We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage
The only downside was the lack of parking

Fishlegs is a beautiful cottage.
Fishlegs is a beautiful cottage. Very thoughtfully decorated with real character, warm, with everything you could need. The views over the harbour are amazing. As the owners make clear the stairs are steep, which is to be expected in a period property, and was no problem for us. The only slight downside was parking. The narrow road and surrounding streets make it next to impossible, but you can park overnight in the nearby harbour car park – about 5mins walk.

It delivered.
It delivered. Great location, great views, lovely place. Comfortable, everything worked, there were supplies for cleanup, directions, etc. Great shower and tub and nice downstairs loo. Tiny things which would be improved.... bath plug needs attaching, can't block bathroom sink to shave, handle on dishwasher is loose, falling off... but no big deal at all. Great spot - loved it.

Fabulous week, and Jaq made us feel welcome and safe during these fraught times with thoughtful details.
Parking was sometimes a challenge, but that’s to be expected in a small Devon coastal town, and I enjoyed exploring the lanes!

Nice cottage.
Nice cottage. Nicely furnished. Only a short walk to restaurants and pubs. No parking and streets are quite steep, however we didn’t use our car for the whole time we were there so didn’t matter. Local restaurants were excellent, would thoroughly recommend.

Had a wonderful holiday at Fishlegs.
Had a wonderful holiday at Fishlegs. Beautiful quirky cottage with views of the harbour.
Everything you could possibly need was provided, even enough tea, coffee, milk and sugar for everyone to have a hot drink on arrival. A bottle of prossecco in the fridge with a welcome label attached from the owners was a lovely treat. We travelled by coach to Brixham and found the cottage very central to everything, with an excellent bus service to Paignton and Torquay and plenty of lovely walks with some good pubs/restaurants. Local people were extremely friendly.
