This hilltop home is just 1 mile to Stowe village and 15 minutes from the ski slopes. Perfect for families and gatherings. Here are some details on this beautiful getaway:
— Set just off the road, so you have plenty of privacy yet easy access to everything.
— 5 bedrooms.
— 3 ½ bathrooms.
— 3,000 sqft of indoor living space.
— 2 separate living rooms with TV’s, couches, chairs, etc.
— Newly appointed bedding and linens.

We live a mile up the road in Stowe Hollow and are just a phone call or text away with any questions, requests or issues you may have. There will be fresh cider donuts basic sundries awaiting your arrival. All you have to do is have fun!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
During the winter SUV's and AWD vehicles with winter tires are recommended as the driveway is a bit steep. We will make sure it's plowed and sanded whenever necessary (we even keep a few barrels of sand along the side in case of emergencies) but it's best to be prepared for Vermont roads anywhere you go in the area when there is snow on the ground.

This was the perfect vacation home for my husband and I, 2 adult children and their spouses, and 3 grandchildren. Lots of room for family time, rest and relaxation! The pool/jacuzzi was perfect and truly enjoyed by all. Everything we needed and way more than we expected!

Excellent layout for a group of people. Downstairs suite, upstairs master with its own bath, and a hall bath for three other bedrooms upstairs. Everyone feels like they have their own space. Great outdoor space. Beautiful views of the mountains. Kristin is a great communicator and very easy to work with. I definitely recommend staying here!

Great weekend, location was perfect. Host was responsive and helpful.
My only comment is that there should be more towels available. House is listed as sleeping 10. There were exactly 10 bath towels, and 6 hot tub towels. If the house is fully occupied and everyone is using the hot tub (which was the case during our visit), there were not enough towels for all without using a bath towel as also a hot tub towel for some of us.

Our family of five had a great time in this home in Stowe. The house was very clean and the owner supplied the house with several complimentary items. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was great for our whole family to be together, hot tub was fun, kids got to sled right outside in the yard, kitchen had everything we needed. So nice for everyone to have their own bedroom, 3 full baths, & great lower level to come in & out with all your gear. Plenty of closet & storage space.

Honestly could not have been any better. House was amazing - spacious, functional, lots of furniture, well stocked and appointed kitchen, hot tub! Host was amazing - great instructions/directions, place was ready early, had some treats waiting for us, immediately answered any questions. Best ever!!!

My three-generation family stayed here over Christmas. The house was just as pictured—not fancy, but well-appointed and comfortable for a bigger group. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in, beds were comfortable, and the house, though a mile from town, was totally private and had a lovely view of the mountains. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after skiing at Stowe, about 20 minutes away. The owner provided a little Christmas tree and decorations so we felt right at home. The house doesn’t have a fireplace or huge common spaces relative to the number of people it sleeps, but we had no trouble making it work for us. Appreciated the donuts on arrival and the ease of communication with the very nice owner. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent three nights at this house. It was a very nice spot and a great place to gather. We saw some deer in the yard while we were there and the hot tub was a nice addition. We got a small amount of snow while we were there and the owners made sure to have their plow come and also sand the driveway, that was thoughtful and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. This home and location was a wonderful place for our annual Siblings and Spouses trip. Plenty of room for the six of us to spread out with a well-stocked kitchen and Kristin was readily available if we had any questions about the house or area. The location of the house with beautiful scenic views made it easy for us to spend time in Stowe plus do day trips to the Stowe Mountain Resort to ride the gondola, Von Trapp Family Lodge, and a self-guided driving trip to see the many covered bridges in the area while enjoying the scenic views along the way! We would definitely stay in this home if we ever return to this area.

Nine high school classmates who are friends for 50+ years traveled to Stowe for a combination of relaxation, leaf-peeping, touring, hiking, shopping & just spending time together. Our place was absolutely perfect for that. We loved the location, just one mile from Main Street, away from the light pollution of the town.
The house was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, from plenty of cookware & dishes to extra pillows & blankets and more. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us to dine together, to sit in the living room to visit and to hang outside on the deck & in the pool - in October!!!
Kristin was quick with her replies to the few inquires we had, and always accommodating and pleasant. All of us will recommend this house to our friends.

