No breakfast, lovely room and great shower
It was absolutely freezing, they hadn’t put the heating on took hours to heat the room, and it was very cold and wet outside.

loved having a small outside area to sit in. allowed me to spend more time in my room working as i love fresh air.
great location to access the city

never saw a member of staff but that is not a great issue.
nothing not to like - perhaps the bed was a bit soft but i slept as so tired! thanks

Comfortable and had a handy kitchen. No hob but I didn't need one. Really quiet and restful on a busy business trip.
Well, it's Aberdeen - so there's the rain... I guess the check in times are a bit of a nuisance but it was very easy to deal with.

Location was perfect,
Nothing

The space and layout was perfect for our needs.
The suit was clean, plenty of natural light in a quiet location but only a few minutes from town centre.
The noise of the gulls outside.

Easy access, great location for my purpose of stay, good view into square. Bed was very comfy and good size room.
Room was quite warm on arrival, so had to open the windows. Bathroom looks right onto street and had to close roller blinds which during the night became quite noisy due to air movement. There are street lights right outside which were quite bright so could do with heavier curtains. One thing that should be provided is bottled drinking water.

The kitchen had decent facilities.
The bedroom is next door to the laundry for the shared property so I could hear laundry being done at all times of day and night. The bed was also uncomfortable.
The reception team member used the phrase "that is going to be a problem" too many times when I was checking in because I didn't have the credit card I booked the room with to take a deposit. It really made me feel I had done something wrong and wasn't going to be able to stay at the property.
Which I was able to do in the end.
Finally, the room has a balcony but because of the seagulls that use and poop on the balcony, it is unusable. I wasn't able to keep my door open because the seagull kept on trying to enter, which it did at one point and pecked, and made a hole in, my belongings.

Excellent location and although not far from some noisy venues, the location itself was quiet and pleasant. Room was good as was both bedroom and bathroom. Liked the simplicity of the furniture. Pleasant enough view from both living room and bedroom windows.
Friendliness of reception staff. There were a number of guests arriving at similar times and felt reception was quite abrupt to myself and other guests regards the checking in system. There are no keys for entry all this is done by code and code issued via e-mail at time of check in. Think this could cause issues with older people than myself. The building was very warm but found the windows were either fully closed or fully open, no in between option. Could do with some way of partial opening.

FIRST TIME I USED E-MAIL TO GET CODES FOR THE KEYPAD ON THE ROOM DOOR......NO KEYS....NO BRANCHES OF TREES ON YOUR KEYRING OR HUGE LUMPS OF PLASTIC.........ALL ON THE PHONE.....EXCELLENT.....
NOTHING......

location is ideal. Large bed. Isla on reception was very pleasant.

Central quiet location. Good clean modern presentation. Recently refurbished. Shower power is good, good size bedroom and living room area. A responsive TV. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Lighting in the rooms is fine.
High vantage point, I had the view of Sea Gulls nesting on a neighbours flat roof.
Attention to detail and additional staff training would enhance this place.
Attention to detail equals checking that all appliances work, ask checking out guests if everything was working. In my case, the toaster was not working, probably never been reported not working or never been checked. The saucepan handle was on the verge of dropping off, it was loose, only a screw tightening required.
The blinds, in the bedroom did not shut properly and on this crucial point, if after every guest change a systematic checklist had been gone through the mal functions would have been noted and rectified.
I struggled to get the hob to work, again the staff would only say read the instructions, rather than offer to come up and have a look. I could tell there was no power to the hob and eventually found the fuse box and indeed that particular circuit had tripped. Once again if a final check had been undertake, this would have been noted and corrected.
On the matter of staff training, it is helpful if the attending staff would be more engaged. I had a door lock problem, the attending staff was not keen to come up to the 2nd floor a second time ( first time was to show me how to operate the hot towel rail and keep the other radiators off, a better arrangement would have been to have a dual fuel (hot water and electric) radiator in the bathroom) ) and note that the door lock had truly malfunctioned. I had to race down 2 flights of steps and just managed to stop her leaving for home. In fairness to her, she had to come up eventually and note that the door lock had indeed malfunctioned. This matter was resolved with the owners arriving and sorting it out with a mechanical old fashioned overriding key, in a very timely manner and all was well.
All communication is via emails, thus if you are not in the habit of checking emails, you will miss their emails. After a few unanswered emails, a phone call would be a good idea too. This is especially important for late checking in.

Bathrooms are always my favourite part, can’t beat a powerful, hot shower and Craibstone didn’t disappoint 👍
Nothing, I couldn’t fault it 🤷♂️

very spacious great location

Centralised location
Very rigid and unfriendly management. I recieved rude outburst from the owners when I inquired about the mandatory deposit of nearly the exact figures paid for the suite. The owners lack the decorum of a customer service.

Very clean, friendly staff, great location
