Lovely cosy cottage in tranquil location, with beautiful views just feet away from the sailors path , Fully equipt kitchen for all your cooking needs, nice sized garden . Nice and clean.
Low pressure on all water but the properties water is from a well that is filtered.
A nice gesture would have been a welcome pack tea/ coffee long life milk and some mini shampoo and shower gel .

Just wow. Marsh View is a lovely cottage in a simply stunning, tranquil location. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a gorgeous garden and loads of sitting out space. Ample parking just outside, and good walks from the doorstep. There was even a guitar (in tune, as well!). Close to Aldeburgh and Snape, and good access to the Suffolk coast.
Nothing at all. It was pretty much perfect

Location was amazing, the cottage had plenty of space, the Woodburner created a wonderful environment in the evening. The view from the second bedroom is incredible and the cottage has everything you need for a great break.

Nice garden and new patio, wood burner which unfortunately we had to use one night because the weather was so bad! Well equipped, especially the kitchen and clean and tidy
Duvet too heavy, marsh view now obscured by neighbour's extension and only view of marsh from house was upstairs bedroom. Shame the fridge door was broken so not possible to store milk upright

Beautiful location. Cannot fault the cottage. Spotlessly clean and everything you could need. Cosy and homely.
A bath would have been nice after our king walks.

Beautiful location near marshland, popular walks and within easy reach of town and the local shops and eateries.
The property is kept very clean and has a lovely homely feel. Richard the owner texted all relevant information and kept us updated with directions and how to access the cottage.
Lovely spot for nature watching and due to low light pollution we found star gazing was magnificent on clear evenings.
Everything we needed for our 3 night stay was provided. The shower is great with plenty of water pressure. The towels are lovely and fluffy and there are even towels provided for your 4 legged friend in a basket by the entrance door.
We didn't find anything to dislike. Just bring a few stock items and your preferred tipple for those nights you wish for a quiet night in by the light of the log burner or lazing in the more than ample outdoor space.

The cottage is in a superb location with walks from the door. It was a clean, cosy ,warm cottage with everything you needed for a relaxing stay, the enclosed garden was a big bonus for the dog.
We had a hard time getting comfy in the double bed, but that is probably because we are used to a king size bed.

On occasions Neighbours dog barking.

The location is overlooking the River Alde marsh and right on the Sailors' Path to Snape.

The cottage was well placed, well kept and very clean,
The second bedroom had insufficient space for an adult - the double bed took up 90 pc of room with no wardrobe available.
A whining dog next door was disturbing.

Fantastic location, the ultimate getaway for peace and tranquillity, great walks from the cottage. Well equipped property a real home from home. Snape one way aldeburgh the other both within a few miles.Highly recommend place to stay

Great location and very considerate owners. We also appreciated the log fire, as we went in winter.
The waterworks in the upstairs bathroom are very noisy. This is nothing to do with the property but a neighbour's dog barks incessantly.

Location, views from smaller bedroom, home from home kitchen facilities and log burner, all in all comfortable lovely cottage. The phrase lately is looking after your mental wellbeing, this is certainly a place that does just that, would definitely recommend it and stay again.
The only negative is that the bed was just a little too firm for me, but was fine for my partner.

Marsh View had a homely feel to it. The house was warm and welcoming when we arrived after dark with motion lights giving us a clear route to the door. We found the kitchen easy to use and well equipped . The lounge was cosy and we used the wood burner each night. We found the beds comfortable and the shower easy to use. It was nice to have the extra toilet upstairs. We enjoyed walking from the door with great views over the Marshes-sadly dogs weren't allowed in the bird hide
A lovely little place.
We found the bedrooms a little too warm for us but that is a personal view. We just switched off the heater!

The location is stunning. Great walks and scenery. The cottage is really comfortable, really well equipped and a home from home. We have stayed many places in Suffolk and Norfolk, Marsh View is by far one of the best places we've stayed. If it had a pub in walking distance it would be perfect!
If I had a gun to my head I could probably think of something...

Second time we have stayed at this quiet, cosy cottage. It really feels like a home.
Location is great, views across the marsh are lovely. Great spot for walking and curl up in front of the wood burner in the evening.
Even if you are not into bird watching a walk to the hide in the early morning is magical!
Comfortable beds, nice linen …good nights sleep.
Lots of places to eat are a short drive away but everything you need if you want to stay in and cook and eat in the nice cosy dining room.
Nice garden for the summer also.
The Lane to the cottage is narrow, sandy soil and uneven but you get use to it. We didn’t find it a problem.

Lovely clean cottage. View from upstairs bedroom was lovely.
The view was spoilt by the unfinished extension from other property when in the garden.

The property was extremely well equipped. The bed was super comfortable. The location was very convenient for all the local attractions.
The garden area was lovely and throughout our stay it was really peaceful.
Nothing not to like

The accomodation had everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. It was a quirky nice house with a gorgeous living room. We had a cool day at the end of our break and lit the lovely fire. It was so cosy.
The location is lovely, however it is quite tricky to get to the marshes, there is not a direct route from the house to the marshes as the neighbouring property blocks it. There is also a new extension next door which blocks some of the view of the marshes. Can still be seen but it's not as open as you would expect.