This place was exactly what we wanted! We had 4 generations and we all fit so comfortably in this home. We swam in the heated pool and hot tub in late September, viewed the stars at night and played games at the huge dining room table every night! Kristin was amazing and responsive whenever we had questions. There was nothing that we needed! They even provided Vermont cheese and crackers and cider donuts upon our arrival. It was clean and comfortable - we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

So close to downtown Stowe, but in a private location with a beautiful wrap around deck , pool and hot tub. There we 6 of us, all adults. We had a wonderful time. Host answered any messages right away. Views are outstanding! Five stars!!

This is a large, well maintained house on a spacious property with a nice woodsy, rural feel. There is a heated pool and a hot tub, which were great. The house had plenty of space for our group of six adults, two young children and a toddler. There was easy access to the town of Stow and other local activities. Outdoor dining was great as were the sunset views. We also enjoyed the firepit and s'mores. The owner was very responsive to any requests or reports (for example, the hose was broken and they came to repair it right away.)

Comfortable beds, basic utensils and toiletries provided, secluded location and Kristin was a great communicator. The hot tub and pool were an added bonus.
Kristin left us donuts and cheese/crackers from a local store as well as a Christmas tree lit and decorated since I had mentioned we were celebrating Christmas in August, a nice personalized touch for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property for our family of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The covered deck was perfect for morning coffee and the pool and hot tub a terrific way to unwind after hiking and biking. Kristin was a wonderful host- she had clear communication and was very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to stay here again!

We were very pleased with the location and all the help from the owner. Everything went very well and it was a perfect spot for our ski vacation. We were even welcomed with apple cider doughnuts, cheese and crackers. Would highly recommend this property.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this beautiful, spacious, immaculate home! Kristin was delightful to interact with and was always instantly responsive to our questions. We were a group of 7 and we all felt instantly at home and very comfortable in all our rooms. The hot tub was especially awesome! We are thinking of returning in summer to enjoy even more of beautiful Stowe!!!

Perfect amount of space, perfect location, perfect amenities, and a perfect host. My family, 9 people—ages 7- 62–stayed over the Christmas holiday and had a great time. The house is perfectly located, 15 min away from skiing, 5 min away from town, 4 min away from the best sledding hill ever. Kristin was super quick to respond to everything and had great recommendations for all of our needs. My kids already want to go back!

Great stay in Stowe!
Great property with plenty of room for 3 small families. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, good sized dining room, and we loved the pool and deck. We spent time in one of the two family room areas every day. The bedrooms had tons of storage and the homeowner provided games and some toiletries.
The homeowner was fantastic. Incredibly communicative and required very little of us at exit, which was great for getting out of the house and on the road! The homeowner answered all of our pre trip questions and was great to work with.
Getting into and around Stowe was pretty easy and we had a good time visiting local sites, including Ben and Jerry's, Smugggler's Notch pass, and lots of hikes.
We all agreed this house was perfect for us and we would happily come back!

My family and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful private property in Stowe. The house was big and roomy with birdsong and views all around us. The teenagers in our group loved the pool and hot tub and we all enjoyed the expansive deck and covered porch. The owner host was fully accessible and accommodating throughout our stay.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more at this comfortable, lovely home. The location was perfect for trekking all around the state and super close to Stowe. The property manager was extremely helpful and available (didn't need her for anything during our stay, but was nice to know she was there). Highly recommended.

Great House!
Loved the pool and hot tub… that was a real draw for our kids. The beds were extremely comfortable! Lots of bathrooms! Enough room the we didn’t get in each other’s way with eight of us sharing the house. We even saw some of the area wildlife… a black bear one morning and two deer the next . Quite an experience for the kids!

It was probably one of the cleanest properties I’ve ever stayed at (we kept remarking about it!) and the owners were incredibly thoughtful and communicative. It would be a great spot for a summer getaway as well- the only downside is that you can’t walk to town but it’s only a minute or so away by car!
