About this house rental
Set in the Exmoor National Park, this beautiful property is nestled in its own tranquil valley surrounded by 450 acres of Exmoor farm and woodland.
The 18th century Granary offers eight luxurious en-suite double or twin rooms spread across three floors, and with a vaulted double height living area at its heart, complete with wood burner.
Outside, the Granary has its own lawned gardens, complete with enticing hot tub, heated outdoor swimming pool (summer) and children's play area.
The property is located at the heart of this large organic, regenerative farm - itself cocooned in the centre of the National Park. There's zero traffic noise, stunning star gazing at night, and a comfy bed to snuggle up in at the end of a day's fun and relaxation.
This is 'proper holiday' stuff, even if you're only able to stay with us for a few nights.

We were a group of 15, adults and children, the open space has everything for all age ranges. It’s super rural and those roads are single track. The walk down to the pub is pleasant - take your time on the walk back if you aren’t the fittest, it’s sobering we stayed for the weekend and walked down twice. The property itself is of high quality with beautiful and comfortable furnishing, all bedrooms have en-suites making for privacy if you want it. You are never on top of each other.
Also there are garden & board games if you want them. We really enjoyed the weekend & had a great time, thank you.

What a lovely house. Perfect for our large group, with all the towels, robes, utensils we needed. The owners left us a lovely welcome gift of local produce, and were super helpful when we had a couple of issues. Highly recommend!

Family break
I honestly can not recommend this property enough! We stayed in June for a family break, and it was amazing!
David was very helpful in arranging activities including spa treatments, clay pigeon shooting and archery.
The kids absolutely loved it and we are already planning on coming back next year!

Beautiful Place
We were a large group of 22, 18 of us stayed in the beautiful Granary barn conversion & 4 of us stayed in the B&B. The internet photos of the Granary don't do it justice. It is a very large property & is beautifully done out with very high quality finish. It is the best equipped property I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms are large & the beds are very comfy. Each bedroom is like a hotel room & all have en suites. We had several children and teenagers & they really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub.
The 4 people who stayed in the B&B were also very satisfied with their stay. The B&B is more rustic than the Granary but is very cosy and charming and had a lovely open fire burning.
We also chose to have a meal in the B&B for my 40th birthday & I would highly recommend this. The home cooked food tasted amazing & the deserts were something else. A lot of the vegetables were grown on the farm & you could really taste this. The guests who stayed in the B&B were very happy with their breakfasts & said there was a lot of choice
Diana and David, the couple who own & run these two properties, were lovely and very attentive whilst giving us privacy to enjoy our holiday.
The properties are in a beautiful location & perfectly located on Exmoor National Park, close to Dunster Castle & not far from Minehead.
I would highly recommend both properties. The Granary is perfect for large groups and is incredibly grand and spacious, whilst the B&B is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Really appreciated the opportunity to stay in The Granary, a very beautiful house. Amazing space allowing everyone to do their own thing without overcrowding, coming together for meals and games. Every bedroom was amazingly designed with an ensuite bathroom which helped with the logistics of hosting a large group. Also the two bedrooms on the first floor were perfect for my elderly parents and their friends, giving access to everything all on one level, reducing the need to climb any stairs. My parents, who normally have many complaints, absolutely loved the placed, even down to the height of the bed! To round it off we were blessed with a beautiful tasty welcom cake on arrival.
The hot tub/jacuzzi added to the relaxation of the holiday and the property managers David, John and Diana are so friendly and welcoming including their playful dogs.
Finally the location is very remote but beautifully set in the tranquil countryside. However, the remoteness does come with a poor phone signal and an intermittent broadband service but on the plus side it encouraged the family to engage with each other more. A win win! 😀

70 birthday celebration
we greatly enjoyed our long weekend stay and the fact that this property catered for 18 people was great The kitchen is very well equipped and with the smaller table available all 18 persons was able to sit dining in the same area there is a small swimming pool available a short distance from the barn but you could only use this up until 1 pm so that cut down the usage when the afternoon would have been far better The hot tub was used a lot which was great we thought that the outdoor furniture could have bee updated overall a great time was had by all

Brilliant house for special occasions
Have just arrived home from this amazing property. 15 of us celebrated a surprise 70th birthday. Loads of living space and spacious bedrooms. Loved the fact they were all ensuite. One of the most well equipped properties we have stayed in. Everyone loved the hot tub and beautiful scenery. Peaceful surroundings and owners very friendly. Loved the homemade cake from Diana, thankyou. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks for a brilliant weekend.

Amazing barn
The property is simply amazing in an equally amazing location. We loved the open plan kitchen which worked out well for a large group. The bedrooms are very well kept and extremely comfortable. The hot tub was a highlight especially for kids who enjoyed it throughly and the hosts were gracious and available as and when required. The surroundings are with amazing views with great walks and drives. We would love to be there again! - highly recommended.
