This was the perfect house for my husband and adult children/spouse for the week. The beach is right out the back door, the pool has shade and sun and is elevated, so when at the pool we still felt like we were right on the beach. There were plenty of inside space, although we spent most of our time outside. Some cabinetry was dated, but overall so clean and friendly, we would recommend to anyone! And Grace Bay is beyond words, gorgeous.

We loved staying here. The property is so gorgeous and the four bedroom four baths were perfect for the nine of us. Carrie was amazing onsite and so helpful. I highly recommend this property.

The house and our trip were fabulous. So spacious and lovely. The deck/pool furniture was brand new as well as the grill. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing I wish had been there or I had thought to bring with us was binoculars to look out at the waves beyond the reef. We loved how private the pool and beach area were. Restaurants were a short drive away. We were fortunate that it wasn't too hot so we didn't have to use the A/C or we would have gone over the allotted power usage. We would love to stay there again in the future.

The views were amazing, the house was fabulous - clean, maintained, well stocked, private yet close to restaurants and grocery stores, the beds were comfortable and the communication with the owner and property manager was super easy.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Girls trip in paradise
This was our 3rd trip to Turks. You can not beat the location of this house. We loved being able to walk to restaurants at the marina. Magnolias is not to be missed.
It was like having our own private beach. Everywhere you looked there were views of the ocean ,from the pool, inside the house.
The house was comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. Highly recommend it.

Turtle Cove
Host was very responsive and prompt in answering all questions. The on-site caretaker was excellent. There was a problem with the air conditioner in one room and there was a crew repairing the problem immediately – on Easter Sunday! Bravo!

Seclusion and privacy
This is the 2nd or 3rd time we have stayed here and love the fact that it is far away from all the general tourists and hotels. It felt like our own private beach. The walking distance to the marina was very nice for meals if we wanted. Location was perfect for us. We will be back again.

Great Week at Bella Sur Mer
We had a wonderful time at Bella Sur Mer. My wife and I stayed there for a week with three teenagers. Upon arrival the house was immaculate.
The location is incredible. The property affords amazing views of Grace Bay from the large kitchen and living room. The unique characteristic of this property is that it is right on the beach, yet it has a sizable yard that offers you privacy from any beachgoers. You enjoy privacy at the pool and in the home but can walk right out to the water and snorkel. Many of the other homes in the area are directly on the beach. The outdoor space is fantastic. The water is calm and crystal clear. The snorkeling in front of the house is great. We enjoyed swimming with sea turtles and all manner of fish right in front of the house. We grilled and ate dinner at the pool nearly every night.
The kitchen was clean, well-stocked, and ready to be used. The bathrooms were immaculate. The beds were all fairly firm and comfortable. The four bedrooms, one of which has four twin beds, were quite comfortable for our family.
Both the owner and the local caretaker were attentive to all of our inquiries and were very easy to work with. We would be happy to work with them again.
I have noticed that some of the previous reviews have mentioned negative things about the kitchen and pool. Our opinion is that these criticisms are overblown and the location of this house clearly makes up for any shortcomings there. Essentially, the situation is this. This house is not brand new. So, it does not have the ultramodern "marble and clean lines" look of some of the newer properties in the neighborhood. However, the design of the kitchen has a clearly intentional and charming "simple beach vibe" to it and the kitchen was very clean and usable when we arrived. The pool has some minor paint chipping, but nothing too noteworthy. We enjoyed dinner at the pool looking out onto Grace Bay nearly every night. Our opinion is that none of these minor shortcomings are things that you should worry about in comparison to the amazing location and outdoor space at this home. If you are traveling to Providenciales with a group or family to spend your time outside, on the beach, and in the ocean, then this is the perfect place. We would happily stay there again.

Great house on a fabulous beach
I rented Bella Sur Met for my 50th birthday at the end of June. Family and friends joined me and we had a great week! The house is great, exactly as advertised, Carrie is a gem who made us welcome and who was very helpful and sweet. The pool, outdoor area by the pool and the beach all made the trip. It was all just gorgeous. I got to snorkel right off the beach and it is a perfect Caribbean beach. The neighborhood was great and the marina area was very handy for restaurants, especially on the first night when we were all getting settled. If you want a great house on a gorgeous beach and with very nice people taking care of the house and any questions you may have when you are, this house is for you!

