Overall we had a great time. The downstairs room was musty and damp. No one wanted to stay down there. But the views were amazing, the location was great, the house was clean and Sylvia was fantastic! Thank you for a great week.

This is the property to stay in and leave all your troubles behind! Very well appointed with multiple balconies and a pool. We spent hours outside taking advantage of the balcony fans to keep most mosquitoes away. AC indoors was perfect when we wanted to cool down. The view from the house overlooks Long Bay beach and the surf. Having coffee and staring at the ocean or having drinks and watching the sunset - a great escape from winter!

We had a great week at Villa Sirenetta. The home is lovely with stunning views, very comfortable spaces to gather and relax and a great location above Smuggler's Cove. Driving in the area can be challenging and you definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle and patience but we also enjoyed walking down to the beach -- great working getting back home! Sylvia was the on site manager and was lovely to work with --- personal check in and intro to the house, prompt and friendly response to all our questions and a mid week laundry service and tidying up which was very helpful. The 3 sleeping spaces all have their own bathrooms/private space. The downstairs bedroom suite is accessed outside and is locked up separately so likely not great for children. It was also a bit musty but the dehumidifier that is provided helped. We spent most of our time on the lovely main balcony overlooking the pool and out to the sea. Amenities included use of really nice beach chairs and a good cooler. If you go, I also highly recommend the Surf and Sail shop in the West End. They rented us a paddle board and snorkel equipment for the week, showed us how to use the soft roof rack for transport and then picked all the gear up from the Villa when we were done with it savig us a trip back down the hill. If we return to Tortola, we would likely try to stay at this lovely place again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sirenetta!
It was our first time in the BVI, but we made the right decision, re: location. Our favorite beach in Tortola, Smuggler's Cove, is a ten minute walk down the hill (it's a pretty big hill!). And there are a handful of good restaurants nearby as well.
The pool was clean and gave us a great view, and we spent a ton of time lounging on the upper deck, where the view is even better.
Highly recommended!

We were stuck between places but were able to wait on the back patio while the cleaning was completed. We were able to get in touch with Sylvie for directions to the residence. Once the cleaning was completed, Sylvie gave us a tour explaining the AC, fans and lights. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We did not rent a cat but she gave us the name and number of a cab driver, Eric, who was great. We walked to soper harbor but got a ride from eric back upthe hill. We walked to long bay and to smugglers covea d walked back. It was a trek up but definitely doable. The pool and floaties were really nice. Easy check out.

Beautiful and clean villa, fantastic onsite management and out of this world view. Randy was very helpful and informative prior to our visit and Sylvia was absolutely amazing, ever so helpful during our stay!!! She rescued us when we were lost on our first attempt to locate the villa and led us all the way to Road Town to pick up the rest of our party. She was very detailed when showing us how to turn on fans, AC, etc. She received and put away the provisions we ordered prior to our arrival. We are already starting to plan our next visit!!!
We had two issues, both of which Sylvia went out of her way to help but we feel these could have been avoided.
Apparently Pool filter stops working after power goes off (which happened twice during our stay - “government outage”) which caused pool to become very cloudy. If renters could have been informed of this fact and given access to filter system, we could have turned it back on and not lose two days of pool use.
Cistern pump burned up because it ran when cistern was empty. It would have been nice if cistern had been filled prior to our arrival especially since the area had not had rain for a while.
Other than these, it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend Villa Sirenetta!!!

After a week of sailing and scuba diving Villa Sirenetta was a breath of fresh air. What incredible views! The villa was gorgeous and the bedrooms all private. The villa was stocked with everything you could need. Sylvia greated us, showed us all around and was just a godsend. She picked up provisions for us and even gave us a ride down to the beach when she came to do our midweek cleaning. Picked us up when she was done. She was a joy and made our stay just perfect. We will be back!

