Salida Riverfront Town Home is located in downtown Salida, three blocks from the center of Historic Downtown Salida, on the beautiful Arkansas River.

This three story town home was built in 2007 with elegant, high-end finishes. Each of the three floors has its own spacious deck that overlooks (nearly overhangs!) the Arkansas River with amazing views both upstream and downstream, including a view of Tenderfoot (“S”) Mountain. The lowest deck has stairs down to water level.

The well appointed kitchen has lots of granite counter space and is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. (We're serious--the kitchen has EVERYTHING you would expect to find in a regular family kitchen.) Those gourmet meals can be enjoyed at either the indoor or outdoor dining tables--both have amazing views. Your designated chef need not despair of cooking duty--he or she can enjoy the company of companions AND views of the Arkansas River because the kitchen is open to the main living and dining area.

The lower level is a spacious second living room designed for relaxation, with a leather couch, reclining chairs, 43 inch smart television, small library of books, gas fireplace, and full bath. The deck on this level has steps down to the river, and the sound of the river through the oversize sliding glass doors is mesmerizing. In fact, each of the three levels has oversize sliding glass doors onto the decks and the river can be clearly heard from all three floors.

There are two large bedroom suites on opposite sides of the upper floor, each with private bathrooms. The master suite faces the river, has its own deck, and a king size bed with high quality linens. The master bath has double sinks and a large, beautifully tiled shower with bench.

The second bedroom faces the front of the home with views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains to the south and has two queen sized beds with high quality linens and goose-down comforters. The bathroom in this second bedroom is also beautifully tiled and includes a bath tub.

Other amenities include a single car garage with extra space to store your toys,
and parking for an additional vehicle in the driveway (additional parking is available on the street); Bose iPod dock, full linens, four 43 inch smart TVs, full size washer and dryer, gas grill, walk-in closets in each bedroom, large kitchen pantry, gas range and oven and microwave.

The property fee of $30 per night that is included in the fees is the City of Salida's Short Term Rental Fee.

The owner was very responsive throughout the reservation and move-in process. Access was well-described and easy. The property is very spaceous, and the location for walking to attractions and restaurants is outstanding. The house is very well-supplied with linens, cooking equipment, and even paper goods. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Really enjoyed our stay with friends at this house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and all the other amenities were as described. Sitting on the deck, listening to the river was a relaxing pastime. It’s an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants as well. Would stay here again.

This property was perfect for our family of four! We came to Salida for all of the outdoor activities and this property was right in the middle of it all. It is a beautiful home with lots of space for everyone. We really appreciated the hot tub and washer/dryer after our days of hiking, biking and whitewater rafting. The balconies provided beautiful views of the landscape and wildlife. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Salida!

Ideal location right on the river so you can fall asleep to the sound of water. So enjoyable to sit on the deck and enjoy a meal or soak in the hot tub. As a bonus we were within walking distance of everything! The host was very responsive.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Salida! Great location. Beautiful townhouse in and out. RIGHT on the Arkansas river. Great for 2-4 people, with two spacious suites on the upper level. (one king, the other 2 queens). Large rooms and closet space so you can unpack and stay a while in comfort. Very comfortable living space. Nice kitchen, gas stove. Beautiful Shaker decor throughout. 2 decks overlooking the river, with nice private hot tub. Single car garage with direct entry into house. Could park a second in the driveway. Nice entry room for coats and shoes, etc. Owner Lindsay was very responsive to our questions. We've stayed in a LOT of VRBO's over the years and this was one of the best. Recommend without reservation.

This was a perfect spot for out family to get away! It is a 20 minute drive to Monarch for skiing. You can walk to all the great dining spots I. Salida. The property was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed playing games by the fire and the kids loved the hot tub over looking the river. I would highly recommend!

Location, view, and amenities were great. The place needs to be vacuumed and dusted thoroughly. Having to vacuum to the sound of dirt everywhere as a guest is alarming. Hot tub is a plus but needs considerable more love. Water foggy, overuse of chemicals and multiple jets missing or fell out during our stay.

We absolutely loved being here, and when we were in town, we couldnt wait to get back! Beds are comfortable and its a very nice place. We visited in late sept. so opening windows kept it comfortable upstairs. The only thing visitors should know is that whoever sleeps in the front bedroom (2 beds) can hear the street traffic if windows are open. We closed them when we went to bed, & thought for summer guests a small AC just in that front bedroom would make a great addition! Overall its a fabulous vacation rental and also offered privacy for 2 couples.

The home is walkable to downtown Salida which we appreciated. We enjoyed using the hot tub, as well as cooking meals in the kitchen. Usually when I stay in rental properties, I'll bring my own pans because sometimes the property isn't stocked well. This home had everything! Communication was great - we were traveling with two infants and the host was graciously flexible in allowing us to check in a little early to accommodate nap time. We would all stay again!

We had a good stay at this duplex on the river. Overall, the place was very nice. A few things could have been cleaner- there were some dusty fixtures in the master bath and cobwebs and dust in the master bedroom. Pretty minor stuff, though. We were without internet for the first couple of days due to an internet outage, and Lindsay, the owner, was very responsive to texts and communicated well with us. The place was well-stocked and we especially loved the decks and proximity to the river. We usually just left our car parked in the garage and walked into town, which we loved. The beds were good except for the pull-out sofa down in the basement. That mattress wasn't very good, so my son just left it folded in and slept on the couch instead. We also couldn't find sheets to use on that bed, so that wouldn't have worked anyway. Well-stocked kitchen. Great stay overall and would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

I didn’t realize until after I booked the place that it didn’t have air conditioning, won’t lie, that was fairly intimidating for us being from middle Tennessee and booking our stay in mid July. To my surprise the indoor temperature was never an issue. The garage had plenty of room for our truck, Lindsay supplying the garage door remote made coming and going super convenient. The place was very clean, had plenty of extra blankets, and everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Lindsay was super easy to contact and very accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This home is perfect for two to six people. The super clean house, spacious layout, charming decor, proximity to town, convenient garage, privacy, and well-stocked kitchen and baths make it the best vacation home at which we’ve stayed. And the River is right at the back decks! We enjoyed watching the rafters as well as just looking and listening to it roll by. Lindsay is a fabulous host and the pride in her work shines through. We’ve already booked for next year!

I usually stay at a friend's property in Salida, but wasn't able to this time. I chose this house knowing that it's in a great location. You can easily walk to downtown (I recommend taking the trail along the river!). It was much too cold for us to dip our feet into the river, but the property has stairs leading right to the water's edge which would be wonderful on a hot summer day. The house layout and cleanliness were great. We'll be staying here again!

This Salida condo has everything you need to spend a wonderful time in the mountains.It is like walking into a home not just a rental unit.The views are beautiful, it's a short walk to town and hiking trails.The kitchen is well stocked allowing you to cook whatever you desire.Thos is a beautiful place and I hope to revisit it soon.

I loved this house! Incredibly comfortable and well-stocked, this house was a dream getaway. We loved the kitchen and 3 balconies, and of course we loved the hot tub. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
