About this house rental

Located just 1 minute from the boat dock. It boasts a huge front deck with sweeping views of the mountains partial of beautiful Lake Oroville. Perfect lay out for family getaways. Beautiful pool with rock waterfall in the private yard.

This home is fully accessible to our guest.

We have one neighbor with connected driveway. The neighbors drive way is not to be used. We also own the empty lot next door so there is plenty of parking. HOA

Approx 1/2 mile to nearest bus station and 1 mile from gas station, food spots and Dollar General for quick items needed.

Not shown in the pictures is the newly updated backyard to include hot tub, artificial grass, lounge chairs, table with 4 bar stools and new propane 5 burner grill. Must be minimum age 28 to rent.
Minimum age for Rental is 28

We require (not an option) a property damage insurance on all of our rentals. We use a third party insurance carrier that is currently used on the other vacation home rental websites and is automatically factored in the price on those websites. This insurance is $99 (non-refundable) with property damage coverage up to $5000. The nightly price is higher than other vacation website to pay for the insurance. PETS - Pets are allowed ONLY if approved by the owners. If approved there will be an additional $100 non-refundable fee attached to an additional $400 pet deposit for a total of $500.

All major holidays are a 3 night minimum. Memorial Day, CSU Graduation, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Years. Have a question, ask. We respond quickly. Thank you.

The house and location are both wonderful. The backyard is gorgeous and well maintained. The garage has a ping pong table and dart board which were perfect for our family vacation. I would say it is more accurate that the house sleeps 10. We were able to use a couple of air beds for additional sleeping. We had questions upon arrival and Jacob was immediately available and extremely helpful andnd accommodating. Follow Jacob’s advice regarding the driveway. Overall a great home for our family’s boating vacation.

We had a great time. We had a bunch of people together for a wedding and it was perfect! The kids enjoyed the pool and the front deck was great for coffee with a view. The owner, Jacob was very responsive and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful views and pool. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of room for all to spread out. Jacob was very accommodating with all my questions and was available at all times. Our granddaughter had a wonderful graduation. Highly recommend.

The home has gorgeous views of lake and great for quiet relaxation. It has everything you need to prepare meals at home and finish the evening with a swim, ping ping, darts, or games around the living room table. We enjoyed celebrating 32 years of marriage with our adult kids that travelled to meet and enjoy family time.

We had a small bridal shower at the property and it had everything we needed for a fun weekend- pool, hot tub, lake views, ping pong table, and dart board! Great deck, backyard, and large kitchen a living room- perfect for entertaining. I would highly recommend staying here :)

Property was clean, spacious, adequately supplied, and a lovely home. Even the Christmas tree was lit when we arrived! Family enjoyed their time reconnecting, sharing food and nightly rest.

We loved the house. The pool was great for the kids. There were a couple of issues when we checked in, but Jacob was was so quick to respond and very nice. It was to bad the water in the lake was not visible, but that is not a problem.

This home is perfectly situated to accommodate any group type - families w/ kids, adult friends, couples. Lots of space to spread out & not be on top of each other. The pool, hot tub & deck all make great use of the outdoor space. Super close to the lake w/ great views. Easy to get into town to enjoy some of the local restaurants (check out Ethan's Eatery for breakfast!). House is very clean and has all the amenities you'd need. Jacob was clear in communication on house access & even offer early check in/late check out without it being requested. We're looking at our calendar to see when we can come back!

Jacob was one of the easiest and most communicative hosts I have ever had. It made the entire process very easy and more enjoyable. The lake level is really low right now, but the views and driving around the region are still very nice. Our only two complaints were that some supplies were missing or extremely low (wood pellets, dish soap, laundry detergent), and that some of the furnishings and appliances need updating, because they either didn't work too well (dishwasher) or were uncomfortable (futons, queen beds). But overall, it was a very nice stay and great place to spend the weekend with friends.

We have stayed in the past. The flooring and furnishings were nicely updated since our last stay. We enjoyed having a larger dining table and more seating throughout the property. The pool was wonderful. Nice and cool during the 103 degree temps. We are looking forward to staying again.

One of the best

One of the best

Myself and some friends traveled up from San Francisco to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have chosen a better home. It was spacious, had beautiful views (lots of wild deer!), a gorgeous pool, hot tub, and game room. We did get one—well warranted—noise complaint from a neighbor, but the host and I were able to quickly and respectfully resolve it. You will not regret staying here!

It was my sister and niece birthday and we just needed some fun and relaxing family time that was definitely achieved!!! Beautiful property and we enjoyed every amenity. One major suggestion is bring and SUV or higher vehicle to get up the driveway otherwise just go up at an angle and be careful. We had a blast and would definitely book again!

Upon arrival on Wednesday at 5:30pm, (check in was anytime after 4) my family and I arrived to the lovely lake house and are sure to not park or enter the incorrect driveway. I was greeted by “the neighbor”, directing me to take the trash receptacles up, “they make his house ugly”. The house, the amenities etc were fabulous.

We had a really fun weekend here. Great outdoor space in back and huuuge deck. We loved the hot tub and dunking in the pool in the winter weather. Great hang out space on two floors. And Jacob was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful. We hope to be back!

We had a great time at this home. What the listing pics don’t show is a larger dining room table, and a very comfortable upstairs living room sectional couch. If you are headed to the lake, you just can’t beat this location. The driveway is a bit challenging, but once you get the approach angle right, you are good to go. Master bedroom and bath are quite spacious, and the bed, while a bit noisy, is comfortable. This is a hard find in rental homes! Downstairs living area has a TV, but we discovered that we would have preferred it upstairs to go along with the comfy sectional. The pool and hot tub were very clean, and even with high temps outside, the pool remained quite cool, which was very nice. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook dinners every night. With just a 5 min drive to the grocery store, and Oroville Tacos, we wanted for nothing. Outdoor seating for dinners was comfortable. When lake levels are up, I bet the view would be amazing. Overall, an excellent stay, and we would come back for sure.