Our stay
The property was rated as 5 star and recently renovated. Here are facts july 2021. Furnishings are fine. Kitchen is very dated and dishwasher barely functional. WiFi is horrid and does not get to pool. A simple extender would go a long way. Tv channels are equally limited. Pool deck in disrepair. Beach chairs a hodgepodge of Kmart. The ac in main living area did not comfortably cool during the day. There were worms everywhere inside the home. The property is 4 miles from all the resorts and most high end restaurants. That is a 40 dollar cab ride each way! Finally, when we arrived we were instructed that we were responsible for excess electric use. No idea how to predict that given we just used ac tv and basic phone chargers. For a 5 night stay that added 370 dollars to the cost. Not sure where that was described upfront and pretty absurd given need for ac , esp for ac that is sub par. Plumbing is old and toilets on lower level are so loud that they awaken sleeping people. House is a 3.5 star experience at best. I own my own ocean front rental in us. I know it is hard to keep up. The view is lovely as is the island. Won’t be back..,,,,,,

Perfect vacation
My family had a great time! I was hesitant as I am used to staying in a resort but this was perfect for our group. Hanging by the pool, snorkel right off the beach, restaurants in walking distance! and our tour boats picked us up right outside the house on our beach! Owner and caretaker answered all our questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous views, Ideally located
Bella Sur Mer's location and views are amazing. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, but within walking distance to excellent restaurants, which was ideal for groups traveling with younger children. The view of the turquoise waters from the house is unbelievable, truly the most beautiful water. A top snorkeling spot is easily accessed from the beach, we saw sting rays, turtles and lots of tropical fish, there is a paddle board that the kids loved using as well. When the children needed a break from the beach, we loved having the pool with lots of cover for shade. Carrie the housekeeper is very nice and helpful.

Unbelievable Vacation!
There were 7 of us total in our group (4 adults and 3 children) and the home was perfect with room to spare! The interior of the home was beautiful, very clean and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning! The views from the living space were spectacular and truly took our breath away every time we woke up in the morning or came back to the house from a day out. The pool was great, especially for the kids when they needed a break from the ocean, which was only a few steps past the pool. On our second day there while sitting on the private lounge chairs at the beach we saw a dolphin swim right by us! The snorkeling was great right in front of the house and to the left a bit. The kids saw a stingray gliding past them! We love to explore and try the local cuisine when we travel, and the food on this island was amazing. We enjoyed Bugaloos, Turks Kebab, Somewhere, Da Conch Shack and Shark Bite, to name a few. (would love to try Coco Bistro next time). We also stayed at the house a few nights and grilled outside on the deck while the kids swam. We booked an all day excursion through Caicos Adventures and it was so much fun. Overall, we could not have picked a better island or home to rent for our stay. Debbi (owner) and Carrie (property mgr) were very easy to work with and we could tell that they take great pride in this home. Thank you Debbi!

Beautiful beach!
Fantastic home on a beautiful beach! We loved the excellent snorkeling and the location of the house. It is next to a public beach access, but during our stay, you would never know it was a public beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool is a nice alternative to time on the beach. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We only left the house to go grocery shopping (very close) and out for dinner three nights. I would definitely return to Bella Sur Mer!

Wonderful house and location
We had such a wonderful time in this lovely house. There is so much room for everyone and the private pool was such a treat. The beach is lovely. The location is great. Both the caretaker and the manager were so helpful. Would live to go back.

Wonderful Family Vacation!
Our family of ten had a fabulous time at Bella Sur Mer! Plenty of room for everyone! The property was quite large with plenty of opportunities to experience the beauty God has given us. Whether hanging out by the pool, stepping right onto your own beachfront or relaxing under the shady hut, you can't ask for more! Fantastic snorkeling in your backyard too. There are previous reviews that mention the house being outdated, which we disagree with. We felt the price reflected the level of luxury and we were satisfied with the accommodations. It is true that the main living area and kitchen are the warmest rooms in the home. But the A/C system worked well and we were comfortable the whole week. Make sure you understand about the fee for excess power usage. This was not an issue for us because we tried to stay aware of adjusting the A/C as needed, not running it 24/7.
Carrie the housekeeper was a delight. Very thorough and even did a light cleaning mid-week. She takes care of the home as if it's hers and treats you like royalty.
If you want easy access to Grace Bay but don't want to be in the crowds, this location is PERFECT! The grocery store is just down the street which was nice but get ready to pay big bucks for everything. Whew. We did bring frozen meat from home and cooked a few nights. We also bought fresh fish from the market and grilled it on the back deck. There are many nice places to eat, but if you are looking for a fun, casual family experience, check out Da Conch Shack on Wednesdays when they have live music. You'll want to make reservations. We went home before the Thursday beach fish fry and were disappointed to miss that.
All of our boating excursions were booked with Island Vibes and they pick you up just down from the house at Bight Park. You could walk there but we drove.
Our family enjoyed our stay at Bella Sur Mer and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Debbi for sharing your home.

