Lovely, cosy well equipped cabin, ideal for a relaxing break. Sky Tv was a great bonus as well as thoughtful extras provided, such as milk, toiletries, salt/ sauces etc. Margaret the host is a very pleasant and obliging lady, who kindly offered to return the phone charger we left .
Nothing. I would’ve liked to have stayed a few more nights!

We stopped for my birthday and the cabin was a perfect getaway. I could of lived in it ♡
Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we couldn't sit outside however we loved how unique it was and the owners couldn't be more helpful. We had a little trouble with connection to TV and turning on the radiator however the owners were over in minutes and showed us what to do.
I was a little nervous what to expect with it been in someone's garden however it was so private and the owners are lovely people.
We arrived and had everything we need provided even though we did bring some things we ended up bring them home as tea, sugar and milk for hot drinks were all ready there along with hairdryer, shampoos, cups, plates, cutlery ect. Toaster, kettle, fridge but no freezer ... not the end of the world we just had some ice for some drinks.
There is a gate close by to access a park which is fab for children to stay.
Overall I would stay again and recommend it.
The thing we didn't like was coming home.

A perfect location for me to be able to rest after taking part in the Chester 50 mile cycle challenge, the cabin has got to be seen to be believed! Had a lovely chat with Margaret on the Sunday afternoon after I'd completed the ride (it's always a bonus when you get to meet your hosts) and if I come back to do the Chester ride next year I'll be definitely staying at the Cabin again!
There is absolutely nothing to dislike, everything was perfect, thank you once again Margaret 🙂

Amazing accommodation, very private and relaxing, a home from home
I can't think of one negative about our stay

Location was good with frequent, nearby public transport which was a bonus.
We would have liked some kind of wardrobe/space to hang our clothes up

The cabin is very cosy once your inside
The owner tried to let herself in the property whilst my husband was there without messaging to ask first. She didn't gain entry as the key was in the door on the inside. If the key was not there and my husband was getting out the shower this isn't great. The lady should definatly inform you she want to gain access beforehand. Also I felt like she was watching the electric meter to see how much heating we was using she wanted to gain access to turn off the radiators as we used £15 of electric even though I paid £243 for 3 nights stay... I felt like i had to keep pestering the lady to get onto the driveway. Under the bed had dirty socks and alot of dust. There was silverworms behind items in the bathroom. There was also Cobwebs on the ceiling.

Great getaway in Chester - very clean and cosy. Friendly and communicative hosts. Convenient location with a bus stop into town nearby or a simple 25-30 walk (which, if you’re anything like us, is a perfect after-dinner activity!)

The place gave me exactly what I needed to. Perfect stay to just quickly switch off from day to day responsibilities. The cabin contains everything what is need, very well organised, clean and the owners were very nice and provided a full information about the location and if there is something that would be required they will provide.
It reminds me of the place from my childhood - very good memories:-)

Perfectly situated for Chester zoo. Lodge lovely and everything included that you might need.

The cabin was lovely, nice and homely and very cosy, the host had thought about every little detail, with the kitchen it had a microwave, hob, air fryer, kettle, toaster and fridge. She includes salt, cooking oil and tomatoes sauce as well as milk, tea, coffee and sugar. In the bathroom the shower was hot and powerful, she includes body wash, shampoo and hand wash.
The host left a folder full of restaurants near us to eat at, maps and everything else you could need for your stay.
There was a TV with sky, netfilx and prime, black Gammon game, card and domino.
The host was very nice and caring, nothing was every a problem including when I kept setting the smoke alarm.
The cabin is very close to a shopping park which as asda, tesco, aldi, lidl and shops like b&m, the range, Iceland and homebase.
We stopped as we were going to the zoo which is only 10 minutes away in the car which was great.
Overall it was an amazing stay, would definitely rebook
My partner was abit nervous as it was at the back of someone garden but everything was private.
The smoke alarm was abit annoying as it was very sensitive but the host was so apologetic and said she would be fixing it as soon as we left.
