Charming tourist hotel located in great neighborhood
After two attempts before I got there and two attempts when I got there, I could not get feather free pillows. These are hyper allergenic down, which is like saying hyper allergenic cat. It’s still a cat and I was still allergic and I asked politely and I could’ve been a lot more aggressive, but I was just very disappointed because it meant that my state required asthma medication just to breathe, also it’s a very steep staircase and no elevator so if someone is movement impaired, be you should think about that. The breakfast is OK no fresh orange juice, no hot entries. Also, if you’re on the third floor, I had it attic room with the diagonal ceilings that was pretty dark.

Great location!

Booked a medium room but could barely fit two adult people in there because of the sloping walls. I would have believed if the room had been in the small category. Also had almost no Windows in the room.

Great location
Room unwelcoming, cold and too small. Very poor decoration of room, with low quality materials / objects used, from floor panelling to tiles on bathroom walls, lamps, furniture ( except a beautiful old bed, though with a worn out matress). Nothing of the cozyness, attention to detail and welcoming charm that you would expect from a “ boutique hotel”. With a little extra money, more attention to room design, and in the hands of a good interior decorator, it could be a much better experience.

- Location is great
- Nice staff
- simple and very small room for 3 people ( 2 adults and 1 child). Room located at the old sealing, and this means tilted wall, in an already very small room.
- very expensive for one night, compared with other hotels and hotel standards in the area of central Århus.( I do travel alot i my business, including Århus)
- No hot water for the morning shower, the staff was informed and really no response, other than okay. So there we where 3 people with out morning shower.

Staff seemed nice.
The only thing that basically makes this hotel not a hostel is that you have your own room. I'm not sure if the photos were just cleverly taken for our specific room but it seemed 100% different from the photos from booking. Our room was basically a poor DIY job with terrible lighting, a shower that isn't even part of the bathroom (just part of the bedroom). There is no A/C which is not that uncommon in Denmark, but keep in mind at this price point it would likely be included and that Aarhus has an insane seagull situation which means you will wake up at 5AM if you keep your windows open, and bake if you close them. Also quite noisy in the hotel and you can hear all the conversations happening in the courtyard till quite late due to the above mentioned issues.
If this hotel was like 100 dollars a night or less, it could be called a quirky budget hotel, but at the price that it is charging its simply a terrible value. There are many other hotels in Aarhus at this price point that will be a better choice. We stayed in very nice hotels in Copenhagen for only a little bit more money. Will not be returning or recommending to others.

Excellent. Eggs should have been cooked more
We should have been made aware it is on a walking street. Our cab had to drop us a block from the hotel with all our luggage

Lovely nicely styled small hotel with friendly helpful staff and nice courtyard to sit in

Nice quaint and cozy hotel, ideal for an overnight stay in Aarhus. Excellent breakfast buffet served!
My personal preference would be a more firm mattress, everything else is perfect!

Very nice location, right in the heart of the city center. The hotel has very polite personnel.
The building is quite old and it was cold in the room. The room is missing a personal touch. We’ve booked the hotel due to the good breakfast reviews, but the breakfast was limited to a slot of an hour and the food was placed in on the shelves of an old cabinet.