Had everything we wanted. 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms (1 is completely separate on the pool level without access from the 1st floor). AC, beach gear, WiFi, and Netflix at night to watch a movie. We purchased groceries on our way to the house but they will get them for you for a fee. We were able to cook meals and eat them on the patio enjoying the beautiful view. You can hear the waves even though the beach is a distance away. In January, the sun is mostly behind the house, not on the pool or lounge chairs. You can catch a little here and there. The roads are crazy but you do get used to it and just hope another car doesn't come the other way. Definitely get 4 wheel drive, something high off the ground. Smuggler's Cove was beautiful and a short drive off the hill and then a dirt road. Several options to take ferries to other islands for the day. We took 2 out of Road Town, 30 minutes away. Free parking. The Sensation to Virgin Gorda combo with trolley to the Baths was well worth it. We stayed mostly on the quieter Devil's Bay. Absolutely beautiful! Do the trail between the 2...more like an obstacle course. Anegada was ok. Nothing excting. Rented a VERY old Jeep. Did some snorkeling; saw the flamingos very far away. Had a really good lunch at the Anegada Beach Club. We also took a snorkel trip with Aristocat to the Needles, Norman Island and Peter Island. That's where we saw the best coral and fish.

I loved waking up to the view every day. Wonderful view, great location (near beaches) and nicely appointed villa. Good size pool and great outdoor space. Nice to have covered patio space. Property manager was extremely helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

The Good. Sylvia and Nigel took good care of the property. Both of them spent a lot of time with us given all of the problems we experienced during our stay. The property is located near two very good beaches. Smugglers Cove and Long Bay. West End is a very nice location.
Needs Improvement. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained. It needed to be drained, refilled, and two days later algae growths reappeared. Able to use 3 days during our stay. The house ran out of water twice. Water pump failure to prime which resulted in loud noises through one night. Dishwasher does not work well. Palm tree resting on roof over second bedroom. Scraping over tiles on windy nights made it difficult to sleep. 1st floor bedroom adjacent to reserve cistern was humid/damp and smelled of mold. Dehumidifier ran constantly over the 7 days with minimal improvement. Although there is a washer and dryer on the property it is not available to the renters as needed. There is a mid week laundry service. A bit concerned that I did not notice smoke detector/alarm in 1st floor bedroom/Living got area.
Property has a lot of potential. Requires routine maintenance.
Inconvenient to make so many phone calls and repair services during our stay. Owner reacted quickly to phone calls. Although, disappointed in the owner's overall response and promise to make things right.

Postcard views!
This property lived up to its listing. Both Randy and Sylvia promptly responded to our many questions. We made the decision to not rent a car and Eric, a local taxi driver recommended by Randy, assisted us all week and had great recommendations. Other highlights were Soper’s Hole, Nigel’s Boom Boom Beach Bar ( don’t be in a hurry-just enjoy), and amazing sunset and food at D’Coal Pot. Highly recommend a stay at Villa Sirenetta!

Fantastic stay at Villa Sirenetta
We had a fantastic visit to Tortola! Villa Sirenetta provided us with everything we needed. The house was very comfortable and equipped well for everything we needed. The house has a perfect set-up for 2-3 couples. Each primary bedroom has a dedicated bathroom and then the third bedroom is a private studio set-up on the lower level. This worked great for us with our older child who was able to stay there by herself, but would not work for a family trying to stay in separate rooms with younger children since the entrance is separate from the rest of the main living house. Because there is a large bed and a futon, plus a lot of extra space in the lower level suite, it does provide enough space for a couple and their children to stay in the same space if needed.
The pool and outdoor lounge space is perfect-plenty of different lounge spots for sun or shade depending on what you are looking for.
Short drive to smuggler's cove where we spent most of our time. And a sunset dinner from Patricia's Beach Bar on smuggler's was delicious, easy, and much less expensive than some of the nearby restaurants.
The only suggestions that might help traveler's to Villa Sirenetta in the future would be having access to the washer/dryer throughout the stay. Laundry was offered midweek when Sylvia did cleaning, but it would have been a bit easier to just do it ourselves when needed and we didn't feel like making Sylvia be responsible for our laundry. Also, some of the unpaved steep narrow roads up the mountain make driving a bit more stessful, so it should be noted that getting to the house is easiest by following Zion road as it is the best paved route there.
Overall a wonderfully located and comfortable house on Tortola!

