Friendly hotel in a nice area downtown Aarhus

The location

Maybe it is not fear but there was some constructions wich was annoying. The elevater was not in a good mood

Dette er et hotel som kan anbefales !

Nydelig og praktisk innredning av værelset; meget bra service fra personalet i både resepsjon og spisesal . Meget sentral beliggenhet . Et trivelig hotel med en god atmosfære .

Older style hotel. Comfortable and well located.

We had a superior king room which was spacious and comfortable. We were over a main road which was quite noisy so we could not leave the windows open until late. The hotel is undergoing works but that was not too bad. The location is very central and the bus stops are right outside the building. The restaurant was closed for dinner. The breakfast was the best on our travels, We were there on Sunday and the breakfast room was very full and we just managed to find a table. The choices were amazing.

There is nowhere to pull up outside the hotel. We were in a car and had to illegally park to unload our cases. We booked because there was onsite parking. We were not advised that the parking was not available due to the building works. We had to drive about 10 mins to the car park (we got lost) which was in a shopping centre. Being Saturday we struggled to find a park. The drive was much further than the walk back to the hotel. It would have been good to know all this before we arrived.

Great Location, but really "sad" room

Breakfast was amazing. Wide range and very tasty.

The bathroom smelled like suige and the room felt so sad.

Frukostmatsalen med många bord och OK buffé. Två hissar underlättade!

Extremt liten toalett och handfat. Ganska trångt rum allmänt.

Fint ophold.

Meget central beliggenhed. Flot buffet med morgenmad i hyggelige lokaler. Venligt personale.

Meget trangt på badeværelset. Manglede et lille natbord og en behagelig stol til at se TV om aftenen - blev nødt til at ligge i sengen, da kontorstolen var ubekvem at sidde på.

Hotel con buena ubicación y espacio limitado.

Scandic The Mayor está perfectamente ubicado junto a la estación central de Aarhus. El desayuno es correcto: buena variedad de panes y embutidos.

Las instalaciones son antiguas y no muy bien cuidadadas. La habitación individual era realmente minúscula, sin armario ni cajones para dejar la ropa. Eché de menos la parte dulce de los desayunos. La limpieza de la habitación se debe solicitar el día antes en recepción, no se hace de forma automática.

Dobre różnorodne śniadanie, dobra lokalizacja

W pokoju pachniało stęchlizną, a w łazience śmierdziało kanalizacją. Brak klimatyzacji, była straszna wilgoć i było gorąco. Pokój bardzo podstawowy.

Tilfredsstillende

Rigtig god beliggenhed, idet sporvognen var lige uden for døren, men også hyggelige cafeer mv. i området Rigtig god morgenmad, dog lidt mange personer i weekenden, hvor flere ting ikke var til rådighed (spis tidligt).

Udsigt til gårdhaven, var reelt et garagetag. Langsom elevator, men der er 2 og trapper. Fik ikke fyldt kaffe op på værelset.

Angenehmes Stadthotel in Top-Lage

Zentrale Lage und das ruhige Zimmer (lag mit Blick auf den Rathaus-Park). Sehr angenehmes Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Leider war das Bett für meine Bedürfnisse zu weich.

Die Reise nach Århus hat uns sehr gefallen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr central und wir konnten die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß ansteuern. Rest konnte mit Bus +Bahn erreicht werden.(Tageskarte) Das Frühstück im Hotel war der Hammer. Klasse, weiter so.

Unser gebuchten Zimmer war uns etwas klein. Bad hatte noch ein Duschvorhang, nicht Zeitgemäß. Es gibt etwas größere Zimmer.

Personalet var søde og imødekommende. Morgenmad ok men har aldrig fået hoppebold (scrambled eggs) før.

Værelset. Koldt fysisk koldt. Ikke opdateret siden 90'erne?? Bor næsten altid på Scandic (første gang her) og kan ikke huske hvornår jeg sidst har mødt et badeforhæng, men her var det

Very good

The hotel is located in a very center of the city, 5 minutes on foot from the train station. Very close to the ARoS museum and Musikhuset. Room not very big, small bathroom. Windows to the inner courtyard, so in the room quiet. Electric kettle in the room. Breakfast varied and tasty. In the lobby drinking water for free and coffee machine - paid.

Ordered a room with two single beds - there were two beds joined.

Exceptional

The staff were all extremely smiley, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy. The location was absolutely spot on in terms of where I needed to be. I'd definitely stay here again. A full 10 gold stars.

Lovely stay in Aarhus!

The location was great. The first room I was given was ridiculously small, with a “sink” in the bathroom the size of a teacup! I asked to move to a larger room with a better bathroom (for an additional surcharge), which, thankfully, the friendly receptionist on duty (named Morten) was able to secure for me. The upgraded room had a good bed. The room had a very small safety box, though sadly no fridge. When the WiFi unexpectedly cut out one day, the receptionist on duty that evening was very helpful in getting me reconnected to the internet. The staff at breakfast was helpful and great: I asked for olive oil for my bread, which they promptly provided. They also offered almond milk, rather than just customary oat drink, which was a pleasant surprise.

The view from the room could have been nicer. I wish European shower “stalls” were securely enclosed, so water wouldn’t wet the entire bathroom floor when taking a shower!

The hotel is in a good location but is in poor condition and needs to be repaired asap.

Tasty and quality food for breakfast. Comfortable parking and location.

The room has bad smell, with worn out furniture and bathroom. The room was dark, with insufficient lighting.
