About this house rental
The Lucky W "Ranch" is just 10 minutes to downtown and 7 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it is adjacent to our own working Lucky W Farm where we have horses, chickens and bees. It is situated on a very private lot, and has super-easy access to the main roads of the Beaverdam Valley and Asheville. Lucky W "Ranch" is one of the few completely legal "entire" homes available this close to town!Lucky W "Ranch" is a classic 1965 ranch house. It has approximately 1,800 sq.ft. of newly remodeled and upgraded living space. The house has four bedrooms with a California King, two Queens and two Twin-sized beds. It has a generous, fully stocked contemporary kitchen, The decor is a funky, cozy mix of new and old. It has wi-fi and a 55" smart/apple TV for Netflix, etc. We will provide all linens and coffee.

The property is peaceful and we enjoyed the countryside feel, especially the lovely and large trees, It was convenient to attractions and a variety of restaurants and grocery stores while feeling remote, Our hosts greeted us and made us feel welcome. The house is well-supplied and comfortable.

This clean, spacious, rural VRBO was perfect for our party of 5. There were enough beds and bathrooms for everyone to sleep and get ready for the day. Nice, large kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the fireplace or fire pit, but would have enjoyed it had we been able to fit it into our itinerary. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend in Asheville that was even more special because of this lovely, clean and very well appointed home. It was in a great location in the foothills within close proximity to downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host seemed to have thought of everything her guests might need and even gave us fresh eggs from her farm. Soooo thoughtful! Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again!

I rented this property for 3 couples in their mid-thirties for a wedding. They had traveled from Ann Arbor, Orange County, and St. Louis. I didn't actually stay in the property, but they raved about it and enjoyed the firepit and other conveniences very much!

Great stay a little off the beaten path
If you are looking for a spacious home a little bit removed from town, this is your spot! Close enough to town to get there quickly but far enough away to feel like a “mountain” vacation. We even saw a family of bears! Would stay again if in the area with a group.

Christmas Trip
Where to start? Jessica was fantastic from the start. Communication was prompt and super helpful. When we arrived she and her husband came to greet us and review everything we might need to know. The home was beautiful, clean and superbly decorated. There was a desk to write letters, a chess board we used a lot. My family came from 3 different states to celebrate Christmas and Jessica even decorated for us with a little Christmas tree. This is one example of the hosts going above and beyond for us.
The location was ideal and we all loved waking up to seeing horses next door. The fresh eggs and honey were amazing!!
This was our first VRBO experience and Jessica and William made it a memory to never forget.
Thank you both!!! We will be back every chance we get!

the sweetest house
Clean, spacious, comfortable, welcoming... can't say enough about this house. The owners were amazing before, during, and even after our stay when they realized we left an item and contacted us to coordinate returning it. Location is central to anywhere you want to go in Asheville. We enjoyed games around the huge kitchen table at night and ventured to a trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway recommended by the owners. Highly recommend and would easily stay here again and again.

Jessica is amazing, she made sure we are comfortable in the house. She and her husband came and greeted us. She had provided farm-fresh eggs and honey which are delicious. House is cozy and well maintained with all the necessities in it. Overall we had an amazing stay and look forward to renting the same house. Thank you, Jessica!!!

the house is very clean and spacious on the inside. Plenty of space to have dinner at the dining table or lounge and chat on the couch. Additionally the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, have sufficient lighting and outlets. My fiance mentioned how comfortable the bed was! It isn't in downtown but is quite close (7 min) to the Blue Ridge Parkway which is beautiful in October. The hosts were very communicative and had great recommendations for a hike in the area. Definitely would recommend and would stay again!

We were provided with honey and fresh eggs from the farm and coffee! The soap smelled wonderful! We were close to the Biltmore where we spent an entire day! Our landlord gave us the names of restaurants in the area and was spot on! Comfortable beds, clean and everything you could want!!! Will definitely come back!!

Couldn't have wished for a better house to stay that made for wonderful memories with my family! Beds, bedding and ALL the amenities were top-notch! Snow on the ground was an added bonus, since we traveled from South Florida! Very convenient to our "Bucket List" of sights to see, Sunday brunch at Grove Park Inn is a MUST! Do not hesitate to book your stay at Jessica and William lovely house!!!