Outstanding Beach House
This beach house was the perfect set-up for our group of ten. We had three couples and four teenaged high school senior girls. The bedroom set-up was perfect. The beach was amazingly beautiful. The most beautiful beach of any of the Caribbean destinations we have been to. We snorkeled two to three times a day in front of the house or just a short swim down. There were times during the day in which we were the only people on the beach for several blocks at least. The privacy around the pool and home is done very well. We really enjoyed the pool and sitting area. We walked to the marina three times for dinner. Each direction of walking on the beach offers something different. Carrie the house manager greeted us upon arrival, came half way through the trip and did a deep clean even though the house didn’t even need it! She also was there to give us a hug goodbye when we left. We had paddle boards dropped off which was also a big hit and spent one morning on Ocean Vibes (also recommend) catamaran, which we boarded about a half hour down the beach (walking wise – some of us walked for the cruise and some of us rode in our rental vehicle). There is also a fun rooftop bar called Somewhere we walked to down the beach. But most of the time we just wanted to be snorkeling, lying under the tiki hut on the beach or around the pool. I highly recommend this beautiful beach home.

Perfect location, lots of room, got our money's worth!
We had a great stay at Bella Sur Mer. This house is well located near the marina at Turtle's Cove and down the street from the Bight Park and their Thursday night fish fry happening. We did several activities where boats needed to pick us up. We just walked down the beach to Bight and had them pick us up there (as opposed to having to go to a resort).
It's a beach house, very comfortable, but not fancy. Skinny spiral staircase is the only inside access to the 2 walkout downstairs bedrooms, bit tricky, but there's also an outside access door. Several comfortable couches upstairs, one downstairs, lots of comfortable chairs. Dining table seats 6 comfortably. Our group was 6 adults but there's room for more.
Kitchen had plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, coffee mugs, wine glasses, highball glasses, water glasses, plastic drink glasses for the pool area. All appliances worked well.
It was 84 degrees days, 80 degrees nights. ACs worked well in the bedrooms, well enough in the livingroom/kitchen area during the hottest part of the day. All rooms had fans as well.
We had one issue with a broken light switch. Caretaker was notified, electrician replaced it the next day. Excellent response.
Pool area was great, pool was clean, lounge chairs there and a few feet away at the beach itself. We ate some meals at the table and chairs for 6 at the pool area.
There is public beach access between this property and the one next door. We never had problems with this or people parking on the street in front of the property and blocking our drive. It does mean that people tend to set up on the beach near that access point but wasn't ever a problem for us.
And the snorkling directly out from this house is awesome. It's a wonderful white sand beach with a slow sandy drop-off to the deeper water. The reef is about 100 yards out from the beach. Every day we saw sea turtles, lots of fish, even some eagle rays.
If this could have been better I'm not sure how.

Thank you for an unforgettable family vacation!
My family of 5 along with another family of five recently returned from a seven-day stay at Bella Ser Mur. We found that the house was plenty big for the ten of us, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. It did get a little hot during the heat of the day, and we found it hard to cool the great room especially since we were trying to conserve our 500 kilowatt energy allowance, however we managed to stay comfortable and didn't spend much time in the house during the day anyways. The beds were comfortable with ample bedding and pillows, the house manager was helpful and helped us with all of our questions and was prompt upon our arrival, we absolutely loved the pool area with access to the gas grill, and the tiki hut with Beach loungers. In fact we spent most of our days out there. The community was very nice and it was only a short walk to some very good restaurants. We found the beaches to not be very crowded during our entire stay even though we were located quite close to the public access. There was ample Security in our neighborhood and we felt completely safe to walk everywhere we went, and we even walk to the Thursday night Island fish fry along the beach. My only complaint is the house is a bit dated understandably from the recent hurricanes, and I wouldn't call the kitchen fully stocked, it was missing smaller things, yet things that are crucial for cooking (measuring cups, baking dishes, etc.). It also would have been nice to have some portable ice chests or insulated bags that we could have taken with us down to the beach or pool area, and on day trips when we explored other parts of the island especially since we had to bring our own snorkel gear. All in all the beauty of the island surpassed my expectations and we made some unforgettable memories.

