Out of the way place to stay in Fairbanks - beautiful views and an excellent owner.
Wifi doesn't work well, other than that no complaints.

Exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, located in a magnificent area of the world. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Our visit was a time we shall never forget. We look forward to going back and staying again for even longer.

This is an authentic Alaska homestead. The cabin was clean, functional and well situated to see the Aurora Borealis. The warming hut was always ready for us to use as we stargazed and searched for colors in the sky. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful in planning our days.

I loved A Taste of Alaska Lodge! I was traveling alone so I was a bit concerned being in the middle of the woods in a cabin but I always felt safe and the Spruce Cabin was so comfortable! Best place I've stayed at while traveling and I will highly recommend to my friends and family.

Haven’t had breakfast yet, however location/view is FANTASTIC
Mother Nature could have cooperated! We didn’t see the aurora borealis, even though the “alarm” went off...😢

Great lodge. Cozy room, scenic view, delicious breakfast, friendly family, helpful aurora alarm, etc.
The family kindly called a reliable taxi because I had to depart early morning. (It was difficult to find a ride through a ride-hailing)
In addition to it, their cute son played with my son!
We highly recommend A Taste of Alaska Lodge! Thanks a lot!

The views out our cottage windows were beautiful. We also liked the main lodge. Very nice set up. The breakfast was good and hearty. The people who owned the place were friendly and helpful. They took the time to visit with us while we were eating breakfast. We learned a lot about the area during our conversation. Our cottage was comfortable and roomy. My husband went to their Aurora Borealis viewing area on the property with Cory, the owner. He was treated to a stunning display of the lights! And it didn’t cost anything extra if you are staying at the property.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

We arrived to the lodge a bit unsure about the accommodations, as it is set up like a B&B and we usually stay at hotels. We absolutely loved it. The room & lodge were cozy and warm…both temp wise and the ambiance. Owners were super nice and friendly. Breakfast was family style and we met a few other travelers during this time. Food was good, view was beautiful….all around a great experience.
The “please take your shoes off” caught us off-guard. Haha! But not a big deal.

Great owners and staff.
Includes aurora watching with free drinks and snacks.
Far enough from Fairbanks to not have too much light and noise pollution.
Great area to walk around and see wildlife.
Can borrow snow shoes.
Spacious cabin with view.
Cabin could be cleaner. Some things were kinda dusty.
Hard to tell if items in cabins were for use or just decor.
Breakfast wasn't special. But ok for covid, other places barely provide anything.

Breakfast was great. Our room was charming, eclectic, clean, and comfortable. Kory, Debbie and Lily are delightful hosts.
