The cabin was beautiful! Plenty of room, very clean and great location out the way but near main roads. Loved the cooking/dining space and the balcony was great for the evenings
Nothing I didn’t like to be honest

Great location, lovely clean chalet. Super comfortable beds, homely feel

Fully equipped comfortable wooden house full of privacy with amazing views and grilling facilities. Outdoors bathtub was the best.
Bedrooms are a bit small

Nice and spacious cottage. Lots of privacy. Loved the hot-tub. For us, this was the start of a 3 wk road trip through Iceland, but the location is also perfect if you only have time to visit Iceland's golden circle.
The (in this area unavoidable!) sulfurish smell of the water needs some time to get used to, but for us actually added to the charm of this accomodation.

The cottage is simple but perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay in the south of the country. The location is very practical, close to 2 towns that have all necessary amenities.

This apartment has really everything you need and even more, like hot tube and barbacue. Perfect location, close to the Golden Circle.

Comfortable accommodations in a peaceful setting and close to activities.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Excellent communication and great beds!
Kitchen had all the necessities and the space between cottages was superb. This place was great to come "home" to after days of adventure.
Nothing.

There should be more clothes hooks for hanging an some more power sockets for electric stuff

Loved the jacuzzi, the location, the space.
Check-in and out processes very convenient.
Lots of information provided about local activities.
Would definitely stay again!

The location is great
The chalet needs a bit of TLC and maybe a bit of a refresh is needed, the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable (you sleep with the curtain in your face and right below the window), some of the kitchen tools and cupboards were quite dirty, missing towels when we checked in. I was expected better but was left disappointed and was happy to only stay for 2 nights (not sure why so many great and positives review). On the plus side checkin and checkout was easy.

Great location with incredible views day and night.

Lovely cabin and facilities. Very clean and cozy, with comfortable beds, and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The cabins are well spaced out. So you feel very secluded. Just off route 1 & not far from the golden circle and 2 towns close by. Owners were really helpful and responded quickly to our queries. I would definitely stay here again.
4x4 is a definite must in the winter.

Beautiful cosy cabin a good distance away from others so we felt completely secluded. Fabulous views from the balcony. Everything we could ask for was provided although, being British, we did go out and buy bigger tea & coffee cups. The hot tub was a great addition, right next to the back door so we didn't need to brave the cold for too long before hopping in the shower. The cabin was much warmer than we expected - in fact we had to open windows at night (in February) to keep from overheating! This would have been the perfect spot to see the Northern lights had they made an appearance. Sadly the weather was too cloudy during our 2 night stay.
The sofa was ever so slightly sunken, the UPVC table cloth was a tiny bit damaged and the coasters were a little small to safely balance wine glasses on. None of these things were an issue at all - I only mention so people can see what little there is to criticise about the place!

Everything was perfect. The cabin is in a great location, only a short drive to local shops & bakery. There's also some great restaurants within a couple of miles (a must try is the Ingólfsskali Viking resturant about a mile away). The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious for us as a couple. We spent just over a week in this cabin - due our flight being cancelled we had to request an extra night, and the host was very accommodating and made the situation less stressful for us. The hot tub is incredible! We even managed to see the northern lights on a clear night. The track to the cabin was cleared early every morning which made it easier to leave on snowy days. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Iceland.
Nothing.

Directions to the chalet were great, we arrived in the dark and snow but found it very easily! Heating was good and beds were very comfortable. Stefan was very kind and helpful, we should have hired a 4x4 but didn't so got a bit stuck in the snow, Stefan pulled us out and checked we were ok getting to the airport the following day.
No real downside, the bed were comfortable but the rooms too small for space each side of the double beds which meant climbing over each other to visit the bathroom in the night so we just used both rooms!

Amazing location, best place to see northern lights, very quiet place
some of the stuff in the kitchen was dirty and also the bathroom

The property was comfortable and equipped with just about everything you would need for a self catering stay. The property was clean and the hosts were very helpful and answered messages very quickly. We needed to leave at 5am for the airport, the hosts ensured that the resort roads were cleared before our departure - great service. Hot tub was large enough for 6 people and we managed to see the Northern Lights from the cabin. cabins are well spaced and private, I would recommend this holiday home.
I would suggest a 4x4 in the winter months, having left the holiday home. We got stuck in the snow as they are not always ploughed.

The cabin we stayed in was well equipped and very clean. We were lucky to see the aurora on 2 of the 4 nights we stayed from the cabin itself, we could literally watch it from our bedroom window. We didn't meet any of the team (we didn't have need to) but waved to the driver who came twice a day to clear the snow so that all guests could get to and from their cabins. I would definitely recommend and would return.
Nothing, we were really pleased with the cabin, location and value.

Really nice house in countryside far from city lights, which allow us to see northern lights :-)
Cosy and comfortable house very well equipped to cook, nice beds and a super private hot tub !
The owner are really nice and helpful (they helped us with our luggage that was lost from the plane company)
We loved our stay !
Nothing, all was perfect

The house is very cosy, quiet location, comfy beds. You may experience the sulphur smell when you run the taps, but by no means it is dirty in the house - it is all down to Iceland being geothermal island :) Host was very friendly and there was hot tub, enough space to park car, coffee, soap and all basic kitchen utensils to cook. I recommend this place for groups and families.

Cosy house, blending well with nature. Friendly host. The highlight was Jon’s CD. He has a magnificent voice and listening to his music during our stay made a great atmosphere. It would be great if a copy of the CD was offered to the guests.
The bathroom was old fashioned and the cleanliness level did not meet our expectations.
The warm water smells sulphur which was not bearable and was not mentioned in the property description. We couldn’t even take a shower for this reason.
It was very disappointing to find out that after following the instructions on how to use the hot tub and after having tried for an hour, the water was unbearably hot to the extent that we couldn’t use it.
The gravel road could be improved/needs maintenance.
Proper signage would help in finding the lodge.

The cottage is not far from the city Hveragerdi and it has everything you need. The hot tub was wonderful. Staying in the warm water beneath a starry sky is such an amazing experience. The rooms are lovely decorated and it is very cozy.
Be aware that like everywhere in Iceland the water smells like sulfur.
