Rundum super inkl. des sehr hilfsbereiten Bootsvermieters, der uns auch auf das Wassertaxi hinwies.

Auf einer Yacht zu übernachten war schon etwas Besonderes. Das Boot liegt sehr zentral, in wenigen Minuten ist sowohl die Innenstadt als auch der Strand zu erreichen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt am Steg vorhanden.

Was automatically charged for towels and bedsheets (we had our own towels). There was an extra charge for cleaning. I’m always tidy but had ti spend extra time to avoid the cleaning fee.

Excellent stay for something a bit different

Really clean and nice size boat. The boat is so well equipped and there are more facilities for showering in the harbour. The boat is very clean, check in was really easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Got to watch an amazing sunset after exploring La Rochelle earlier in the day. Great nights stay!

We came here for one night during our 10 day trip to France for something a bit different with the kids. Immaculate inside and facilities were excellent.

Amazing

It was so lovely going to sleep on a boat and waking up in such an amazing location . Didn’t feel any rocking. Close to the shower block. Lovely bathroom on board but only used the toilet ( not shower ). Given good location details to find man who showed us to the boat. He was very helpful and on time for arrival and leaving.

Was surprised buy having to pay extra for sheets & towels. Even more surprised about optional €40 cleaning bill. We decided to clean ourselves which was fine. We didn’t really make a mess.

Perfect location in the port of La Rochelle. Florent (host) is very friendly and gives a lot of tips what to see and do (eat) in La Rochelle. Sleeping on a boat gives an extra dimension to the 'holiday feeling' !

A well-maintained almost new boat with everything you need. An unforgettable experience! Very good location where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Mr Florent is a plus: His super service and perfect personality add a great deal to the stay! (I am so sorry for my late check in which made Mr Florent spend more time waiting.)

super wholesome experience!

It was an amazing experience staying on Florent`s boat. It's perfectly situated in a very calm and peaceful area of the La Rochelle marina. We really loved the boat, it has everything you need even for a longer stay, a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet and a shower but it's also very easy and convenient to use the marina facilities, they are only a few steps away and spotlessly clean. Florence is a such a sympathetic man. Our French isn't the best so we communicated via google translator which was total fun. Now we miss the sunsets and the slight swaying at night... It clearly was one of our best holidays ever. Thank you, Florent!

Unusual to stay on a boat instead of a hotel.

Cramped. Very hot. Water was very smelly due to the extreme heat which obviously was not the fault of the owner. It would have been a much better experience in cooler times.

Fabulous

unique setting and great sleep on the boat. The harbor is huge but has a water taxi to take you to the central area of La Rochelle

It is tricky to get to the harbor because of the layout of La Rochelle and a fair amount of street closures due to the construction

SUPER AMAZING EXPERIENCE, OVER EXPECTATIONS

The owner is so helpful and makes and reliable. He was so nice with us even with the explanation in English. The boat is bigger than what it seems in the pictures, super comfy and full of accessories. The front of the boat gives the opportunity to be set outside in the evening or morning and look at the quietest place you will ever be in. Calm, relaxing and super comfy, it has everything you would find in a hotel room but in a different way! Merci Florent!

The only thing that I would say is that it should be recommended to arrive by car, we didn’t rent one and to get there on foot is not so easy, but not such a big problem

We will be back for sure!

The boat was very modern and extremely clean. No shoes allowed on board! A lot of thought had gone into making our stay comfortable. We were kept up to date with where the boat was and available arrival times. The owner was very punctual and helpful, giving us a 30 minute induction as to what switches were for what and how to fill the water tank. It had mains electricity and heating. The marina had about a 1000 boats in it but was very quiet. If you didn’t want to use the on board shower there was a large shower block just outside the security gate. There was ample room for a couple but a bit cramped for 4 adults if spending much time on the boat. Sleeping for 4 adults ok. 2 Adults and two children would be fine. Many good restaurants in easy walking distance. car park just outside marina. Beach in very easy walking distance!

Lovely and way more fun than a hotel room, nice peaceful location, handy for water bus into old port, boat was well equipped, immaculate and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay

Very good

We love the experience! We would say it is a bit like camping though, with the outside showers and the small space. It's the first time we are so close to the beach! Everything feels easily accessible, parking and showers. The sun came up right in front of us... lovely morning light. The owner was very nice, punctual and we had good communication.

It is not so free or spontaneous, I mean you need to arrange the arrival and departure time in order to meet the owner for the instructions, and then to have the money deposit back. If the check-in time is so late, starting at 17h, the check-out should be late too. We found the time soo reduced, specially if you are just staying one night. Maybe that was just us, but we were all the time aware of not breaking something, keeping everything clean, everything seems so fragile, that it turned out not to be so relaxing.
