the brightly colored cottages are reminiscent of artist's colonies. Today, its galleries and restaurants draw Floridians and visitors from all over the world. This safe and clean historic beach town maintains the laid-back feel of the beach communities developed in the early 1900s, thanks to strict zoning that has avoided the intrusion of high-rise beach condos that plague many beach communities.
During your stay, you'll have access to 2 bikes, and there's a beach trolley, free beach ride (local company), BATS taxi, bus, Uber, and Lyft for transportation. Your host is available via text or call and has provided a book with lists of ideas for you to explore during your stay. Come relax in paradise and enjoy all that Pass A Grille has to offer!

We enjoyed our stay and will be back! Lisa was very responsive, but needed nothing because the house was so well done. It had everything we needed and us a block from the beach and the inter coastal. Great stay. Thank you!

Just returned from the most perfect escape at a beach house with an idyllic location - just a 3 minute walk from the beautiful white sandy beach. The house was immaculate, cozy and provided the perfect haven to relax and soak up the amazing sound of the waves. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location. Comfortable beds. Very clean. This property is wonderful but the only downside is parking for this unit. driveway and you need to be a good back up driver to be able to manipulate and backout of the driveway. Trees, bamboo especially when there are other cars in the driveway. I'm an expert driving backwards so it took me a little bit. Otherwise wonderful stay we will definitely be back! Lisa is a wonderful hist/owner and has thoroughly thought of everything to have there to make your stay more enjoyable.

The house was an easy walk to the beach. It was very well stocked with everything you could need including ample cookware, utensils, wonderful bath products, even a white noise machine. The TV is nice and big in the main living area. Shaner's market is very close. Highly recommend that and the new coffee place the Leaping Llama I believe it's called. A very short drive to all the restaurants and walking distance to the Don Cesar. I highly recommend this rental!

Great location in a beautiful place. So handy for the beach and all amenities are in walking (warm) distance. Not sure changing the name of Sea Critters to Red, White and Booze will help attract customers in the future.

Beautifully decorated cottage only a minute walk to the beach. Large, comfortable living area with large tv. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were super comfortable! Full bathroom and 1/2 bathroom were perfect! Nice patio area with bikes, chairs , beach towels, wagon and all you need for a day at the beach. Able to walk to restaurants. Great to have one parking spot by cottage and a parking pass allowing us to bring 2 cars. Parking pass is awesome for parking in other areas of Pass a Grille!! Lisa was amazing. Answering all my questions very quickly!! Would highly recommend!!

Relaxing Beach Week
This property is a quaint quiet beach cottage that provided a wonderful place to relax after fun in the sun. Fantastic neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby. Everything is within walking distance. Beach access is only about 1 1/2 blocks away in a low traffic area. Everything was family-friendly in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. 10/10, highly recommended, and would absolutely book again!

Nice short stay, great location
The location was great, located within short walking distance to beach.
The place could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but it was ok for a short stay.

I can not recommend this property enough. It was perfect for what I was looking for. Situated almost in the middle between the Paradise Grille and the Don Cesar I could get the best of Pass-a-Grille within walking distance. The property is very comfortable and well-appointed. Not fancy, comfortable. Exactly how I like things. Ample parking, a big kitchen, nice living room, and the bedrooms were enough for me and the guests I had during the weekends. The beach is about a 3-minute walk away. Topping everything off was that they are pet friendly. My dog and cat were totally at home. But there was ZERO sign that animals are allowed. Everything was clean, etc. Finally, the management of the property is top-notch. We had a self-induced a plumbing problem and after a bit of trying to resolve it myself, I contacted Lisa. She had a professional plumber out there within an hour. Outstanding response! Thank you so much for making our stay so fantastic!

As an active duty military family, we don't have the opportunity to see family very often, so our trip to Pass-a-grill was not only the first vacation we've taken in years, but we were also planning to see family that we hadn't seen in a long time.I was surprised to receive an email the day before we were supposed to leave for our vacation, that disclosed that the 'beachhouse' we were expecting to stay in was actually an apartment! All the advertisements we had seen previously on VRBO showed pictures of what we thought was a single family house, but the pictures hid the rest of the 'compound'. There are actually 4 total apartments on the property in 2 separate buildings. Parking is extremely tight in the driveway, but the owner did provide us with an on street parking permit at no additional cost, which was nice and we were able to use for family who visited. We had been planning to have a BBQ on the 4th of July, but the grills were rusted out and unusable, so we cooked in the oven and on the stove instead. It was nice having all the kitchen necessities, but a grill was advertised. The hammock in our part of the yard was moldy so we couldn't use it, and the patio set needed a good cleaning before we could use it. I also didn't like having to share the laundry with other renters, especially since there were a couple time conflicts and we were originally expecting a SFH.Overall, we did have a good experience. There are just those few things I would have liked to have known up front. The apartment was really cute and there was more than enough space for our family, but there are SFHs available at cheaper prices. We loved being only a couple blocks from the beach so much that we are considering retiring in the area eventually.

Property was just as described in the listing. It was a perfect balance between Pass-a-grille period charm and the latest updates / modern conveniences. It was immaculate upon arrival and just 1.5 blocks from the beach entry. 22nd Ave is the northernmost public access, so we werent crowded on sand or water at all. It was our first major family outing with our Australian shepherd and she did remarkably well. We hope all who come after us enjoy this lovely getaway as much as we did.

Passe -a-Grille Beach House wonderful experience!
My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at your beach house. The place was clean and comfortable and the outside furniture was a pleasure. We got much needed rest for a week away from our jobs.
We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do which was also a bonus. I highly recommend your beach house.