Private Paradise
The Villa is located on the west end of the island in a tropical private area, facing the ocean, high on a hill. The views are spectacular. The amenities are as promised. We were house bound for the required quarantine of unvaxxed travelers and we loved the quiet beauty. The grocery store delivers and the site manager was so kind and helpful when we had questions. Randy, the owner, was quick to respond any time we had questions, pre-arrival, as well as once we checked in. The service was 5-star and the property was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful house overlooking Long Bay Beach
Our first time to the BVI’s. We had a great trip staying at Villa Sirenetta. The house was just as advertised, clean and spacious with all the utensils you need to cook and plenty of room to spread out. The pool and views were amazing. Leanne and Sylvia were both very helpful both before and throughout our stay helping us get settled in and to navigate all the Covid requirements and changes that evolved. Would definitely stay here again.

February in Tortola
We had a great time at Villa Sirenetta! The house had everything we needed and the view from all of the decks was absolutely amazing. Sylvia was a great on the island resource! I would definitely recommend getting groceries delivered before you arrive for the week. The roads are also VERY rural near the home, with many switchbacks - so just prepare yourself for an adventure!
Thanks for sharing your home with us!

For this first time we did a Bareboat trip and chose to not get on that ferry and leave, but to stay a few extra days. Solid call!House: Very clean, everything works fine. Kitchen and all necessities are in place. The 2 BRs up top are great for parents and younger kids with older kids in BR down by the pool. It givers everyone their "space" and works nicely. The pool and deck areas are in good shape with an amazing view. Granted the pond is not quite as tropical as the bigger view. Communications: Very quick throughout booking process and assisting with Jerry's car rental. Jerry's is awesome to deal with - FYI. Great communications and was on time to the minute both going and coming.Location: The roads on West End Tortola are hit and miss - mix of dirt, gravel and concrete patches. 4x4 is advised, but you can probably do it in a 2wd vehicle. What did we do: Nigel's beach bar just about every day! We ate at Tropical Fusion, Sebastians, Sugar Mill and Tramonti (across from Sugar Mill). All were very good. I would HIGHLY recommend Sugar Mill for "date night" if you are going down as a family (or couples) and looking to escape the kids for a few hours. (just don't leave the toddlers unattended at home. lol)Any negative: No. The only comment would per that the sun doesn't shine much on the pool area during the day. It gets the corners of the deck area for a couple of hours. This is probably a time of the year thing more than anything. I don't think that Leanne can move the Sun for us, so we can't hold that against her! LOLWould we rent again? Absolutely

Beautiful home. Good location. Sylvia was amazing. She went above and beyond during our stay.Hurricane hit the 2nd day we were there and the generator was broken for 2 days. We had to trash the food in the fridge, which was frustrating. We also had to leave the house on those days due to no electric/no AC/no running water for the toilets. I would have loved to relax in the beautiful pool/outdoor patio that this property has to offer.

Incredible!!!
From the time I started searching through our entire stay, I've been nothing short of impressed with the property, the management and the process. Leanne and Sylvia did an incredible job of making us feel welcomed and comfortable with the booking process and making plans during our stay and the property has some of the most impressive views on the island. We rank our trip to Tortola as our #1 vacation we've ever taken and will return in the future for sure! Thanks Leanne and Sylvia - you guys are amazing!!

Home with Everything!
Five over sixty friends found the perfect home for our BVI vacation! Separate bedrooms and bathrooms, we’ll equipped kitchen, outdoor spaces and a pristine pool made Sirenetta our new favorite house in Tortola. To top it all off being welcomed by Sylvia and given a complete tour of the house was so nice!

