About this villa rental

As its name says, "The Doctors house" is a beautiful village house with a private swimming pool owned by the local doctor and ideally located in the heart of the bustling coastal village of Kassiopi. Kassiopi is famous for its crystal clear waters, the little fishing harbour, beaches, tavernas and bars.
Doctor's House sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 air-conditioned bedrooms. Without forgetting the bonus of a private swimming pool, a truly unique feature for a house of this kind and in this location! The villa offers guests a classy and upmarket holiday experience in one of the best spots on the island (a car is not required!).
Doctor's House is set over two floors and renovated using top-of-the-range materials. Particular attention has been given to decor and furnishing to provide a further sense of light, style and design. The living area is located on the ground floor. It comprises a spacious lounge (air-conditioned), a dining area (opening straight to the pool patio), a fully equipped purposely built kitchen, and a shower room. The three bedrooms (one double, two twins, all air-conditioned) are on the upper floor and share a large family shower. A pleasant pool-facing terrace can be accessed from the bedrooms.

The Private Swimming Pool

Considering the village location, the private swimming pool is undoubtedly the unique feature of "Doctor's House". It is well-screened and equipped with sunbeds for additional privacy. It measures 7m x 4m. A shaded dining area with a barbecue is also perfect for outdoor living all summer long.

We really enjoyed the outdoor area and the pool..great with barbecue! Very happy with the location !!! The house worked very well for us! Very helpful owner who quickly sorted out if anything! Hard beds. Sparse with kitchen utensils.

Very well located in Kassiopi, 2 min walk from the center. The interior spaces are spacious and can easily accommodate 6 adults with plenty of storage. The outdoor area is exceptional and very well maintained. Very clean pool. Interior areas could do with updating and refreshing. Bathrooms are dated. The dishwasher is poorly placed, not practical to put the dishes there. Nothing to stop you from having a great stay

We spent two weeks at this property which we enjoyed very much. As we have stopped hiring a car on holiday, we found it very convenient as everything we needed was within a short walking distance. The owner checked several times that everything was ok. The pool was exceptionally clean the whole time.

ust back from an amazing two weeks staying here and can honestly say its the first time all 3 of us (husband, 14 year old son and myself) have all agreed on what a fabulous location and villa it was. Very spacious, clean all needs met. The pool is a great size and nice and warm. I knew Kassiopi from over 30 years ago and it has still maintained its charm. We booked a jeep through Eos on arrival at the airport and service was spot on. Highly recommend Drs House and Eos if you visit Corfu.

We shared this house with friends in mid June 2019. It is as shown in the photos and is bright and airy. The pool and pool area are lovely too with plenty of shade for those hot afternoons. The only remark I would make is to do with road noise, if you are a family with noisy children playing in the pool you probably won’t notice it but you some times had to halt conversation until larger vehicles had passed.

Beautiful house in a perfect location.There is everything you need for comfortable stay with a fantastic pool and outside area. Added bonus of mosquito shields on doors and windows. We have visited Kassiopi many times and this accommodation has to be one of the best we have stayed at, great value for money. We hope to be back soon!

Great, comfortable house in a perfect location

Great to be close to the centre of lovely Kassiopi - a perfect spot for late October sun. We swam and snorkelled every day, ate in The Best for tasty souvelakis and Tavernaki for delicious moussaka and calamari. Visited beautiful Kalami and Kouloura but spent most of the time lying in the sun and swimming in various scenic spots around Kassiopi. Also enjoyed a cloudy day out in Corfu Town - very elegant, bustling, enjoyable. Would recommend reading Gerald Durrell while in Corfu - very entertaining.

Just left Kassiopi and we have the blues , we have been going to Kassiopi since 2002 and enjoy our time there every time ,we have stayed in many properties, hotels, apartments, and villas, the Drs house was a lovely surprise, we arrived late and it was lovely to have coffee, milk ,water, all the nice little things waiting for us , it was very welcoming! The villa was spotless and the maids did a good job, the villa itself is a perfect location all the amenities are right on your doorstep, the beautiful Kassiopi harbour is a 5-10 minute walk, we met the dr himself and very pleasant, we had a late departure and it was no trouble to him to allow us to stay longer , all in all we had a great family holiday and look forward to staying at the Drs house next year.

Great location near to the harbour. Top tip - if you want to avoid the crowded beaches, there is a beautiful bay that you can get to on foot from the harbour - just turn right at the end. Lots of choice for places to eat and plenty of supermarkets. We would definitely recommend.

This villa is ideally located only a short walk from the harbour at Kassiopi. We found the location perfect as we didnt bother to hire a car. It was very clean for our arrival and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The WiFi was excellent, pool beautiful and the air con much needed. Would happily recommend the villa and would love to visit again sometime.

We returned to the villa for the second year running as it ticked all our boxes...central location, bars, restaurants within 5 mins walking, Wi-Fi (which wasn't there last year), private pool, BBQ area, supermarket within 10 mins walking, and the owner gives you a lift back with your groceries too !! If I had to point out any negatives...the upstairs bathroom, although perfectly adequate could do with an update as the shower head you have to hold to use as it is over a bath. The light in the bbq area needs better lighting as it kept going off so we had to jump about to activate it !! But these were the only negatives....definitely recommend this place

Just back from a week at The Doctors House and I have to say its one of the best kept villas I've stayed in. The cleaning service was superb and we had no problems whatsoever. Kassiopi centre is only a couple of minutes walk with some fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended would definitely book this villa again if its available.
