Hospitality and kindness of host was exceptional.. Location and local amenities were fantastic.

The breakfast was superb. The house is beautiful. It's conveniently close to the light railway station into town. Our hostess was delightful and kindly gave me honey and lemon at breakfast when I had lost my voice.
We were able to borrow a map of the city and a leaflet about the Freedom Trail.
We had the Queen Suite at the top of the house which has a sofa bed in the kitchen/diner/sitting room. We had to rearrange the furniture so that we could walk to the kitchen area without climbing over the bed.
It is unfortunate that the light railway service isn't more reliable. We had a problem getting home in the evening when the trains were closed between 2 stations on our line.

The host Claudia was so nice and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and it felt very private even though others were staying also. The location was close to the green line station which took about 34 mins to get into the centre of Boston
It would be nice to have tea making facilities

This is a pleasant place for making a visit to Boston.

Outstanding breakfast. Very accommodating host. Gave important and helpful advise on how to best visit Boston.

The B&B was a great location within walking distance to local shops and restaurants, as well as a T stop if you wanted to take it into downtown Boston. The location is very quiet at night. There was also a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning.
There was nothing I didn’t like, we really enjoyed our stay. I was able to relax when I needed to, and there is even an outside seating area if you want to take a break and read, or catch some sun.

Breakfast was excellent and Claudia actually found some Greek pastries for us and a great Bagette for my French Husband.

Beautiful house in nice neighborhood and close to the train.

Claudia's breakfasts were stellar with a huge variety, including homemade granola, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, pastries/bagels/croissants, cheese, juice, coffee/tea and the company of other guests added to light and intriguing conversation. The B&B is centrally located and across the street from a delightful neighborhood restaurant for a light meal or late night dessert -- such a treat. Katie's Room was very comfortable with everything we needed including a small fridge, coffee maker, plenty of towels, robes, air conditioning, view to the street and comfortable QUEEN bed (not double, as Bookings.com states and Claudia has tried to get updated to no avail). Bathroom is spotless and updated with all sorts of amenities like Q-tips, cotton balls, razor, etc. Wonderful service to visitors!

A Village B&B is a gem located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood, yet walkable to public transportation and shops just around the corner. Claudia is a charming, attentive host who made us feel very welcome in her lovely, airy home. She creates a peaceful and congenial atmosphere and provides an ample continental breakfast in her dining room. Our king room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with plenty of extra blankets. We also enjoyed the cozy screened-in porch just off our bedroom. The roomy, bathroom was sparkling clean, with plenty of towels and other amenities for comfort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Boston area.

Claudia is an amazing host who really cares about her guests. She's always happy to make conversation, but also let's you be in case you're looking for some alone time. The B&B was located in a very cute part of Newton, it was super clean, everything according to expectation and I can only recommend. It is more than a place to stay, it's an experience. :)
There is nothing that I disliked. There is a post office next doors. Be mindful of that when sleeping with the windows open. It personally didn't bother me, but I could imagine that someone would wake up when light sleeper. On the other hand, an AC arguably makes more noise, so nothing really to bother about.

The house was a very comfortable space and the host was accommodating. There was a white noise machine in the room to help us get a good night's rest. Our breakfast was prepared for us the night before our flight since we would have to check out before breakfast hours.

This is a charming, tastefully decorated and well maintained B&B with all the amenities. The host, Claudia, is lovely...friendly and helpful and provides a delectable assortment of baked goods (she makes a delicious banana bread and her own muesli), cereals, boiled eggs, fruit, berries & yoghurt and good coffee to start your day!
It is conveniently located in a lovely neighbourhood, with restaurants and stores, near to the train into Boston and other attractions, within walking distance.
I highly recommend The Village B&B and look forward to staying here again.

Everything. Claude, the owner, was very friendly. We loved the porch off our bedroom. Room was very spacious and well appointed. One block to the Metro, called the “T”, that ran to Boston Common. Restaurants about a block. Beautiful area for walking, especially around the lake.
I thought the bed was a little too firm, but my wife didn’t. So it’s a preference, not a fault.

Comfortable, expansive breakfast offering (it was like being back in Europe), great location convenient to the T and area restaurants. Thoughtful and gracious host. All good.

We stayed at Claudia's place around the Boston Marathon. It was a very warm stay. Claudia is a very helpful host, makes super breakfasts, is flexibel, the rooms are clean and situated in her beautiful well kept historical house. Near the T and even provide with a Charlie Card it is only 30 minutes ride form Newton Highlands to down town Boston..we highly recomend this characteristic place over any hotel.
If you are there for the Boston marathon you are about to meet other runners and that's great fun!

Claudia is an awesome hostess! The "continental breakfast" was first-rate, with many more choices than we expected. We enjoyed meeting and interacting with the other guests. I really appreciate how this older house has been updated and kept in good condition. The loan of a "Charlie Card" for use on the public transportation system was much appreciated, and the B&B's location just a short walk from the light rail station was convenient. We would be happy to stay there again.
The headroom in the 3rd-floor bathroom was inadequate for us tall people, and the toilet tissue was too thin. Nothing can be done about the headroom, but better TP would be appreciated.