Great family home away from home
We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Lucky W Ranch! Communication with Jessica before and during our stay was easy and helpful. The house was easy to find, and we loved that it was out of town and peaceful. Jessica and her husband were very welcoming upon our arrival and full of helpful information. The house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 1 baby. It was great to have a Pack 'n Play and highchair for our 6 month old grandson. The main TV area had comfy leather furniture and plenty of throw blankets to cozy up with. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked. We came to Asheville for a wedding and had lots of extended family time and events to go to. We also enjoyed a drive along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, visiting a local brewery, and touring the Biltmore Estate. Thank you Jessica for sharing your home!

8 adults shared this house and had a great time. There was plenty of space and bathrooms (a must for this group). It had a feeling of being in the suburbs, but still close to restaurants and downtown.. Definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet, private, comfortable vacation home
We were very happy with our week at the lucky w ranch and it exceeded all our expectations. The house was comfortable and big enough for our party of 5 adults, 2 teens and a 3 year old. The house was well equipped with all the necessary items for a week long stay. There was a high chair for the 3 year old that worked very well. The property owners greeted us on arrival and provided good information on restaurants and local attractions. The owners lived on an adjacent property and were just a few minutes away if needed. The prime reason we chose this property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children was the quiet location and the reasonable cancellation policy.

Very nice stay in Asheville
The house was nice and clean. Spacious enough for 6 adults. A well stocked kitchen with a cool patio room to hang out in. We enjoyed the outdoor space and it was easy to get to downtown.

Great place just outside Asheville
We loved staying at the ranch! Plenty of room for 7-8 guests. Jessica was quick to respond and even met us at the house during check-in. She also provided some great restaurant and other local suggestions. You can Lyft/Uber to town but rides take slightly longer to get to the house (10-15 minutes).

Relaxing private retreat with easy downtown access!
While planning this trip, our communications with Jessica were answered promptly and warmly. As a result, the 6 of us had a great sense of anticipation before we ever arrived, and our experience far exceeded our expectations!
This spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and spacious home, immediately gives a sense of "Welcome, make yourself comfortable, and relax!" Fresh eggs and honey from the Lucky W Farm were waiting in the large, well appointed, fully furnished country kitchen. Shortly after our arrival, Jessica came to personally welcome us.
The extra amenities are too numerous to list, but were of superior quality and resort luxury. Some of our favorite features included the all season porch, conveniently located off the kitchen. This became our gathering place for Happy Hours, planning, socializing and playing games. The large kitchen table seating 8 people was great for playing games as well as eating together. The functional flow of the porch with kitchen area is excellent. The location of this home has the appeal of being "in the country" while offering quick and easy access to downtown Asheville.
We would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending this to all our friends

Fabulous home and generous owners
Lucky W is much finer than we expected. Every detail was beautifully appointed and the eggs and honey Jessica left for us were delicious. Nothing was missing.
Our family reunion of 3 couples was perfect.
Easy access to the Smokies and to town. (Recommend the Satellite Gallery for contemporary art fans) and great food.

Large comfortable and cozy house
Jessica and her family were very friendly and helpful; from coffee, eggs and fire wood we were welcomed with all those treats. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other without being on top of one another. Wonderful fire place that felt good on those cold mornings and evenings. We plan to come back again and stay at the Lazy W Ranch House!

We were so glad to stay in North Asheville where the traffic is lighter than in downtown or South Asheville. The setting is beautiful and quiet, only minutes from a main road, many grocery stores, and gas stations. Jessica is a wonderful, helpful host though we did not have anything come up. The furniture is solid and beautiful as are the wall decorations. The kitchen is well appointed and the towels and sheets are lovely. It was very clean and easy to live there. Highly recommended.

What an amazing property.
This home was incredible. Well stocked, close to everything, the owners left farm fresh eggs and honey for us to enjoy. It was so comfortable and cozy with a wood burning fireplace and the cutest decor. We absolutely loved it.
