Thought restaurant experience could be updated

Great location right on the beach. Restaurant on the premises was good.
The hotel and rooms are a bit dated.

The location of the property is the BEST! Right on the beach, it’s within walking distance to restaurants and downtown shopping. The excursion pickups and drop offs are right at this beach which made it really nice. I also have to give a shout out to the staff. They were always helpful, nice, and very personable.
There was nothing. This property was exactly what we wanted for our trip.

The People were very kind
There were no late night concessions available....( chips cookies ect... there are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk

The location to the beach was amazing. We were able to walk to several restaurants and others were a short taxi ride away. The on-site restaurant and bar were also a plus. We never felt crowded or the hustle and bustle of larger resorts.
3.5
The location right on Grace Bay Beach was excellent! We could walk right out on the beach from the hotel and virtually ALL hotels with direct access to the beach would cost 3 to 6X as much, especially with the beach chairs and umbrellas that are included. The AC, fridge, & microwave worked well. The restaurant next door (not part of the hotel) provides excellent candlelight dining on the beach which is a memorable experience of ocean waves and sunset, and the food is outstanding!
There is no breakfast or lunch, but the restaurant next door will graciously accommodate but you must pay for each meal separately. The main office closes in the evening and if you arrive late at night as we did from the Casino, it's dark and we were met by an unsavory character begging us for money in the parking lot, nothing happened but it was unsettling. We reserved an ocean view but only 1 room has a clear ocean view and the rest are partial at best. Some of the ground floor areas have a smell of sewage at times which is a HUGE turn off. The main shopping "Salt Mill" is more than a mile away and is too far in the hot sun to walk.
3.5
This location is right alongside the more expensive and inclusive resorts on the beach. Chairs, tables and umbrellas are included on the beach, in some places you would have to pay for these. Towels are also included. No price gouging, water bottles are included and more are provided for guests if they ask at no charge.
This seemed to be the most affordable option for this prime beachfront location. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. This is not as upscale as the competition but it's great for those who want this location at a more affordable price.
Highly recommended for a wedding destination. The ceremony was at sunset and the bride and groom got some wonderful pictures with this setting. For the reception, the food was provided by the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Hors d'oeuvres were passed to start including conch empanadas which were excellent. There were tents for a seated meal afterward. It was a full service buffet and there was a beach barbeque. The food was all delicious. The servers were not shy with distribution from the open bar.
The swimming area is somewhat restrictive, there are boating services that come in and out right next to the swim area and this is distracting as there are many boating trips. The AC worked but it was older. It was loud and I experienced feeling too hot and too cold while sleeping as it would shut on and off during the night. The bed was not very comfortable. There is a porch on the first floor room where we stayed but it faced directly at a walkway where other guests would come and go and the cleaning staff would be working. It was not an area that we wanted to use anyway since we could not feel any breeze where we were.

The TV never worked

The location was right on the beach
The cockroaches in the room and the morning staff at the Bay Bistro were very rude. The showers are very outdated.

Great location on Grace Bay Beach. Loved the umbrellas and the beach chair. Two bottles of water given every day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site (Bay Bistro) - good value and delicious food!

The location was outstanding, right on Grace Bay Beach. Sibonne is a two storied U shaped complex surrounding a lush tropical garden. The rooms are air conditioned and there is a small swimming pool. A short path through the garden leads to a fantastic soft white sand beach. There are plentiful chairs and umbrellas. The staff was friendly and very helpful. An on-site restaurant provided delicious food at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend
A visitor should be aware that this is not a marbled foyered high-rise hotel with state of the art amenities. Rather it is a, very clean, simple Caribbean, retro styled, hotel on a world class beach

We liked that the property was small and not a lot of people. We also liked the view and proximity to the beach.
Nothing. We enjoyed the casual no frill atmosphere. If you need a ton of amenities like paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, large pool and such then you may not enjoy your stay. We came for the beach and the ocean and weren’t looking for these other things.

Breakfast pricing reasonable. Fresh fruit was not ripe, inedible. Coffee was weak with canned milk.

Beds were very comfy. Location was awesome and right on the beach. Less expensive than the surrounding properties. Not a bunch of kids running around. Restaurant on the property was very good.
It's a pretty basic place, not real fancy but it was fine for me and my wife.

We had been staying in Beaches Resort and requested an early check-in which was confirmed. We arrived at just 10. 00 am and the most miserable receptionist said come back at 2.00pm we could have stayed at beaches and had free lunch and drinks there. I went for a run and came back at 1.30pm and asked if our room was ready. I got a response come back at 2.00pm. I asked if there was a shower and could I have a small towel after my run. She said the washing machine was on so no. It continued in the restaurant. There was only one restaurant combined with the hotel. It was too far away to go anywhere else and even for breakfast the staff wanted tipping. We were reluctant to tip for every dink and meal and the staff then seemed to ignore us. At night it was in reality too far to walk into grace bay only on a main road with poor street lighting. We actually walked but I do not think any of my friends would have been able to walk there and back at night time. The hotel was clean the beach was nice but you could not get a sun lounger.

The breakfast at the hotel was perfect for me. There were several choices and after a few days I found what worked perfectly for me. Convenient location. Beautiful scenery.
I loved everything about my stay. So much so that I booked for next year too!

Breakfast was very good…bread was excellent. All meals were very good. One of the best meals we had was at Bay Bistro. The location of the beach and the lounge chairs was perfect. Only a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants in Salt Mill from the beach.
Ironing board in room was so rickety that my husband had to hold it up while I ironed.

Great, small, secluded getaway, with Bay Bistro located right next door. This was our 3rd stay at this paradise.

lovely property right in the beach. no need to cross any roads or streets it’s right there. Can’t beat that!
there was a beach bar located right on the property which was not only convenient but it also offered the best beach view. Trust me, we visited all others nearby and this one and Hemingway’s was our favorite.
Hotel is low key, vintage vibes but clean! it offers great value. If we come back to TCI we will stay in Sibonne again!

Good location, access to beach and good beds.
The photos are exaggerated in booking.com. It is a very average room with very basic features. The bathroom was shabby, worn out floors and old shower curtains. The room had broken power plugs and a tiny TV. There is not a phone in the room, so you can't even reach the front desk. You have to go down to them to even ask for something or call a taxi or make a reservation. Coffee supplements could have been better, old bad powder creamers are gross. Overall, i expected more for what i saw and paid for.

Hotel is right in front of the beach. It has a nearby bistro which serves good food and the price is I believe the most affordable in the area.
Bathroom is old, otherwise still functioning and still not bad for the price.

Not many people were staying at the time so kind of private beach and we could enjoy our time.

beautiful property with stunning beach, its alot more beautiful in real than in the pictures. the bay bistro that is next to the hotel, got delicious food and the „city“ is just 2 car minutes or 15 minutes walk way. you will not regret it.
