schönes Hotel mit schlechtem Restaurant

die Lage ist topp, die Zimmer schön. Wir mussten in die Remise, ohne Fahrstuhl mit viel Gepäck ein Drama, ebenso für unsere Hunde, denn diese hatten Probleme mit der offnen Treppe

Restaurant schlecht geführt. Aufteilung des Service, der Leiter des Service geht weder optisch (Kleidung schnuddelig) noch vom Verhalten. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, die Preise hoch. so lieblos präsentiertes mittelmäßiges Essen hätte ich bei dem Ambiente nicht erwartet.

Rummet var inte värt pengarna då det var dåligt städat och slitet

Läget nära slottsparken.

Rummet luktade illa, och det var inte välstädat, så kändes ofräscht. Fönstren på rummet var mycket smutsiga. Dåligt med glasdörrar till badrummet och in till toaletten. Gjorde att man inte fick vara privat på toaletten. Hotellet kändes gammalt och slitet, och är i stort behov av en uppfräschning. Luktade mögel i korridoren utanför rummet. Få lediga platser på bilparkeringen och mycket trångt att parkera, med lång transport för att bära in väskorna, borde gå att komma in i hotellet från baksidan parkeringen.

Ein toller Wochenendtrip mit meiner Frau in herrlicher Umgebung inkl der wunderschönen Wasserspiele!

Tolle Lage, sehr schönes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal (!), sehr gute Küche. Preis war voll ok.

Lovely; highly recommended!

The very comfortable extra bed for our little girl made this a perfect family accommodation. The hotel was very comfortable and full of thoughtful details. The location is fantastic.

AC wasn't working but location was excellent

The location was wonderful. After having spent many nights in cities, staying up away from the cities was exactly what we needed. Because we arrived by car and paid for parking we could have left our car in the parking lot while we exlored the park nextdoor if I had been listeneing (which I wasn't). Instead we hiked back up the hill from the lower parking lot! We had a room with a door that opened onto the garden which was nice. Breakfast was a little chaotic, but we were there near a holiday weekend so I think that was the primary reason. Highly recommend Brauhaus Zum Rammelsberg for dinner!

We arrived to find that our AC wasn't working. I alerted the front desk and was told that the person who could look at it was already gone. They said someone else would go take a look while we were at dinner and would leave a fan if they couldn't get it running. In the end the AC didn't work. We couldn't leave the windows open because of people smoking on the balcony below us and, well, daylight. They did not offer to change rooms. Bed was hard, but this has been our experience for almost all of Germany.

Superb

Great staff members! We forgot our mobile phone in the room and we did not notice until we arrived home, we called front office, they told us they already found it and try to send it to us. We got it after one day from DHL, and well packed. Many thanks to helping us. The locations, facilities, restaurant and biergarten are all great, it was very comfortable to stay.

Excellent hotel, food and location.

The hotel was in an excellent location, near tram stop into Kassel and lovely walks on the doorstep. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods, all were excellent especially the omelette made to order. Room service meals were great after a busy day out. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly and lovely spa facilities.

Not the best value for money with standard rooms

A good bed, good restaurant, friendly helpful staff

No nightstand next to my side of the bed, no airco and lowering temperature in the bedroom wasnt easy. Old and outdated bed and bathroom. The shower wasnt great in temperature stability nor in water flow. Only 2 slots for charging your electric vehicle. While it is a big hotel. Needs an update to be on par with value for money. Restaurant is good but the mix of a walk in buffet and regular restaurant makes it a chaotic and hectic experience.

Superb

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel very well looked after, comfortable and clean. Same for the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. And the Spa was great with lots of places to sit, lie and relax. The food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent. And the nearby park and walks were excellent, too. All in all a great experience and I'd always come back.

lovely location right by the park, nice outdoor pool

No air conditioning in the room, windows opened to a sometimes noisy car park. It was overall ok, but not ok for this price range. The restaurant was excellent one day, but the same meal another day left sth to be desired… also, given that the location is far out from other restaurants, the menu is somewhat limited for those staying a few days.

Position was okay, and room was - all in all - okay.

Although the room was okay, it was lower grade w.r.t. the one we had booked (no balcony, etc.). They said it was their mistake, and apologised, but made no "wxcuse discount" of any kind, like parking.

Great location - but disappointed in quality of room for the high price.

Location.

Room was very, very tired, and looked out over bins. Looked nothing like the rooms pictured. Travelled with pet, so guess this was why. Disturbed from 07.30 by succession of delivery lorries discharging cargo. If a lower price reflected the standard of room, it would have been more acceptable/ reasonable. Just disappointed.