Beach paradise
We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for the 4 couples on our trip. The beach is sandy (not a lot of rocks or seaweed) and the water mesmerizing. Everyone loved the proximity to good snorkeling spots. There’s really not much need to leave the villa. It is next to public beach access but this was not problematic for us. In fact, we loved not being in crowded resort areas. The pool and beach is hard to beat. The views are breathtaking. We look forward to vacationing here again.

Perfect getaway in paradise
This place is a gem. Perfect beach location with Smiths reef just steps away. We loved the pool and the house was spacious enough for our party of 7. Mango Reef restaurant at the marina is also a short walk away. We went many times and made friends with the staff- it was great for my daughter who has multiple food allergies. I don't want to enthuse too much- or it will be booked out constantly and we won't be able to return. Perfect piece of paradise.

Beautiful spot, poorly located near public beach access way. Large enough villa but bare minimum
Bella Sur Mer: TURKS VILLA REVIEW - “Not a good value, extreme disappointment “
There is a local brewery on Turks and Caicos that make a beer
called “I Ain Ga Lie”’ it is pretty good and affordable. However when it comes to Bella Sur Mer in the Turtle Cove area of Providenciales,“I Ain Ga Lie”, we were incredibly disappointed. We wanted this to be a special family vacation since it had been over a year since we went away as a family and we were also celebrating a milestone birthday. When you spend over 1000.00 per day to rent your own place, you want/expect it to have the necessary accoutrements that make living away from home manageable and enjoyable.
The cottage itself is fine although it really has the bare minimum for families with children. No beach or sand toys, no paddle boards or rafts. No real games to speak of. The pool is tiny and looks far bigger in the pictures. It is also freezing! No heater, and virtually unusable especially on a windy day which we encountered every day , or when the pool is shaded. My hardy seven year old from New England was too cold when he got into the pool and we never used it. The swimming beetles and bees in the pool didn’t help either. Neither did the fact that the pool guy came once in the span of 10 days. The lack of a heater for the pool was not mentioned on VRBO’s site.
The house abuts a public walkway to the beach( never mentioned on the site) so not onIy is it loud but we had to contend with people smoking in front of our “private” area and on more than one occasion we had to kick people out of our “private”chaise chairs. The owners description of the villa makes it sound totally private but that was not our experience. The neighbors had 6-8 teens and college kids blasting music and partying late into the night, waking up my 7 year old and keeping us up on more than one occasion. Again, not relaxing!
The views from the second floor are fantastic. But again when it comes to making things easy for yourself when on vacation , the villa did not fulfill its promise. The washer and dryer for laundry is outside of the house and down a flight of stairs. You need a separate key just to access it. How is this convenient for a family of 5? Again, no mention of this on the website. The downstairs bedrooms are moldy smelling and dated. The website listing states that there are games and a DVD/CD player at the Villa. Nope. Unless you consider a few jigsaw puzzles and an ihome the equivalent...we lost power

Idyllic Setting
Sitting under the covered area by the pool overlooking the incredible green waters of lower Grace Bay is amazing! The whole week we were there, a refreshing breeze blew through the pool area and on the beach which is steps away from the pool. The house suited our needs well as we wanted king beds in the bedrooms. The house is comfortable with plenty of living space. Debbi, the owner, is very responsive and the caretaker of the house does an incredible job cleaning! There was even a midweek cleaning, but as we had two babies, it was a bit inconvenient as we felt we needed to vacant the house. We were informed that there is a stringent limit on the amount of electricity that one is allowed for the week. We were able to keep the bedrooms comfortable at night but the house got extremely hot during the day in spite of opening windows and using the fans present. There is plenty of seating but I'd say the furnishings and defects in the tile flooring should be updated. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance but having a car to explore the island is recommended.

Great Location for Cottage on the Beach
It is a great location for snorkeling, it is away from the crowds and it is close to the marina with a few good restaurants. The pool and beach areas were nice and each had an area with shade. The home had a cottage feel with good space, but it was a little dated. It worked great for my group that usually enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the house and dinner out.

