It was very comfortable and roomy. Even though we didn't use all the facilities like living room and garden.
Lovely hosts.
Lots of useful information and recommendations about the area.

Great roomy accommodation, nice quiet location, comfortable beds . Hosts 10 out of 10 the place was very clean .
It has to be said there was snow on the ground, the host did get the log burner going in the lounges . The bedrooms and bathrooms were freezing the radiators were on when we first arrived about 7 pm but when we came in later 11ish they were stone cold . it-was so cold I went to sleep in my clothes . The next morning we couldn’t seem to get any hot water in the hand basins .
Had we visited in summer we would have had a different view I think .

We enjoyed our breakfast it was very tasty. We both thought the location was excellent. Just a short walk into Bakewell town centre and Ashford in the water. Ideal location for Monsal trail and river walks.
No complaints hosts very welcoming and keen to help and advise us. There were no coat hangers in wardrobe but we managed and i'm sure we would have been given some if we had asked.

It was lovely to have a communal area for us all to get together. Proper milk in a fridge was a bonus. Location was brilliant! Host’s communication was excellent. Can’t fault it!

Really well presented and the host was very welcoming.
Nothing, the property was perfect for what we needed.
The only thing you may want to consider is a blue tooth speaker.

We arrived as a family of 4 and shared two bedrooms - us one, and the children a second room. Each room is very large, with a shower and toilet, a coffee corner and a small fridge. The house also has a living room with TV, games and a fun sitting area. and an exit to a garden immersed in nature and a fun outdoor sitting area. A lovely, spacious and cozy house with attention to the little details. Very clean and well equipped. Very friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome.

Great location and very comfortable accommodation. Hosts very welcoming, pleasant and friendly.
Overall a lovely place to stay and we would certainly return however…..Carpets could do with a clean and some doormats and a shoe rack would be a good idea. The TV in the bedroom not working but not bothered enough to query it. Could do with some shelves and towel/clothes hooks in the en-suite shower room. No wardrobe in one room to hang anything up and the other room has no drawers. One teaspoon for tea and coffee between four guests in the rooms and at breakfast, odd! Breakfast fruit was strangely served frozen; other choice of jams and not just marmalade for toast would be nice plus a teaspoon to serve. A radio in the dining room at breakfast would be a nice touch as it felt very formal and perhaps a table cloth to save the polished table from anything hot being accidentally not placed on a coaster. Might be better and more practical to have the tea and coffee facilities in the lounge as it’s a bit dodgy carrying boiling hot drinks downstairs. A few biscuits too would be a nice touch. Hopefully this is noted as constructive critique as it’s otherwise a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend it.

A lovely place for a family in beautiful Bakewell. Walking distance to a craft beer brewery. Very quiet to calm down after the excursions of the day. We loved it and can warmly recommend. Superb breakfast served. Thank you very much to our hosts Sarah and Andrew

Location. Quiet.
Few spiders but nothing to worry about , as you get them everywhere.

Really liked the accommodation it has two ensuite large bedrooms plus the large comfortable lounge and use of the garden. Andrew and Sarah made us feel so welcome. The cooked breakfasts in the dining room were excellent.
Nothing.

We didn't have the breakfast.
A small fridge would have been a welcome addition. If my husband had been with me the lack of a fridge would have caused a problem...he is diabetic and his insulin needs to be kept cool.

Lovely place to stay Sarah and Andrew made us feel like it was home from home .Stanton House Annexe was a short 20 minute walk from the town centre .Stanton House Annex was a very nice large two bedroom Annex with a large lounge area downstairs ,the garden was a pleasure to sit out and just relax. I would highly recommend the breakfast cooked by Sarah and Andrew

really lovely garden to relax in, large living room and bedrooms and within waking distance to Bakewell centre and a short drive to Monsal trail. the breakfast cooked by owner was also lovely.
was greta for us provided a good mix between private and B&b style - but to be aware the property is an annex to owners house with shared garden and adjoining so not as private as some other accommodation options

Comfy bed, spacious, friendly host
Bathrooms were not clean (dusty, hair on floor)

Fantastic big property, with a large living space and two big bedrooms, with a fabulous view- which is really value for money when there’s 4 guests staying! Host Sarah and Andrew were excellent, and provided 5 star hotel quality service! They offered warmed plates and cutlery for our dinner takeaway, and the breakfast as an optional order was 5 star hotel quality! Definitely must order breakfast!
Overall the rooms and service was superb, and will definitely come back for another booking again, if we were to travel to Peak District 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Will be nice if there was a mini fridge in the room, but regardless it’s still very wonderful!

Spacious rooms, and lounge area. Great views, great starting point for walks around Bakewell. It's close to Thornbridge brewery and is walkable into Bakewell.
Attentive without being intrusive. Gave advice on local establishments to eat. Breakfast was excellent...and they have the cutest dog called Titch! Would definitely stay here again.
4.5
Lovely accommodation just outside of Bakewell. Andrew and Sarah couldn't have been more helpful. Sarah even had a roaring fire waiting for us when we returned from a walk into town. The breakfast was fantastic and kept us going all day.
I certainly wouldn't recommend the Manners (pub) as a place to eat in Bakewell. Very disappointing.
4.5
location character comfort views
hosts a little too attentive and not being in charge of our own heating. felt like we were staying in someone’s house instead of our own accommodation cleanliness not terrible but not great either

very well set out beautiful decor
disappointed with the cleanliness of certain rooms (bathroom had not been cleaned properly)

The hosts were lovely, helpful & nothing was too much trouble. I stayed with my elderly Mum & my 16 month old, both were welcomed with open arms. The rooms were lovely & big, plenty of room & very comfortable.
We had breakfast on the day of departure & it was fantastic. They went the extra mile for my son, with his own egg & soldiers.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The apartment was in an excellent location and perfect for families. The owners were very pleasant and only too happy to help. The added bonus was the log-burning stove which was prepared and ready for us to light every night. It made the room very cosy.
We were happy with everything, with no complaints to add.
