Gorgeous room set up in a quiet area
4.7
The room was quiet and clean. The bed comfortable. We liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The gardens on the property were amazing. Just a short drive into town and also to Exit Glacier.
Would have liked the water to get a bit warmer in the shower, it doesn't seem to get hot, just warm.

Everything was perfect during our stay at Steller Inn. The staff and room was great.
4.7
The location, the spacious room, how clean everything was
The shower water could have been hotter.
4.7
The setting is just lovely, the property manager, Maja, was friendly and informative and the room was nicely appointed.
4.7
The perfect Alaska setting. We were afraid to leave our room at 6 AM because it was dark and bears may be around. The ultimate Alaska experience :)
Everything was great!!
4.7
This was adorable. Fit us perfectly and had everything we needed. Beds were nice and comfortable. The manager told us where to see salmon in the river behind the property.
Not that the owners can do too much about it but road from the highway has lots of potholes. Be prepared to go slow.

This was the cutest little row of cottage-like places backing up to a quiet stream with salmon in the back of the place. The owner was very gracious and met us upon arrival, gave suggestions on restaurants and even told us about the salmon. Very clean and comfortable and a great location to a few great eateries and shops. Would highly recommend.
Nothing.

Quiet location right next to a creek that was still close to town; fabulous room with comfy beds;

Perfect and beautiful place. Nice room and reception service. Our best stay in Alaska.
Expensive. But all Seward is expensive.

Steller Inn proved to be an exceptional small inn: tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished, sparklingly clean, and located in a transcendent, idyllic bit of paradise. The owners were extremely responsive to our needs and obviously cared deeply about the experience of their guests. Hope to return!
Wonderful stay!

Maja was such an amazing host! So beautiful!

Beautiful grounds! Well taken care of and all the flowers were exceptional! The hotel mad us feel like we were truly alone in the wilderness. The staff was amazing and made us feel right at home. Best place we have stayed in Seward!
I have no complaints!
4.7
Beautiful location by the stream with beautiful trees. Very friendly and helpful manager and owner. Helped us with some car issues. Great BBQ place where we cooked a great dinner. Highly recommended.
4.7
Beautiful setting, friendly and personable hostess, comfortable amenities, lots of artistic touches in the room and gardens, private deck, close to town and quiet.
4.7
We loved our stay at the Steller Inn! It was exceptionally comfortable and clean, with cozy bedding and pillows you could fluff or squish to suit your preference. The towels were thick and there was plenty of hot water. The location is a little away from town, but so quiet and beautiful. We also appreciated the binder with useful information and a nature quidebook.
Nothing could have been better.

Outstanding. Hoghly recommended. Beautiful and well maintained. The best hotel in our 12 day trip to Alaska

location was fabulous… tucked away along a stream. meticulously clean and filled with charming touches. Bed was wonderful as were the towels. Managers Maja and Kenny were superb and thoroughly accommodating!!Essentially, we loved everything!

This location is perfect for visiting all there is to see around Seward. It was a comfortable and clean room. It is a row of connected cabins, but they are insulated very well because we could not hear any of the other visitors at any time. The property is great for long stays as they provide a grill, camp fire pit and plenty of games and cooking necessities.
There was nothing we didnt like about this inn.
4.7
Everything - the modern room and the fantastic balcony, the great and quiet location near a stream, the WiFi quality, the great shower, the perfect hospitality - and all in a reasonable price.
Nothing.
4.7
Location perfect between Seward and Exit Glacier. Manager was wonderful and welcomed us after we arrived late. Rooms were clean, spacious, great views, nice window blinds to keep out light. Amenities were nice---coffee, paper plates/bowls, shampoo, etc. The grounds are just beautiful and the stream out back was FULL of salmon. Would highly recommend this inn.
Walls fairly thin; could hear alarm of neighbor. But not much to be done about that.

The manager Maja is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay

I rarely give reviews to places that I stayed at, but this Inn deserves one. What can I say - from the moment I pulled up to the parking lot, I feel cozy already. The check in process was smooth as butter. Maja (the manager) showed me around the property and this inn comes with a little creek that has salmon swimming upstream! She then provided me with hiking information and she let me know that the inn has a couple of bear sprays for guest to borrow. My room was spacious - it has fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc. (just no TV) and I don’t even mind the “outside” bathroom (literally 10 steps away from my room). I definitely recommend this Inn to everyone!
Probably just the lack of electric outlet. There are a few of them in the room, but they either are taken already (for the fridge, microwave etc) or they are located in very odd spot. If it has at least one cord extension, then it would’ve been better.

The Steller Inn is off the beaten path and was beautifully landscaped with flowers galore when we stayed. The stream with salmon running behind the inn was tranquil and fascinating to me as I had never experienced or seen it before. Maja greeted us when we arrived and gave us a little tour before showing us our room. She was very friendly and helpful. A great stay.
4.7
Hotel featured large rooms and well maintained grounds.
Room was poorly insulated for sound from neighboring rooms. Probably not a problem for most, but we had the misfortune to have kids next door.
4.7
Property was welcoming, beautiful, clean and inviting.
All was great!
4.7
Great place to stay to explore exit glacier
Bring a bathroom sack for toiletries to make going back and forth easier
4.7
Beautiful landscape with running creek. Super nice manager <3 simple, sweet, and comfortable room.
No TV. No easy access to snacks/ice even though they were offered for free, it was not available 24/7, only when office was open.
Maybe they need to invest in ice machine and maybe snack/soda machine they don’t need to lock up.
4.7
Great facility in a wonderful location, but the best part was the friendly, accommodating young lady of the staff that was our hostess. Outstanding customer service is an understatement!