Amazing Views & Location
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sirenetta! The hospitality we were shown from the moment of booking all the way through our stay was A+! Leanne was incredibly prompt with her response time & Sylvia (our hostess on the island) was helpful throughout the week with quick questions we had about the island, and even came midweek to clean the house & do our laundry. We were traveling with 3 children from ages 3-7 so we searched long & hard for a home with interior entry bedrooms. This home was perfect for that to accommodate our family. We did not end up using the bedroom suite on the lower level although it was quite nice as well. It could easily have accommodated another couple spaciously. Side note: I would not recommend this property for anyone toting around a crawler or toddler as there are many steps up & down to the pool & the railings on all the balconies would not be secure enough for little bodies. : ) Otherwise, my 3 year old was old enough to know to "be careful" & I wouldn't assume anyone older would have an issue with that either! The balcony views overlooked Long Bay & Smugglers Cove. And Smugglers Cove beach (our favorite) was just a quick 5 minute drive down the mountain. Although the island is still noticeably suffering from hurricane damage, a lot of restaurants have re-opened & there was no shortage of things to do. We loved this West End side of the island. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Heaven on Earth
We LOVED our 7-day stay in Tortola at Villa Sirenetta!! The house is impeccably maintained and has everything you could need in a week's stay. Leanne was incredibly helpful and lined us up w/ the best travel routes, as well as answering any questions we had abt island hopping, grocery shopping, car rental, etc. We had a blast and so very happy we stayed at Villa Sirenetta, as opposed to a hotel/resort. The island is getting back on its feet and while many area are still rebuilding, there is plenty of activity, restaurants, and of course the breath-taking beaches.

Return Trip Feb 2019
We returned to Villa Sirenetta this past February. Once again Leanne was super helpful throughout the booking process and quick to respond to all our questions. After the storms we weren’t sure what to expect, but it looked exactly the same. There was a small tree or two missing on the property but besides that everything looked just as it did when we left in 2017. The cable TV is still not working but we barely use the TV and with the internet up and Netflix available, we were able to provide our daughter plenty of shows when needed. Also for anyone who has to travel with access to the office, I had no problem connecting, checking emails and doing a bit of work when required. That said, we spent most of our time at the villa outdoors enjoying the views from the decks and swimming in the crystal clear pool. The island itself although still rebuilding had plenty of options for meals, groceries and things to do. We knew there were limited options in Soper’s Hole, but we still visited for breakfast at D’best Cup. We were happy to see that the Harbor market was well on its way to opening its doors again and the dock barge hard at work. Prior to the trip we used the Rite Way delivery service and had the villa stocked and were able to supplement with a stop or two at the local markets and never needed to make our way to Roadtown and the larger stores. We had fabulous dinners at Sebastian’s, D’coal Pot and Quito’s in Cane Garden Bay, all of which provided waterfront dining and amazing sunset views. When staying in, the grill is great and kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals with no issues. Although the West End ferry from St Thomas was not running, the ferry to Jost Van Dyke still ran from there. We took that over to JVD one day and explored another island, including the famous White Bay. We also spent a day (check for cruise ships) in Cane Garden Bay. On a non-cruise day the bay was really low key and not busy at all if that is a concern to you. All of the restaurants and bars there were up and running. Another day we chartered a boat out of Nanny Cay and spent the day exploring Norman and Peter Islands. However, down the hill from the villa is in our opinion the best beach of all, Smuggler’s Cover. Although the palms are gone (plan on your own shade if needed) the beach itself is just as beautiful. Nigel’s beach bar is there for drinks and some really good hot dogs. We can’t wait to return again next year!

Amazing!!!!
The Villa was amazing, has all the appliances you need, has air conditioning to keep you cool. Amazing views of Long Bay and only a short drive to Smugglers Cove. Sebastions has the best Banana Pancakes. Has a gas grill that we used every night to cook outside. Sylvia the caretaker was amazing, came during the week and cleaned and did the laundry. The island is still rebuilding after the Hurricane but the people are amazingly nice. We rented a car from Big Sexy car rentals he delivered the car to the villa after hours, came right away to fix it when the brakes locked up.
Would stay here again.

