As one of the original 30A communities, Seagrove is the quintessential beach town, blending vast stretches of sugar-white sand with an Old Florida vibe. Gorgeous Gulf-front homes preside over rolling dunes and sea oats while pelicans silently glide by overhead. The incomparable Eastern Lake features paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing, while the Timpoochee Trail makes it easy to cruise through neighboring 30A communities by bicycle. Seagrove Beach, with its laidback feel and uncrowded beach is special to generations of families. Life here is all about sandals, sunglasses, beach chairs, and umbrellas. Very low density, Gated, Three story duplex, 4192 EAST COUNTY HWY. 30A, SEAGROVE FLORIDA 32459, with three porches, 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, swimming pool, and private beach access. Wimaway is less than two miles to Seaside and best if all it is on the south side of 30a.
Wimaway has five bedrooms, four with king size beds and private baths and one bedroom with three twin beds, which also has a private bath. There are three sleeper sofas with great mattresses. The garage has bikes, beach chairs, small umbrellas and a few beach toys. You are welcome to use these. Please report any loss or damage so that they can be replaced or fixed for the next guests. There will be two complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you each morning… There is a tent in the garage that guests are allowed to use. There are balconies off of the four private king bedrooms. The swimming pool for Wimaway is just off of the first floor balcony. Walk about 150 steps and get on the boardwalk which strolls right down to the sand..... easy. This home will pleasantly absorb your group and give you so much time together, but with the space to regroup and refresh for the next day.

Great location on the beach. Plenty of room for our 10 guests. Teens enjoyed the pool area in the evenings. Moms enjoyed the patios. Sugar sand beaches are the best. Definitely recommend.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at Wimaway! The 3 levels in the home is perfect layout for multiple familys and provides plenty of room for everyone. It also provides easy access on each level. The location is perfect, its quiet but has shopping ,eateries and an ice cream shop within walking distance. It is a SHORT walk to the PRIVATE beach which is a huge deal. We did not have to fight for space on the beach as is the case for those in public access areas. This alone makes Wimaway a must stay!
The host Susan is probably the biggest reason to stay here, she is gracious, informative and very quick to respond to any needs that arise. We had an issue at the end of our stay and she was so kind and understanding making this a truly amazing trip for the whole family! Thanks again Susan!

Beautiful and well-appointed home. Amazing property manager who was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. So close a beautiful private beach. The house is stocked with everything you can think of from the kitchen to the garage. Bikes, toys, baby gear.. literally everything. Super comfy beds and lots of room to spread out. We could walk to coffee shop, donuts, ice cream and fresh seafood. WE LOVED IT! We will be back!

Our family of 17, (my husband and I, 3 children and spouses, and 9 grandchildren, 1 yr to 10 yrs) spent a week at Wimaway. Wimaway was delightful and easily accommodated all of us. It really is a great location and has very close, easy beach access.
Susan is wonderful!!! We had a couple issues that needed attention. She responded right away and had repairmen out very quickly. (They were friendly and efficient.) She made sure all was well. Houses have things happen beyond our control and this was one of those situations. We were very impressed with how Susan took care of things and how well she communicated with us....the awesome reviews I read about her were definitely true. .
Our family had a fantastic time.
Several grandchildren kept giving us hugs and saying "Thank you, this is the BEST Christmas present EVER!!!" We definitely would like to return to Wimaway.

The house and location was perfect for our group of 12, five families with teens. House was decently stocked for our needs. Private beach access was awesome!! The owner was having trouble communicating via VRBO during our stay, but otherwise she was wonderful to work with. We would love to book again next year for our last fall break with our seniors!!

Family of 10 enjoyed 6 nights at this property. The space was perfect for our family. The multiple bathrooms were very beneficial after a day on the beach, before dinner out. The beds were great. The kitchen was well stocked. Each level has an exterior door, which is helpful with littles ones that nap & for privacy.

We vacay in this area every year and have stayed at many places. The newly built, older and much of anything in between. This property is a very nicely designed duplex where our crew of 16 had the one side. 4 levels made perfect for all to have privacy from 10 year olds all the way to teens. The pool is like private because this duplex and the one behind share as is the way for all the duplexes. Really nice and incredible water pressure outside showers and hoses by the pool, plus in the home. Ice cold air. The beach is super close with security coded private access. The cherry on top was the private umbrella and wood chairs. This is a private beach so there are just the duplex folks who beach here. High class wooden beach setup meant we carried very little to the beach. Beach is like white flour perfect. Water super clear. Perfect location for going either direction on 30a to Rosemary - we brought electric scooters fun times. Highly recommend this home. The owner was available whenever needed. Oh and I almost forgot the garage is stocked with bikes and it is so convenient. Five stars!!!!!

What an amazing week at Wimaway! The house was large and easily accommodated our family of 14 with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. It’s located inside a gated area so we felt very safe. It’s comfortable, well maintained and very kid friendly. The garage was full of chairs, bikes, sand toys, etc which Susan, the owner, told us we were welcome to use. The house is conveniently located only steps from the beach on the south side of 30A. A big plus for us was this area of the beach is low density, so shared by only a few properties. Additionally, because no one was staying at the adjacent property, we had the semi-private pool all to ourselves. Susan was friendly and very welcoming. She called us on our trip down and told us to call or text if we needed anything. Upon arriving we discovered the AC on one floor was not cooling properly. She immediately responded. Even though it was late in the day, she had a repairman there within the hour. He quickly and efficiently made the necessary repairs. During the week, she texted to see if we needed anything. We all agree that this was our best trip to 30A. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Our small business started an annual company retreat last year and the Wimaway was the PERFECT house for this retreat. The layout of the home is fabulous. The furniture is super comfortable and made time together fabulous. Home has bikes and beach chairs which is a huge perk. We would already have booked for next year if we thought the growth of our company would allow this home to hold the number of team members. It's a wonderful place!