Beautiful location
Just got back from a 4 night stay. There were 4 couples traveling, so each had a bedroom and bathroom. There was a problem with one of the toilets the first day, but Carrie, the caretaker made sure it was taken care of. The house isn't as luxurious/new as some others that are higher priced, but there are plenty of places to sit inside and outside and has plenty of kitchen items and outdoor grill for cooking. We did spend most of our time outdoors, either at the pool or beach directly in front. We walked to Turtle Cove every night for dinner. Villa is close to grocery shopping and about a 10-15 minute drive to other resorts.

Perfect location for a family vacation
We rented Bella Sur Mer to celebrate anniversaries and a kid's birthday, and it was the perfect property for our needs. This was my third trip to Providenciales, and each trip has been on the western side of Grace Bay. This is the furthest west, and while it was too much to easily walk along the beach to our favorite restaurant Somewhere, having Turtle Cove in walking distance gave us access to great dining options.
The pool area was great for our young kids, and having a sheltered part of the pool deck was nice for those who didn't want to be out in the sun all day. And the ocean in front of the house is tremendous. Instead of spending money on a snorkel tour, we bought snorkel equipment before flying down and had a beautiful reef right in front of the house.
Regarding previous comments about construction and a lack of A/C in the living room, the massive house next to Bella Sur Mer is complete, and there is now an A/C unit installed. We might have used it once, as opening the windows and using the fans was more than sufficient to keep the upstairs cool.

Hope to come back
Came here with my family for one week and the view from the home blew us all away!! Though the house is somewhat dated it met all our expectations and beyond. It's close to several restaurant which we dined many nights. We used the pool every day and moved to the beach later in the day. It was fabulous to have both at our disposal We hope to return again next year. This is our 4th trip to Providenciales. Best place we've stayed. Thanks Debbie for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home

Great Experience at Bella Sur Mer
This villa was just perfect space-wise for our two families (3 couples, 2 teenagers). The landscaping is very lush with lots of colorful flowers, and the pool area is fantastic, perfect for hanging out especially at night. The views of the water from the house are stunningly beautiful, and it was a very short walk down to the beach. Smith's Reef is directly in front of the house and extends to both sides, so we were able to easily snorkel whenever we wanted. The inside of the house is very pretty and clean, with two bedrooms upstairs and two below, and everything we needed such as towels, kitchen items, even bug spray and sunscreens were provided. The caretaker Cari met us at the house upon arrival, made sure we were oriented and settled in, called to check on us part-way through, and did some light cleaning one morning. Turtle Cove Marina is a five-minute walk, with restaurants Sharkbites, Tiki Hut, and Mango Reef (the best). While the villa is a little distance from the resorts and other eating places, all were within a short drive, and a well-stocked IGA grocery store is less than a mile away. We really enjoyed our shopping at the Saltmills and Regent Village.
We had a wonderful half-day private snorkeling tour with Island Vibes, and they arranged a spur-of-the-moment parasailing experience for us that same afternoon.
Back to the villa: unfortunately only the bedrooms have air conditioning, and the main areas during the middle of the day became unbearably hot (we were there the end of July, which of course is the off-season with higher temperatures). A posting from the owner says there are plans to install AC there soon. It's truly a wonderful villa with a great location, and with more AC added, we would definitely consider coming back!

My fiancé and I just spent our pre-Wedding honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands at a villa Bella Sur Mer. It was the perfect location to regroup and relax from the stresses of wedding planning. The house was in a beautiful location only a few steps away from the beach and Smith's reef. Snorkeling has never been so easy or convenient with it being just steps from your back door. The house has a private sun hut on the beach that is perfect for sunbathing or if a little shade is needed. It helps make the perfect day at the beach. Another great thing about this house is the private pool with a spectacular view of the ocean and perfectly placed gazebo located over the pool which allows for shade in half of the pool in the late afternoons. The landscaping is great and was home to around one hundred little yellow butterflies. It was beautiful. Besides being located right on the beach it is was just a short walk to Turtle Cove Marina where there are several good restaurants and a coffee shop. Overall entire villa was able to provide a quiet beach and pool day, with only a short walk to some fun night life. We came back rested, tan and relaxed.

