Lugar perfecto para ver auroras boreales

La cabaña es idílica en medio de la montaña, tiene todas las comodidades, zona de cocina completa y un baño bastante amplio. Un lugar perfecto para estar en medio de la nieve y poder ver auroras boreales. 100% recomendable.

El acceso a la cabaña es un poco complicado. Está a 8-9km de la carretera principal y cuando nieva el camino a la cabaña está cubierto de nieve, hay que ir con cuidado.

Lo recomiendo mucho

Nos tocaron las casas más modernas y superaron nuestras expectativas. Todo perfectamente equipado y extremadamente limpio. Volveremos sin duda porque fue fantástico. Aparcas en la puerta y coges la llave del cajetín así que puedes llegar cuando quieras.

Todo muy limpio, habitación bien y cocina equipada (aunque no tenía fuegos, sólo un hornillo eléctrico).

Sólo había una ducha, todo estaba en la planta de arriba (sin ascensor).

Aventures stay near the farmers, good beds and nice hosts

The room was clean and the beds were comfy, every morning we got greeted by the goats / sheeps. (Luckely they were silent at night)

We didn't had a bad stay what so ever. But we could only eat noodles with some boiling water. A portable stove with a soup pan was available but unfortunaly was not listed on the booking site.

Modern and clean studio with a great shower and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our night here after a long day of hiking.

The guesthouse is well maintained and the rooms are really clean and spacious, our room had a table which was nice for having dinner/breakfast with the countryside view. The bed was really comfortable and the heating was working. In the kitchen you have all amenities you need for preparing dinner or having a nice breakfast.

The shared bathroom was a bit small. Even if property is near by road 1, the path to arrive there was not the best (also due to rain). However, I must say that if the weather conditions are good, you can have some wonderful hiking around the area.

Modern apartment (number 9) w/ outdoor parking included. Fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, dish washer,...), very useful since there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Easy to find despite long dirt road to arrive. Very good indications by the owner. Overall excellent!

SUV necessary to access this location since there are several km of dirt road to go through. Plan a shopping expedition before arrival, nearest supermarket 30 km (and very small).

Fantastic cozy wooden cabin

The cabin is really nice and welcoming, made of wood, in a quiet secluded area where we could see the northern lights the whole night! Very clean and comfortable, offers all amenities, fridge, coffee maker, water boiler, hair dryer. We couldn’t find the cabin as we arrived late in the evening and the owner was so kind to come meet us and drove us to the place. Fantastic stay, highly recommended for an authentic Icelandic experience!

Great facilities

Had a great assortment of facilities, including a kitchen etc. Was lucky to have stayed with the other rooms empty so had exclusive access. Room was huge and comfy, showers were properly hot.

Toilet ceiling was low, am 6"1 and hit my head a couple times on it being careless. Staff could be more helpful, drove in during heavy rain and was completely in darkness, host was looking at us through the window but no indication that we were at the right place. Drive in was completely dark, almost hit a tractor driving in. Couldn't work the TV but could be just me not familiar with the settings.

Pleasant stay at a super clean, comfortable and modern studio.

Great facilities. Extremely clean.

Pillows were useless. I had to make a pillow out of my dirty clothes. I booked for two beds. My friend and I were given a room with one bed. It starts to get weird sleeping in the same bed as your mate.

Clear instructions, useful facilities, including shared kitchen, adequate location.
