The size of the property was great , and a good location
There’s a whole list here !
My first major problem was , the downstairs smelt of damp we thought it may have been because it shut up but after using the showers in all three bathrooms suddenly realise this is why it smelt damp as the showers leaked out onto the flooring and carpet , the bathrooms were a good size, but unfortunately the water from the shower leaked onto the floors making it very slippy and waterlogged hence the dump smell also a another major problem was the patio door leading out to front decking was not able to be opened so made it unusable , this was a major selling point to us when we booked the property as you can see the sea view from that decking as per the selling point on line , also a fire hazard if there was a fire in the hallway , I tried contacting the maintenance company as directed in the welcome pack, when I called them they advised me they no longer looked after the property I then messaged Booking.com and had no reply from Sea glimpses ! For 6 days ! The smoke alarm maintenance book had not been filled out since March which seems to me They had not been tested since March and it’s now end of May beginning of June another fire risk , the kitchen window did not also open , on the outside area of the back of the property had not been swept cleaned for many months, I know the properties by the seaside and the windows will always be have seagull poop on them, but it was clear to see these windows have not been cleaned for many months , they were thick with dirt and poo stains ,

The location was very good and ideal for an open water swimming holiday. We used it as a base to travel to various locations around the Cornish coast. On our own doorstep we had some fantastic swimming beaches including the option for the satisfying swim around Trevelgue Head aka Porth Island. This is about 1800m and includes swimming through the narrow ravine under Porth Beach Footbridge (can only be swum at high tide). It was nice to have an ensuite shower and toilet in each of the three bedrooms. Nice also that one bedroom has a futon to accommodate an extra guest (folds out into a single sized bed). The bedrooms are all downstairs in the basement (although all have opening windows) which makes them nice and cool in the summer. Useful facilities include large washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer and well appointed kitchen with most utensils you can think of!
We were informed by SMS that we would be sent a code to get keys out of a key safe. This was supposed to arrive by a subsequent SMS in the week before arrival however we never received it so I had to call the third party booking agent before arrival to request the code (which was rapidly provided)
We could not find keys to the exterior doors in the bedrooms which meant we couldn't get out into the small terrace areas outside the bedrooms. A minor inconvenience that could be easily rectified. Not a fire hazard as such as the windows all opened and were big enough for people to climb out of if necessary. The showers in the ensuites do not drain very well and as such the bathrooms become more of a wet room! Could not find switches to turn on heated towel rails which would have alleviated matters somewhat. TV has to be retuned every time it is switched on (it does work if you do this). WiFi drops out every few hours but this is easily rectified by restarting the router (described in the hosts manual).
