The location is the greatest & always felt safe at this property. The staff is helpful if needed.
The key to the room worked horribly. The tv entertainment is no longer cable, as they’ve switched to streaming. I don’t have international streaming plans from the USA. There was a mouse in the room 5 out of 8 nights.

Great location across from peaceful West End beach. Many restaurants nearby. Not much noise. Good facilities and air con. Nice hosts even let us use their oven to bake a cake for my wife’s birthday. Good value in Roatan.

Excellent rooms and furniture. Brilliant location right by bars and restaurants but quiet at night. Right next to great diving companies. Huge rooms with loads of space.
The rooms are more like studio apartments than hotel rooms, which is great, but we didn't realise that until arrival. There are not many signs and for someone just arriving it's not entirely clear what is part of mame trees and what isn't - it would be good if a sign could tell newcomers where to go and how to "sign in" etc. But otherwise the rooms were excellent

The hotel grounds are in a gorgeous garden, felt like waking up in a enchanted land. The hotel is a few steps from the beach and the west end boardwalk so its near everything you need! The reception was a bit hard to find but the owner of the hotel is very responsive on WhatsApp.
I was a bit bummed that they didn’t take care for payment but only cash as I wasn’t prepared and I had to look for a working atm in that side of the island.
Also the water in my shower was tepid at best, it wasn’t too bad in 90 degree weather.

Location was perfect. Pretty much in the heart of West End.
I wasn’t there much but the decor gives a dark feeling. curtains and linens are dark brown and makes the space feel closed in.

the room was spacious lovely private porch
no cleaning of the room during my stay

The owner provided us with a fully furnished studio, which made our 10 day stay much better because we could do our own cooking. The studio was spacious and exactly as advertised. We were 100 ft from the Caribbean Sea.

I stayed in Mame Trees Hotel for 3 nights. The room was quite excellent with a lot of space for 3 member family and our dog. Although I did not use the kitchen, it was well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Because of our short stay they did not clean our room something that the owner mentioned from the beginning and I agreed. Only one observation I have. It looks like the aircon was not working properly (needs a charge of refri gas), unfortunately I did not have the time to look for the owner to mention it. I am sure he will fix it after reading this. The hotel is situated in front of a beautiful beach. By walking about 5-10 minutes you can find everything, even next to hotel. Restaurants are super close and the food is excellent. Convinient stores are about 2-3 minute walking and they have everything someone needs. At same distance you can find a store with laundry service. Scuba diving is at same distance and the lessons are done in front of hotel. In general we are very pleased and we are thinking seriously having Mame Trees our every year vacation hotel. Already we are planning to have vacation there next year but for 16 nights. See you soon
The aircon was quite insufficient needing a gas charge because even with the lowest temperature set up the room was quite hot

The location is great! great A/C and owner
I wish they would’ve cleaned at least once in the 7 nights.. but I also understand that I was staying in a very budget place.

Great place right in the centre with amenities on the doorstep. Perfect for diving at coconut! Staff were friendly and fixed and issues or answered questions straight away.
Perhaps provide basic cooking things - salt, pepper, oil and some tea/coffee?

Good location (near the center of West End so close to restaurants and the beach). Cheap price. Comfortable bed. Good tv channel selection although most channels had a "blizzard". Adam, a New Yorker, is the owner who lives on site with his family and is accessible and friendly.
Filthy shower curtain. No soap or toiletries. No telephone. No front desk (only seven units), Listing on Booking says massage and restaurant...no such thing. Don't even have a masseuse to suggest altho I found one.

Great location, clean, very responsive manager. We spent three weeks in Roatan and visited most of the island. In the end, West End is where we will stay again and we will definitely be staying with Mame Trees. You can walk across the street to the beach in Half Moon Bay for a swim or snorkel, and are within a 1 min to 10 min walk from all the amazing food West End has to offer.

right across from the beach. lots of cafes and restaurants. great bed!

The location as central as possible, right next to everything!
The sitting area outside is also nice.
Nicely done bathroom.
Good communication.
Would have been nice to have more lights around the room. Reflection of the light on the TV makes it very difficult to watch TV in bed.
