About this villa rental

Villa Maria is a great property located on a fresh water canal with boat dock. The house is very spacious and comfortable, bright and light... more than 2,700 sq. ft. The property offers living room and family room, both accessing directly the pool area and both have new leather sofas. Also one of the two master suites is opening directly onto the pool area. The main master suite including bathroom was totally remodeled recently. The main master bathroom has separated soaking tub and shower and two vanities. There is even a pool bath. Formal dining room and breakfast nook. The kitchen has a pass-through to the lanai which is wide and ideal for entertaining. The entire living area is tiled with light colored ceramic. New floors in all the bedrooms. The pool with its special shape is electrically heatable and overlooks the fresh water canal where you will enjoy seeing birds and other wildlife. It also has the perfect Southern exposure to enjoy sun during the day and beautiful sunsets... even a boat dock.
A few minutes away from the beautiful Manasota Key beaches. Shopping very close.
The property is located in the prestigious area of the Rotonda West Golf and Country Club with five golf courses nearby.

Superb Villa in the lovely area of Rotonda, ideally situated central to fort Myers, Naples, Bonita springs, Sarasota etc. Great canal side position with its own dock where we saw lots of bird life, turtles, and alligators. Villa has all facilities required for a comfortable vacation, we couldn’t have wished for more. We (family of 2 adults and 3 kids around 15 to 17) had a fabulous stay during 07/2023 and - as it was our 4th vacation in Rotonda - we can say that it was the most recommendable property we’ve seen so far. The location is perfect to reach either shopping or beaches etc. The owners are beautiful, the house was absolutely clean and fully equipped with everything you might need. A technical problem (fan on the porch) was solved immediately.

Beautiful home. Everything you need except food! Appliances are top of the line. Pool is wonderful (depth about 4 1/2 end to end). Beach towels & chairs, noodles, float loungers and rods for fishing. Owners are great. Respond to questions promptly. Would highly recommen Villa Maria for a wonderful vacation.

This property was perfectly situated for our stay. Quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Englewood and Boca Grande beaches. About 40 minutes from Venice. The house was beautiful and complete with everything you would need. Pool area very relaxing. Perfect vacation! Thank you for sharing your home!

We completely enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria! The house was ample size, as we had 3 of us working remotely during our visit and needed our separate spaces. The pool was our favorite part--well-maintained and gorgeous--and a large lanai area as well. The wildlife viewing backing up to the canal was very nice too, as we had daily visitors from many species of birds. The house also came with bicycles which we used frequently. It was also close to many walking paths. And if you want peace and quiet, this neighborhood definitely has it. The house was also close enough to drive to many restaurants and a variety of beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our second visit to Villa Maria with our family and we think it's an amazing home. Super clean, all amenities are fabulous, plenty of space for entire family ( our group is 6 adults 2 toddlers and 2 babies) the pool area is the best and the design of the pool is one of a kind!! Big rooms,kitchen is fully equipped and then some.... We plan to visit again in the near future. Everyone was so pleasant and we only had a small glitch with the heat to the pool but it was addressed quickly and efficiently and all was well within 24hrs. We enjoyed our stay 5 stars!! Close to everything you could possibly need! We love the beaches at Englewood and Gasparilla Island....Stump Pass. Thanks so much Rocsy and Dan for sharing your home!!

Disappointed that there was a separate charge to heat the pool per day,which was not mentioned when I was booking the property. When I called to have the pool heated, the price quoted to me was not what I was billed. I was charged more! For what... They did not say for what!! Paid for 6 days Only ended up using pool 2 days! The house itself was beautiful and clean. I would rent again....without the heated pool!!!

Having stayed in the area for some 20 years first impressions of the villa were good. It was easy to get to, plenty of space and the layout worked well for us. Our first time out by the pool however we were surprised to find a number of tiles around the edge of the pool were loose. We contacted the management company who were quick to respond and visited later the same day. It was during the visit they actually pointed out that more of the tiles were broken and confirmed they were already aware of the problem, but had failed to mention anything to us. We were advised to "be careful" during our stay. When the tiles were wet and whole corner sections could move under your feet, you really did need to be careful as it was an accident waiting to happen. They did advise it would be fixed in September so hopefully nobody else will be subject to the hazardous conditions. A nice villa but didn't quite check all the boxes for us.

We bought plane tickets just a few days before our travel dates, then scrambled to find a place to stay for 8 days. Thankfully it was offseason and we were able to secure this rental through HomeAway. Originally we had hoped to find a place closer to the beach or to shops, but with only a couple of days to make reservations, we decided to take a chance on Rotonda West. We were absolutely thrilled with the home. Spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortably furnished, the house had everything we needed and then some: nice pool and outdoor living space (with huge outdoor dining table and chairs), three large bedrooms with some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had in a rental, fantastic master suite, 3 bathrooms total, music system wired throughout the house, espresso machine, fully equipped kitchen, bicycles, beach chairs, and more. We visited Englewood and Manasota beaches several times, as well as a beach in Venice, malls, movie theater, etc. Convenient to grocery stores and every other kind of shop and restaurant. One super hot day, we stayed home during midday sun and played the Monopoly game provided, a British version of the game. Been a long time since we played Monopoly with the kids (they’re teens now), and we had so much fun!! On the last day, the garbage disposal had a little glitch and the property manager took care of it right away. A/C worked great. I could go on and on — fabulous accommodations for our Florida stay. The house was beautiful, the pool area and the dock were stunning!! Any questions we had were answered immediately. Wow!! This is an absolutely beautiful villa, so clean and with everything we could have needed during our stay .....and more. We settled in right away and spent 5 fabulous weeks here, it's so peaceful and relaxing and the pool is awesome. This was our second stay in Villa Maria and hopefully we'll be back again soon. We loved to stay at Villa Maria!

The house is spotless, nicely decorated and very well cared for with two huge comfortable master bedrooms. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and had fun in the amazing pool. The large dock in the backyard was a favorite place to watch plenty of Florida wild life( from the beautiful birds and turtles to an alligator that visited us from time to time). We wish we stayed longer but we plan to return in the near future. Thank you for sharing your house!
