Great communication from host and informative welcome email.
Great location. Well equipped with everything you need .
Lovely cottage, nicely decorated.
The general cleanliness was a real issue.
The property smelt damp and the linen fusty.
Really dirty washing up sponge and dishcloth.
Bath very slippery with high sides, no non-slip mat.

The cottage is in a quiet street (well, seagulls...) near the beach. Large kitchen, good living room, and two adequate bedrooms. Own parking space.
The carpets could use a do-over. I would have liked some garbage collecting bags to be present. The fold-out table in the living room only had two accompanying folding chairs, where I would have chosen for a minimum of four.

Location was really good, could walk to most places
Beds, not having stains on the mattresses and mattress covers and pillows could’ve been a lot better carpets could be a little bit better. One of the group caught their foot on the carpet gripper by the front door where it was exposed

Modern bathroom & kitchen
In need of a deep clean, dusty. Single beds were child size in width. Bed linen musty, replaced when requested but still not ironed.

Location, Bathroom, Courtyard, Parking, Sofabed, Access.
Noisy Flooring upstairs, not enough privacy with the windows needed net curtains or to be part frosted.
Apart from those two things the place is all good!!
Thumbs up!!

The property is located down a quiet road not far from the seafront. There was space for one car to park and a permit for another if needed. The three of us had a bed each. We could walk to all the local pubs, cafe's and restaurants for breakfast and our evening meals. All bed linen and towels were provided
The bath had no handrail or bath mat. It made it difficult when entering or exiting the shower as the bath's surface was slippy

ideally situated.
lack of hanging space for clothes

The mattresses for the two single beds need replacing, they were very soft and uncomfortable so not conducive to a good nights sleep. Carpets are worn at the entrances. Coat rack came out the wall

Only 2 Chairs provided for the dining table, we had to bring in 2 of the outside chairs.

Cosy and comfortable cottage in an excellent location, with parking

The location was great, one road back from the seafront and a ten minute walk into Worthing. Cottage was warm and comfortable.
The shower needs to be further away from the wall, felt like i was face planting the tiles to get wet.
4.5
It was really cosy, outside was minus 3 degrees, but the cottage was nice & snug. Location was close to the seafront & places to eat. Bed was comfortable.

A new unused washing up sponge would be better that an old used one. Provision of a kitchen roll would have been useful to us and just being picky full bottles of the soaps provided would 'look' better. I did think the removal of the inside front door allowed the stairs and living room to be cold and draughty.

The heating was on making it a snug place to come back to. It has everything we needed it even has a pull out sofa bed. Had a lovely stay.

Location was fab to get to Brighton, off road parking, comfy beds 3/5 stars 🌟
I'm not sure about the cleanliness everyone else has experienced. The carpets are stained and and bit worse for wear in places, back door is mouldy, stains in the sofa/bed. The kitchen was clean, beds were comfy with very clean sheets. Towels were still wet. Blinds in living room and bedrooms really tatty. It just needed a deep clean (doors, radiators, marks on walls) and a bit of TLC. Not as clean as pictures make out to be

The property was lovely
Couldn’t unlock the kitchen door

Very comfortable, great location , great beds, near to everything you could want. Off street parking an added bonus, quiet street. Coffee machine a great addition.
Cleanliness as other people have commented. Needed hoovering. Towels have seen better days. Couldn’t unlock back door, called owner who said it sticks but neither of us could open it. Shame as lovely court yard and we had exceptional weather for the season and would have liked to sit out there.
3.5
The location of the property was excellent and all the facilities were sufficient for our needs.
The cleanliness was an issue - on the face of it, the cottage was clean and tidy but the areas around the base of the sofa bed and the beds in the twin room along the skirting boards were very dirty with dust, spider's webs, etc. Also, there was a lack of cleaning cloths in the kitchen - one that was there was very dirty.

Nice little cottage, great location, ideal for our requirements

Clean, comfortable and well equipped house. Good communication with hosts.
There are three houses on the same road with the number 2, which was confusing when we arrived in the dark. It might help future guests to tell them this.

super little cottage
clean and well positioned as very quiet
no freezer compartment in the fridge
not many saucepans
no salad bowl or large pasta bowls