Bella Sur Mer is situated in the perfect location on Providenciales. The villa is just a few steps from the white sand beach and clear blue water of Grace Bay. Smith's Reef is directly in front, offering spectacular snorkeling. Turtle Cove Marina is a short stroll away and offers several restaurants, fishing charters, car rentals, and excursions.
The villa was spotlessly clean and neat for our arrival and the view of the ocean and the reef from the house immediately gets your full attention. The pool and gazebo also boast a jaw-dropping view and were sparkling clean and tidy. The pool area is well designed to offer either sunny or shady lounging and part of the pool is shady in the afternoon. The landscaping is lush and we constantly heard the chirping of many resident birds.
There is a construction site next door and the noise that accompanies building activities is, of course, unavoidable. The workmen did not start before 8 am and stopped at a reasonable time in the afternoon. Although the sounds of saws and drills and hammers are required, there was no loud blaring music or excessive yelling during the workday. We commend the workers for being as considerate as possible.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Bella Sur Mer and found the villa to be fully equipped and a great place to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. We really hated to leave and we will surely return.

We stayed at this villa for ten days in Feb. There were four couples. It is definately a place we would go back to. The caretaker was very accomodating in every way. The villa itself was very clean and well maintained. The owners and caretaker took care of our every need. The pool was clean and very inviting and having the ocean within a short walk seemed like having two pools. The beach was clean and not crowded at all. Snorkling off of the shore was very good too. It was nice to be able to walk to the restaurants in the marina. The Green Bean and the Tiki Hut were our favorites. We only rented a car for one day to see the rest of the island and to do shopping. I would recommend this villa to anyone.

Our family just returned from the Villa---our 4th visit over the past 5 years. It's great for adults and kids. The pool and beach are simply hard to beat and the accommodations are comfortable and relaxing! I love being able to walk from the main floor (2nd level) of the home onto the walkway straight to the pool. The pool overlooks the ocean so you can enjoy the view of the water even while at the pool--or walk straight to the beach for a ocean swim or snorkeling. The beach is quiet and private and few homes are directly on the beach!! We can walk on the beach to the various hotel restaurants or wander into the marina area. The Villa has a full kitchen, large living and dining areas and comfortable bedrooms. We will be back.

There was a significant misrepresentation in the listing of this property and a very important fact was omitted. Had we been aware of either one, we never would have rented the property.
First the omission: There is a very significant construction site within 30 yards of the house (closer than the pool). It was unacceptable that it was not mentioned either in the listing or when we first contacted the owner. We did not want to waste our precious family vacation time and savings at a construction site.
Second, listed as an amenity in this house is "air conditioning". This statement is a goss misrepresentation. There is NO AC in the living area of the house and on the first day we arrived the daytime temperature INSIDE THE HOUSE reached 95 DEGREES! This made the place uninhabitable. In fact 2 members of the family had to go outside because they felt faint while inside. In all but one of the bedrooms, there are undersized , outdated, barely functioning air conditioners. Only one was able to keep the bedroom cool but was not powerful enough to cool the adjacent bathroom as well.
After one day, we could not take it any more. Our vacation was too precious to waste. We hastily found alternative accommodations and moved out.
We contacted the owner who responded that others had liked the house. She had no answer for the terrible misrepresentation about the AC or the fact that she conveniently forgot she had an active construction site immediately adjacent to the home.
We made repeated requests for her to discuss a reasonable partial refund. She failed to acknowledge us. So we are left with having to pay twice for our vacation and having the home owner enjoying a windfall after deceiving us.

Bella Sur Mer was perfect for our group (4 married couples and 1 child). We loved the location away from the resorts and walking distance to Turtle Cove restaurants (Tiki Hut and Green Bean were our favorites) and activities(snorkel/dive tours). Some of us walked down the beach to the Gaansevort hotel for yoga each morning, while some just enjoyed coffee and reading by the pool. Another day some people went on an Island Vibes snorkel tour and were dropped off on the beach in front of the house at the end of the day. The pool/beach combination could not have been better. The pool was clean (literally cleaned just before we arrived) and provided ample sun, shade and seating for everyone to be able to spend the whole day out there if they chose. The beach was another 50ft down the path if you preferred the sand and surf. The proximity of Smith's Reef snorkeling (walk onto the beach and swim straight out) provided a nice easy mid-day activity for those that were interested. The furnishings were comfortable and the house had a great 'beachy' feel. Tradewinds kept the house cool but there were A/C units in the bedrooms for those that liked to sleep with it on. The caretaker was extremely helpful and accommodative. We had her over three times to watch our 1yr old during the heat of the day so the adults could be out in the sun and she also did mid-stay cleanings which were very helpful and arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport. Due to the size of our group, most meals were cooked at the house, which the kitchen and new grill more than adequately accomodated. All in all we feel we made a great choice and are just hoping we have an opportunity to return in the not-too-distant future!
