This was our first stay at this property and it was wonderful. It was perfect for the ages and interests of all our children and grandchildren.
There are plenty of opportunities for kayaking, fishing, games, puzzles, reading, cooking and just plain relaxing on the lovely screened-in porch, taking in the lovely view of the pond.
It is clean and well-appointed.
We have stayed in a few vacation homes over the past 20 years while our family has expanded, thus needs have changed.
This one met them all and we are returning next year by popular demand.
Thank you.

Nice place , well kept, clean comfortable, feels like home. Nice dock on rust pond . Took the kayak out for a few trips on the pond. The dirt road to camp could use a little work.

Our family had an amazing time, kayaking, swimming, playing games, and enjoying special family meals together. This property exceeded our expectations. The location is just steps from the beautiful Rust Pond and includes everything you need to spend all day outdoors and on the water (multiple kayaks, life vests, float noodles, towels). It’s a quiet area and it often felt like we were the only ones on the pond. The enclosed porch was perfect for playing family games and enjoying the beautiful views.

Peaceful Lake, Beautiful House
My family of 5 adults spent a week at this beautiful lakeside house and we loved it. The owners and the property manager were available, friendly and helpful.
The house was immaculate. Beach towels, beach chairs, life jackets, kayaks, paddle board and fans were available as well as AC in the third floor bedroom.
The third floor bedroom is private and has spectacular views of the crystal clear lake. The bedroom at ground level is also very private and is adjacent to a beautiful bathroom with a huge shower and plenty of hot water. The bedroom on the middle floor is smaller than the others, but was comfortable and is also adjacent to a bathroom with shower and tub. All of the adult beds were comfortable. We had no children in our group, so we did not try out the 4 bunk beds!
This house had everything you need for utensils in the kitchen. The lake is beautiful and sunsets spectacular. My husband caught fish, we all had a chance to paddle board and we swam from the dock. The porch overlooking the lake is comfortable with views of the lake.
The one caution I would make is that this house has multi-floors. It is totally manageable for most, but if you have mobility issues access to the lake as well as access to the upper and lower floors will be difficult.
This house is a gem! The time our family spent together at Rust Pond was very special and much appreciated after all of the time spent apart over the last two years.

Beautiful, large, clean house with great water views.
Beautiful, clean home with great water views. Convenient setup of bedrooms for kids and adults. Plenty of room for 4 adults and three children. Spent lots of time on screened in porch looking through the trees to the pond. Very relaxing. Rust pond has clean water for swimming and calm water for kayaking. House is close to Wolfeburro which has quaint shops and restaurants and easy access to lake Winnipesaukke. Owners live in nearby home. They were pleasant, very responsive and gave us our privacy. I would rent this house again.

Exceptional family get away!
We were more than pleased with our stay at this Rust Pond home. The property manager was very helpful as we planned our stay and with any questions during our time in Wolfboro. The owners likewise went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The home is a perfect lake house with everything we needed to keep all ages happy. We had plenty of space inside and outside to spread out, enjoy the beautiful pond, kayak, paddle-board, fish, read and RELAX! The Wolfboro area has many places to visit, dine, things to do, and is centrally located for short day trips throughput the region. Can not wait to go back!

Beautiful waterfront property
I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week with my mom and three kids. It couldn’t have been better! This property had all that we needed for our stay including all gear for water sports and a ready to use kitchen. The views were phenomenal from the porch and bedrooms. We spent mornings and evenings looking at the pond and listening to the loons. The pond was awesome as well — big enough to keep everyone entertained with kayaks and stand up paddle, but not so big that we felt unsafe being out with the kids.
The property manager and owner were incredibly helpful from booking all the way to check out. Great family vacation! The kids were asking about a return visit on our first day!

Best family vacation ever!
Our week long stay on Rust Pond was hands down the best vacation we’ve ever experienced. We were a family of 4 adults, a teenager and her friend, and a 2-year old. There was plenty of room for everyone to both have space alone, and to come together as a family for meals and games. There were plenty of water toys to keep the adults and kids busy...2 single adult kayaks, 1 double adult kayak, a paddle board, and two small kid kayaks. Plenty of things to enjoy exploring the crystal clear lake! It was big enough to explore, with the teens feeling like they were out on an adventure, but not so big that it was overwhelming. We didn’t have to worry about them out on their own. The toddler loved being paddled to a nearby sandy, shallow area where he could stand and play in the water and sand. Nights were spent on the dock star gazing at Tyne Milky Way!
There was no TV, which was great to unplug and be with family. But WiFi allowed us to have all the amenities when we wanted (which was rare as we reconnected as a family without technology). We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location, more perfect place to stay, and just a wonderful trip. Everyone in the family was talking about wanting to come back next year.
The owners were more than hospitable, making sure we checked in ok and being available via text when anything came up. The house was well stocked with the necessities. Everything was very clean and welcoming!
Thank you for an amazing week and we hope to be back next year!