Stay at Wimaway in Seagrove Beach
House was great, area was fantastic, the only issue we had was TV's were not working on two floors all week, and after cable company came, nothing worked.

New Experience
We had three issues that disappointed us. Pump on pool was not working and did not swim in the pool until Tuesday. Tv's did not work until Friday. Internet did not work until Friday as well. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and wanted the trip to be special. Several family members were not happy which put a damper on our week. Thanks!

Great for multiple families
The location was amazing!! The private beach access was great and left the beach area much less crowded. The pool was too cold for us to use and it was shaded all day from the large palm trees around it. There are a LOT of stairs in this home- just in case you have someone who struggles with them. The first floor has a great apartment like level for the teen boys in our group. They had their own den with pullout sofa bed, bedroom/bath, and kitchen. On the second floor was a large bedroom with a bathroom that also serves as the hall bath. Their are tons of windows in the kitchen/den/dining area. Plenty of comfy seating in the den. The kitchen was not well stocked- very few utensils, no pot holders, no blender, etc. The second level balcony has a grill and a view of the pool. On the 3rd floor there are three bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. The Master had a great balcony we used a lot with a great view. The owner was easy to communicate with and accommodating to our needs as they arose. We LOVED our stay and the house was perfect for us and the 13 people who went on this trip.

We had a glorious week with family at Wimaway! Wonderful house and a perfect fit for us. The location couldn’t be better… easy walk to beach, restaurants, ice cream shops & short drive to Publix. Susan Wimmert was delightful and very responsive to any questions. We can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!!!

Great stay at Wimaway
Great stay, the house was perfect for our extended, multi generation family of 14. My elderly parents stayed on the mid level bedroom where the social area is minimizing going up and down the stairs.
The beach is steps from the house and "best in Florida", in our opinion, (and we are from Miami). The bikes and beach supplies available in the garage were a great bonus.
Susan reached out to us to verify everything was in working order, and she was very accommodating, remained in contact for any needs.
Overall, Very happy with our stay, and would recommend without hesitation.

We had the best time! The house was very nice..very close to the beach. The 2 kitchens were great to keep overflow groceries. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious! We would definitely recommend it for large family or friend groups!

Great Condo and Location
Seagrove Beach is beautiful with perfect white sand and clear water. The area is quality all the way and so is the condo. The pool was essentially private although we share only with the people occupying the other half of the condo. We enjoyed the very few times they were in the pool because everyone in this gated area are extremely friendly and personable.
Although I never seek out a gated community, It certainly made us feel totally safe about our equipment which we left outside. The condo is spacious and the beds, bedrooms, and living areas are perfect.

Fabulous beach stay
The house has 3 floors each with a spacious patio/balcony. Well equipped and owner was easy to communicate with. Restaurants within waking distance and nice Publix just a short drive away. Also good walks in nearby protected national forest. Literally steps from a private beach- what more can you ask for?

Great location with plenty of space for the entire family
Wimaway was our best beach stay yet. It's very nicely decorated, and the location is perfect - just a few steps a way from the private beach. It's a great place for our big family - 1 set of grandparents, 3 sets of parents and all the cousins. The kids really enjoyed riding the bikes to the ice cream shop (with adult supervision!) a couple of evenings after dinner. The kitchen is well appointed so "cooking in" was easy, and there was plenty of room for all the family to enjoy our time together.

Lovely rental
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful rental! Walking in on arrival the whole house smelled lemon fresh and clean. You could tell it had been well taken care of even with the threat of the virus.
There were 9 adults, one 10 year old and two one year olds who stayed for a week in this house and It was just perfect! My husband and I and our three kids stayed on the bottom floor which was perfect for us with the small kitchen and pull out couch and bathroom. This house has so much space with large comfortable bedrooms and every family got their own bathroom! It never felt cramped, even with the virus keeping us in the house more than a normal vacation! The dining room table is large and plenty of seating in the living room!
The pool was very convenient with the babies needing a break from the waves. Although it is shared with the other side of the duplex, we never were in the pool at the same time— it felt like a private pool for us only. It was perfect for us (one side is 8feet deep which my 10 year old was excited about) there are trees surrounding it so you get a mix of sun and shade in the pool area! The beach is a short walk (walk past the pool, and one other rental and you are right at the board walk) the stairs down to the sand are a little steep, but none of us had an issue with it! The beach wasn’t crowded and was wonderful that we were able to put our baby tent up and also our 10x10 tent to keep us shaded. The house had lots of pool and beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and even a wagon to use if we needed. Also two little baby pools. There was a high chair and two pack and plays in the house as well that we could have used.
It was so nice to have the owners let us borrow what we needed!
Susan was so easy to get a hold of and checked on us multiple times. She was so nice and helpful! We will definitely want to stay here again— the house was amazing and The location couldn’t be beat. We had a wonderful trip and couldn’t recommend staying here more!
