Close to Union Street. Cheap accommodation. Stored luggage before/after check in
Very basic facilities. Price probably reflects that

It was in a perfect location to the city centre, only a 5 minute walk. The staff were lovely and helpful. There is usually a £5 per day charge for the hotel parking which we were given free of charge. The shower and it's temperature were great. Didn't try the restaurant so can't give opinion on that
There was no lock on the bathroom door which is no good when you have teenage twin boys who love to wind each other up! The room was clean but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. My partner wiped in between the tiled floor with a tissue and got up a heap of dirt. There was some mould round the shower doors. The front door doesn't remain open after 11pm but for some reason there was an alarm that went off from it all night. You won't hear it depending on where your room is situated but unfortunately we were very close. With a few changes that I've stated above I would consider staying again

Booked the flagship to meet up with family who was coming from the Shetlands & as they didn't arrive until next morning off ferry with 2 young children the manager let them enter their room early which was absolutely appreciated as it was very cold outside but when ever we go we will definitely bd staying at the flagship the staff where just do lovely & polite 💯 %

The staff were friendly and the location is good, just at the top of a huge set of stairs! But there is flatter access coming from Union Street, especially if you're driving.
The TV did not work; I am a Brit and had come from Spain so I was looking forward to some traditional UK TV in the evenings. The receptionist tried to solve it, but couldn't do so. Also, my bath leaked into the downstairs reception area (my room was directly above reception) and the bar was closed which was not mentioned at all.

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location near bus and rail stations.
Shower head was really grubby, so didn't fancy taking a shower. One electric socket next to radiator had a broken off earth from a plug so could not be used.

Superb location two minutes from Union Street. Nice friendly staff, always pleasant when you passed them at reception. Very easy check in/out. Great value for money slap bang in the center of town.
Only down side was the constant banging of doors, I realize that fire doors must close over but they can be adjusted to be as slow as possible for the last few degrees

Room and location met all my needs for my visit to Aberdeen
I was unable to book for the following week

The room was comfortable and clean
The reception was chaotic and told me I had cancelled my stay. I did no such thing but postponed it from the prior week. The corridors were extremely unclean and I was told I was staying in the attached hotel which was formerly the Highlander but there was no connection between the two properties. When I viewed my Barclaycard account I saw that I was charged 6 times separately over a 2 day period for my singular 2 night stay. However I was refunded 5 times. Completely unacceptable.

The restaurant and bar was closed. My tiny TV had no remote and only 3 channels that had to be changed using button on TV. The main bedroom light was a big old thing that looked like an old kettle element. It flickered most of the time. The bedside light didn't work. It was noisy due to other guests banging about all night. The thick curtains may look nice to some but when closed they blocked out the heater under the window. The street light outside shone right into the room. So it was freeze in the dark or being warm and bright. None of which are nice.
I didn't like the higgildy piggaldy layout. Knock the interior down and build back better.

Friendly staff. Good location, only issue are the stairs when coming from town. But if you take a longer route you could avoid them. Bathroom clean and new.
Walls paper thin! Room next door came back at 3 and it woke me up!

Only good thing was the location.
The staff were unwelcoming and disinterested
The TV didn't work they apologised and said they would fix it in the morning even though check is 10am and I pointed this out, they said they'd swap it with another tv and didn't bother to come back with the TV
Pubic hair in the bath on arrival
There was big dips in the floor
It was very very cold
The lamps were broken

Location was great, in the city center. Good value for money. Good welcome at the reception
There was a smell of humidity in the corridors (not in the room). It also took a long time for them to reply to written messages, better to call them
