What an absolutely stunning place! The history of the Manor was fascinating and Sophie and Erwan's hard work in restoring it has paid off. It is such a peaceful and beautiful spot, I highly recommend it to everyone! (Also, they have a gorgeous and friendly dog who will come say Hi!)
The bed was tiny, my husband (6ft 4in) was handing off the end and we were smooshed together like sardines. We ended up having to sleep on separate beds as it was just too small.

A lovely and cosy appartement in a perfect setting: beautiful/ historic buildings, surrounded by a stunning garden and the best: the sound of the singing birds.

Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The history of the manor was particularly interesting - especially the fact that it was built by the Knights Templar in the 13th century!
It was difficult to find decent restaurants nearby.

location , beautiful historic yet well kept property

The property is a loft in an old converted barn, in the grounds of a historic manor with an exceptional garden. Clean, quiet, comfortable and very charismatic. A short drive to Rouen city centre, but surrounded by woodland. Whole family loved it.

Manoir de l'Aumônerie - if you need beauty, a place to be in silence, a beautiful garden,
and a marvelous lodging - book it right now! If you don´t want to rest in silence, it´s no
problem anyway....Rouen is around the corner, and around the other corner nature as well...
if you want to return to silence...

Excellent spacious accommodation in a fantastic setting.
Beautiful gardens adjoining the ancient Manor House.
Close to a charming village, and nearby woodland. Ideal for walking or cycling.
The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful ref local information.
Would highly recommend this accommodation to friends or family groups.
We intend to return soon!
Not a criticism, but you need a car to visit restaurants.

A small apartment on the territory of a private estate, a huge garden and a park in a very quiet location. There is a private courtyard with table and chairs. Inside there is a kitchen, a salon and two bedrooms. Private parking at the entrance. Very nice hosts, helped us to find out information about the tests.
Nice apartment, recommend for a family or two couples.

Beautiful, quiet surroundings. We love staying in historic (read ancient) buildings, and this former manor house of the Templars is now one of our favorites. Hosts were very welcoming and charming. We got off to a bad start with a dog that barked constantly, but once brought to owner's attention, we didn't hear another peep. A great jumping off point for our visit to Rouen and Normandy!

The location and setting are excellent. Close to Rouen and the lovely Seine valley with its fine old abbeys. The apartment is the tastefully restored upper floor of an old building within a 13th century manor complex. Access to an outside garden area. Fine hosts with excellent suggestions.
The apartment is fairly small, suitable really for only four adults, and perhaps somewhat cramped should weather be cold or rainy.

Beautifully renovated building with an eye for (historic) detail. The building is in a very peaceful and charming environment. The enthusiastic owners are restoring other buildings on the property as well, which is very nice to see.
There was a television with a large DVD collection and there were plenty of games for (younger) children. A great place just to stay and relax.
The location is only accessible by car and all shops and restaurants are relatively far away in a town nearby. The WiFi was not very fast. The location could be a bit boring for older children (teenagers) .

We stayed at the Manoir for four days. An enjoyable vacation at an extraordinary location : spacious, clean and comfortable facilities in a medieval setting. The friendly host has true passion for the restoration of the manoir and that gives it that ultimate touch.

The historical ambiance, the peace and quiet and the beauty.
We visited the manor in early spring. At the time the house was very cold.

It was a nice experience to stay in a historical building. The garden was very beautiful. Because of Covid, we wanted a place further away from crowds and this place serves the purpose. This is a family friendly location, suitable for small kids with a maze in the garden. This place has all the facilities a family might need. The hosts were nice. There was a nice dining area, a study/movie room downstairs. There was also a sitting area upstairs, in the evening when the kids were asleep, that was practical.
Kitchen area was a bit on the smaller side but It has every thing one might need in a short holiday. Due to covid, we did not visit any restaurants and cooked at the property, otherwise, I would not mind at all.