We had a great time staying at this beautiful house on a beautiful, peaceful lake. We used the kayaks and really appreciated how few people were on the lake. It was an idyllic setting and the house was perfect for us. The owners were also delightful and very helpful. I would return and highly recommended this house!

Great spot for our family vacation
We were 5 adults and 2 teenage granddaughters. We loved being right on the lake with plenty of water toys to keep everyone happy. Evening dinner on the deck was exceptionally pleasant. Whenever a problem developed the owner and maintenance man we quick to respond and correct the problem.

Family week stay on Rust Pond NH
All family eight members enjoyed a great week in Wolfeboro. Just steps from the house to Rust Pond with a nice dock allowing for easy access for kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing, as well as watching wildlife such as wood ducks. The house has plenty of sleeping accommodations to allow a night of rest after each day’s activities. A long screened porch provides plenty of room to gather for joint activities and view activities near the dock. The kitchen and cooking accommodations are more than adequate to prepare and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

What a great house and location!
You can not beat the view and peaceful sounds of the Loons! The house is spacious and updated, yet gives the feeling of a "lake cottage feel", with the front porch and original sitting area. Communication with the owner was great. The location to Wolfeboro downtown was a quick drive. We would definitely come back!

Great week
We had a wonderful stay here. The owner, Susan Blalock, was lovely and very accommodating. The cottage was clean and most important, the beds were comfortable. Our 6 grandsons had a ball playing with the float toys and the kayaks provided by the owners. We only left the cottage one day to go hiking. My favorite part was how clear the pond was ----no weeds and one could see the bottom when standing in 5 feet of water. We had hardly pulled out of the driveway to return home when the boys were asking if we could come back next year. Thanks for a great week, Susan.

A wonderful week on Rust Pond
This lovely house on Rust Pond is comfortable, airy and well-provisioned. Waking up each morning to expansive views of the beautiful lake was wonderful; ending the evenings sitting on the porch and listening to the loons was just amazing! The owners were responsive to any questions we had while planning our trip and provided excellent information about the house and the town. We thoroughly enjoyed a restful and restorative week basking in the pleasures of life along the shores of this beautiful lake with our kids and grand kids!

Wonderful relaxing retreat
We can not say enough good things about this relaxing retreat on Rust Pond. We were in Wolfeboro to be married and wanted a place for our entire wedding party to stay together. We came across this wonderful home and it did not disappoint. When we were not preparing for wedding festivities we were relaxing down by the pond. All of my friends came in from all over the country and we do not see each other enough. The set up of this home allowed us to reconnect <3
THANK YOU for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful quiet lake and spacious house
This was the perfect house for my family. The lake was beautiful, clean and quiet with very few motor boats. My kids (age 3 & 5) enjoyed kayaking on the lake, swimming and fishing off the dock. There was a sandy beach a short kayak ride away where we could pick blueberries and explore. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and was much bigger than we expected. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/plates etc for family dinners and a beautiful view. There were lots of seating options at the kitchen table, on the deck or on the dock - all with an amazing view of the lake. The bedrooms all had beautiful views and were very comfortable for us. There were lots of kayaking options for kids and adults as well as floats for the kids. We were only ten minutes from down town Wolfeboro to grab food at the store but we really did not feel the need to leave the house for any other activities because it was so relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again next summer!

The perfect place
Our large family gathered at the house and we could not be more pleased. The home, set on the most beautiful lake, Rust Pond, offered the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. The home was well appointed with all the comforts of home including a new large deck, large screened in porch, beautiful master bedroom and brand new lower level with two bedrooms and a spa-like bathroom. We easily made large family dinners and had fun all around. The home was impeccably clean and the owners were warm, responsive and accommodating. The dock on the lake was perfect for swimming or just relaxing. It's a 10 min drive into Wolfeboro, should you want to take in the cozy local town amenities. Or check out the bigger lake. We even rented a pontoon for two days to explore Winnepeasakee. I would come back again for sure.
