Experience all that South Haven has to offer with the comforts of home. This newly renovated house sleeps 8 and has a full bath and 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen bed and flat screen TV, the other 2 twin beds. The spacious master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and crib, full bath, flat screen TV and walk in closet. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper and flat screen TV. Cable, DVD, and WIFI are also provided. The dining room table seats 8. Washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen and gas grill are also provided.

Settle in, leave the car behind and take the short walk to South Beach, Kids Corner Park, downtown and more. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views of Lake Michigan from the point at the end of Van Buren Street. Experience biking the Kal Haven trail, jet skiing on Lake Michigan, kayaking on the black river, play the challenging golf courses or sample the wines from local wineries. This is our second time staying at this home, and it is wonderful! It is a perfect location, walkable to downtown, the beach, and the playground. The house has everything that you would need, and it is very accommodating to our 4 children. Would highly recommend!

House was was clean, well organized, and ready for our short stay. More than enough space for three (a larger family would be plenty comfortable). Great neighborhood, quiet, walkable, tree-lined streets. A short stroll from the beach, large playground, pier, river, and downtown—for shops, cafes, and restaurants. We will be back next year!

Mark’s property was perfect for our visit to South Haven with our two children (2 & 4). It’s walking distance to the beach, Kid’s Corner and the town; we rarely drove anywhere. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Definitely a great spot for families. Mark was responsive and easy to work with.

We have stayed here two summers in a row. The house is clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to spread out on rainy days. The kitchen is wonderful for staying in to eat, but the location is perfect for walking downtown for dinner as well. Close to the Van Buren bike trail and the beach, this is the perfect vacation get away for our family!

We had a great stay in Mark's home. Communicating with Mark was so easy from the start. The house was very clean. It was nicely decorated. Because we were traveling with our three-year-old twin granddaughters, we were glad there was not an abundance of knick-knacks to move to higher levels. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location of this house is amazing for families. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is a short walk to Kids' Corner playground, which has been beautifully redone, the beach, and downtown. I would definitely stay here again!!

Our 2nd time staying at the property and we enjoyed even more. House was spotless and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves with 3 small kids. Short walk to the beach or downtown. Michigan Theater is cheaper than a matinee in most places at all times for first run movies. Thank you for sharing your home with us again.

Mark and Linda’s “Haven’s Away” is a lovely home, with all the things! The home is very cozy, it has everything you need for a nice weekend away! The home is very close to the beach and town, but just far enough away from the action to feel relaxed! I would gladly stay in this home again and again!

This is a beautiful and spacious home in an unbelievable location. You are two blocks from the beach and an easy walk into downtown. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your vacation. Most importantly, Mark and Linda were wonderful hosts. We had a few issues that were completely beyond their control, but Mark was incredibly responsive & communicative and did everything he could to resolve the issues. I would definitely recommend this home for a visit to South Haven.

We loved everything about our stay. Rooms are as they appear in the pictures. Bedrooms down are not large but very functional & nice closets with fan if you need extra cooling. Air conditioning worked well. Upstair’s bed room is huge with bathroom & large walk in closet! Extra things for beach & backyard very helpful! We enjoyed the fire ring in the evenings. Loved short walk to beach & walk to downtown! Close enough but not so close as to cause parking issues. Nice quiet neighborhood! Accessible hosts either by text, phone call or emails! Definitely recommend!

We try to spend a week in South Haven every summer, and this year our stay was perfect! We loved being walking distance to the beach and to shopping and dining downtown. The house was so clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and the perfect size for our family. We loved how close it was to the beach and downtown so could walk everywhere. There were lots of games, a beach wagon and a fully stocked kitchen for eating in.

This is our second trip to South Haven! We enjoyed this location because it was clean, spacious, and close to the beach and kids corner. The beach supplies In the garage were very helpful! One of those supplies was a wagon. Our kids enjoyed the wagon ride to the beach and kids corner every day. We will definitely stay at this property again!

We had a great time! The house was the perfect size and location was fantastic! We could easily walk to downtown, the beach and the kids korner playground. It had lots of space for our family of four. The extra bedroom upstairs was perfect when mom or dad needed a break mid-day :) Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was extremely clean and updated. It is in a perfect location just .5 miles from the beach and .5 miles to downtown with extremely nice and welcoming neighbors. We had our 4 kids (ages 1-6), and it was very family friendly with games and a crib/high chair. Mark and Linda made everything extremely easy, and they were very easy to get in contact with! I would highly recommend staying at this home to enjoy South Haven!

This place is in a perfect location to walk to beach and downtown. Very clean with a spacious kitchen area/TV area. They have it stocked with a lot of amenities for the beach and enjoying the backyard. The hosts are very responsive.

We loved our experience at 216 VanBuren St! We have been coming to SH every year for over a decade and this by far has been our best location! We had a huge family vacation scheduled for the Outer Banks in early June. My husband was in a serious work related accident mid May and that vacation had to be cancelled. The vacation was to be a celebration of our 35 year old Down Syndromes daughters recent hip replacement. She struggled with pain and walking for several years… so walking and running on the beach was her goal. We were shocked to be able to reserve Labor Day weekend at South Haven to take the place of our Outer Banks trip. We recorded her running on the beach. Loved being able to walk to both the beach and town! Our stay was amazing !

This place worked out well for our multi-generation family. We found the house to be clean and accommodating to our needs. The kitchen and bathrooms were well furnished with everything you need. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable and practical. It was a plus to have TV's in two of the bedrooms as well as the living room. Liked the long white dining table for meals and games. Appreciated having driveway parking and access to the garage where a beach wagon, beach chairs and toys were available and put to good use by us. The location of this home is great. We were within walking distance to the beach and town. Would like to return.

This is our 2nd time staying at this beach house. We love the location and that we can walk into town. We usually have too much stuff to walk to the lake, but it is definitely walkable! The house has everything you need to enjoy a week away. We enjoyed the grill and private patio/backyard!