Excellent Stay !!
Very nice house that is comfortable and well appointed with everything that you would need for a relaxing beach vacation. Situated a little off the beat and path, you will need a 4x4 to maneuver up the steep hill to get to the house. Once there, the views and sunsets are amazing. The house is very clean with many fans and AC throughout to keep you cool throughout your stay. The pool is fantastic and a great way to relax and watch the sunset.
The island is currently rebuilding and there are many homes without roofs and many stores in Roadtown than remain closed. Our visit was well appreciated from the locals as they rebuild. I urge you to consider a trip Tortola and Villa Sirenta !

Just beautiful!
The property was just as pictured and the views were amazing, with lovely beaches nearby. Leanne, the owner was incredibly responsive and accessible. She went above and beyond to ensure that our our travel plans were seamless and every detail was attended to. The villa itself had everything one could possibly need so packing was very easy.
Yes, the island has suffered great devastation from the hurricanes last fall, but the people there are incredibly resilient and efforts to rebuild are well underway. There is no tv in most places, and the roads are a bit rough, but we were not looking to vacation in a place that was just like home. The beaches and snorkeling are still amazing, and while there are just a handful or restaurants open, we had no trouble finding great food. We had some of our best meals via some of the roadside food huts set up by locals; for anyone interested in experiencing authentic Caribbean cuisine.
The island feels safe and this is a very important aspect for me when I travel, and I don't care for very touristy destinations. This is a place where you can learn about other people and what they are going through. That being said, tourism
is their main industry and in the aftermath of two category 5 hurricanes, they are very welcoming and grateful to see people return to Tortola. For us, being alone or just in the company of a few others on a spectacular beach, knowing we were contributing to the relief effort in some small way, while staying at an incredibly gorgeous villa, made it an absolutely perfect vacation.

Another Amazing Week at Villa Sirenetta
As I drove through Belmont and arrived at Villa Sirenetta for my sixth stay, I felt like I was home again. I knew this year would be different, as the island is still recovering from the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Villa Sirenetta was blessed to be spared major damage.
In the months prior to my arrival, Leanne went above and beyond to keep me informed on island happenings such as significant changes to my travel plans (e.g., taking a ferry from St. Thomas into Road Town because the West End ferry terminal is not open); what restaurants are open; progress on having electricity restored; provisioning; etc. She also made sure everything at the Villa was ready, including the pool and WiFi. Her insight removed any worries I may have had.
You've probably heard the saying "the more things change, the more they stay the same." Yes, you will see damage to buildings. But repairs are being made daily. Trees fell or were stripped of their leaves during the storms. But there is already new growth. While some businesses remain closed, others are reopening all the time. But, as I sat on the upper porch each morning enjoying the sun and a cup of coffee, I found peace in the fact that Villa Sirenetta was still my dream home away from home and no matter how much had changed since my last visit, the view of the beautiful turquoise water was still the same.
Nigel's Beach Bar greets you upon entrance to the always lovely Smuggler's Cove. There's still plenty to do in Cane Garden Bay (this year I rang in my 40th birthday by taking a paddle boarding lesson from Lee, the owner of Breeze Paddle Surf!). Wandering around Road Town you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants with open doors. The BVI is most definitely open for business! The joyous spirit of the people who live and work on Tortola hasn't changed and they will welcome you with open arms. Sit by the Villa's pool and nearby beaches or plan a more action-packed holiday. There's plenty to see and do. And Villa Sirenetta is the perfect home base.
Leanne and Sylvia, thank you for another amazing week. You both went out of your way to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. Sylvia's friendship has come to mean so much over the years and chatting with her is something I always look forward to. I can't thank you enough. Counting down the days until next May! Cheers!
